Cómoda casa de cedro de dos habitaciones y un baño ubicada en las hermosas montañas de Franklin, Carolina del Norte. Privado, pero cerca del centro comercial y de restaurantes.
El área abierta de sala y comedor cuenta con pisos de madera y una chimenea de piedra con troncos de gas, lo que lo convierte en un excelente lugar para relajarse. Cocina totalmente equipada con refrigerador, cocina eléctrica, lavaplatos, microondas y cafetera. Ambas habitaciones están equipadas con camas queen size. Celebration of life

This property was great. We were in town for our grandfathers Celebration Of Life. The house was very comfortable and we were only right down the road from other family. Great place to stay with family or friends!

Beautiful View , Quiet and Clean

Beautiful view , very quiet even though other homes were nearby. Property was very clean and well maintained. Had to cut trip short due to husband' becoming ill, but will stay again in the future. Communication with Sara was great.

Sweet cabin

Sweet cabin. Very clean. Equipped with the essentials. Great view from the deck and from the dining and living rooms. Owners were accommodating. We enjoyed being so close to all that Franklin has to offer, while feeling nestled in the mountains.

Cozy getaway in the Mou

This was the perfect cozy house for our family to enjoy our time in the mountains. The kitchen was great to cook all of our meals. Great view from the deck to relax and sip on coffee. Close to hiking spots such as the Bartram Trail and the AT. Also close to gem mining which is always a hit with the family. Definitely will rent again.

Nice house in the mountajns

This well appointed house is perfect to visit Western NC. We toured waterfalls. It’s in a neighborhood and we enjoyed watching their 4th of July party and fireworks from the deck.

Wonderful place!

This is a wonderful little place clean and easy to get overall we had a wonderful stay even the neighbors were nice and friendly they invited us down to use their swimming pool but we were too busy to take time out . All in all I would definitely rent again

Disturbing Dogs Barked All Night

it was a small cozy cabin, but the view was very disappointing. The cabin is surrounded by neighbors with dogs. It was very disturbing to spend my vacation in the freezing weather where the neighbors have dogs that bark all night not to mention one neighbor had 5 dogs and they were all on chains. Not once did we notice anyone checking on the dogs in the freezing weather (temperature got to 2 degrees). We went over to check on the dogs and took them some food, they had very little water in their bowls and the water they did have was frozen. The cabin had two sliding glass doors on the front of the house that did not have any curtains to pull for privacy. Would not recommend this to anyone looking a mountain view and a good nights sleep.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

We were looking to get out of the DC area and we have been to Franklin before. It was a last minute decision to getaway for the New Year. We were pleasantly surprised with the cabin and view of the mountains. Not quite in the Smokey's, but you get the same fog running through the mountain tops which looks beautiful. We were able to catch the sunset from our deck after a long day hiking and it was amazing. Franklin is well located near some local trails and the town is friendly. We shot up to Asheville for one of our days and a very cool city awaited us. The River Art's District was really unique. The cabin is clean, modern, and has everything you need. Was a great trip.

Very Clean and Affordable...Pefect for a Family

This was a perfect little cabin for our family. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We liked its proximity to ski resorts, close enough for a day drive without the expense of being in a resort. The owners communicated well with us and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great cabin. Wonderful, helpful hosts.

My friend and I wanted to go the the Franklin Gem and Mineral show. I compared motel rooms on several national sites and soon found that the prices were in my opinion jacked up for the large number of visitors for the show. Most of the motels are very old and I just could not see the value of what they were charging. Being a VRBO owner myself for a coastal town, I turned to VRBO and was pleased to find this very exceptional and clean two bedroom cabin on a quiet hill only three miles from town. It was perfect for us and even though this is a mountain town it was over 90 every day. Great to come back to air conditioned comfort. It was quiet and we both slept well. I would go back in a moment to this lovely property. Todd and Sarah were very responsive. Be sure to visit the downtown area of Franklin full of local shops which are gone in too many small towns.

Wonderful, Cozy, Home Away from Home!

The cabin was perfect for us. Close to downtown Franklin, Highlands and all the wonderful beauty of the Great Smokey Mountains. It was more than enough room for 4 adults. The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean and inviting. Todd and Sarah are wonderful owners. If you just need a few days away or a nice place to make base camp, this is the cabin for you!

"Welcome Home"

It is too bad we can only rate this with 5 stars . It deserves 10 stars. We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is so inviting. It was very clean and besutifully decorated. Sara and Todd are one of the nicest couples you would ever want to meet. They were very accommodating. If you want to get away to relax and sleep and eat, this is the place for you! You are close enough to town if you want to drive in for a movie or restaurants or take a walk down Main Street . Three nights was not enough. We do plan to return.

This place is very clean and tidy. The kitchen is a decent size - just right for cooking for 6 people. The view at the balcony is gorgeous. Although it's a little bit far from the major attractions, it's worthy for such a great price. I will stay there again if I do another trip to the Smoky Mountains.

Outstanding cottage

This is a nice comfortable home that is very clean. Great location close to town, yet not too close. Did not meet Todd (owner) but Sara is very sweet and Todd was very good at communicating/responding to requests. We will definitely be staying with them in the future.

Indeed Cozy

This home is very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The location was ideal for access to all of the activities available in the area. The house was easy to find and easily accessible by car. We enjoyed the view from the deck at all times of the day. Would definitely stay here again!

Very Cool Little Place

This is a great place, well decorated, well furnished and in a great location. Todd (the owner) was good at communicating just what we needed to know. The cottage seems to be in a good, central spot to explore many awesome spots in The Smoky Mountains and is close to stores and restaurants, but not too close. We were only able to stay for two days, due to our schedule. We'd recommend staying at least four days to make the most of the location and your get away.

Wonderful place for a family

We had an incredible time over 4 days at this home. The cabin is impeccably clean and everything is new. Great attention to detail was placed on making sure all the comforts of one's own home are there. I have at stayed at 5 star hotels that are not as clean as this home was. Todd (owner) was great at communicating and he made sure we had a great stay. If you're looking for a place to relax and unwind for a few days, look no further. We plan to come back again next year.

Loved it!

Cozy, comfortable, tastefully decorated getaway.

We were not disappointed when arrived at this lovely place close to the town of Franklin. The price was very reasonable for such a nice, newly decorated place. All the amenities were there, and it was spotlessly cleaned. I was very impressed with the attention the owners provided showing concern for our comfort and well being. Todd and Sara are the nicest people. This is the perfect location for a quiet getaway near town and the Appalachian Trail.
