Highly recommended

Further to other good reviews the property was as expected. Very well equipped in a great location. The host was excellent, responsive and extremely helpful, making our stay a 10/10.

The best Family vacation

We had a wonderful time in this house, with a precious view and a pool that cooled us down when the sun was shining a lot. We were enjoying our stay very much and would definitely recommend this beautiful house to anyone who is looking for a spacious accommodation and has a car! Maybe bring some mosquito spray ;)

Perfect family holiday villa

It was the perfect family holiday villa, located inbetween lots of great places to visit for all ages. The kids loved the villa, and the garage space is a great addition for when it was too hot to play outside. Perfect for us adults as well to enjoy a relaxing drink in the evening from the covered seating area, watching the sunset. Would definitely recommend.

2 Week Holiday

The villa is excellent all-round with the outside area the best we have ever had in a villa which made the holiday ideal for us. Jesus was very helpful from start to finish answering any questions quickly and sorting any issues out immediately. The location is very good for getting to the surrounding areas and we would definitely stay again.

excellent villa

Wonderful villa with everything you could possibly want. Welcome basket with fruit and wine was an added bonus, thank you very much. The pool was enjoyed by all, a few tiles missing, but no big deal. The owner came over and cleaned the pool and filters. He was very pleasant. You definitely need a CAR here. The hill is a killer for even the fittest. Overall great place, great villa, quiet location. Best for rest and relaxation.

Perfect

A wonderful week. The family loved the pool & the house. Jesus was the perfect host, a couple of questions were answered immediately. His mother even brought us some delicious grapes. Beautiful views from the outside dining table in the evening In our opinion you do need a car especially in August when the temperature was over 40 degrees. Thank goodness for the air conditioning at night. Can thoroughly recommend this villa for an enjoyable holiday

More than expected

The pictures do not do the villa justice it is big and roomy inside more than big enough for the 7 of us to have individual space if needed with nice size bedrooms bathroom is a nice large size outside the views are amazing and it’s lovely and quiet but not to quiet you feel isolated. the garage is large enough for 2 cars with room for children to play in ,pool deeper and a lot bigger than the pictures show the the outside space was very useable The town was a 5 minute drive with free parking on the sea front loads of supermarkets including Lidl and Aldi local restaurants on the front were very nice and not to expensive We will definitely be coming again And a big thank you to Jesus mum for supplying fruit from the land to us it was lovely Everything you needed was supplied apart from your groceries A big thank you Marie Tolly

Almost perfect

Picturesque, beautiful views, amazing outside space with pool and loungers. Watch the sunrise in the morning and view the lights of the mountains at night to the soundtrack of insects. Lovely old house, somewhat rustic, quite dusty. Found en suite to be a little smelly when any toilet is flushed and we had issues with electric cutting out, but host was very helpful and accommodating, the mangoes he grows are absolutely delicious, worth the stay alone!!! Location in the mountains is perfect for relaxing as its an isolated spot. In the mountains so it can get very windy and the road to the property is very narrow but I had an enormous suv not suited, any medium to small size car would have been much better. Family had a great vacation and everyone absolutely loved the pool, even when it rained. Read a review where someone said the village in Competa with the umbrellas is a 7 minute walk, well they must walk at 30 mph! You definitely need a car or some form of transport if you are staying here! Overall its a 7/10 for me but the kids would give it a 10!!

Lovely Villa

We have just got back after staying at Villa Padial for two weeks stay. We were very impressed with the villa, it was excellent location for us as we had friends who have a place in Torrox Village, and whilst we at first doubted the '10 minute' walk, it really was only 10 mins to get to the top of the town (albeit with a bit of an incline but good exercise! The villa was immaculate and quite traditional and had all the facilities we needed to start our relaxing holiday straight away. As the villa is set quite high up, there was a breeze which was absolutely needed, especially when the temperatures increased. Nothing was too much trouble for Jesus. We had a problem with the dishwasher and reported one day and he came along with a new one the day after...such good service. He also welcomed us with the essentials, i.e. Wine, Water, fruit and Olive Oil, what more could we need! We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this villa and will almost certainly be going again in the future.

We have been staying in villas for over 15 years and we believe this is the best we have stayed in.

The owner of the villa is a role model to how things should be done. Because the villa is not easy to find he met us at a local garage then lead us to the villa and gave us a tour. During our stay we had a small problem with the garage door key and the pool light failed, which we text the owner about and he was there the next day with a replacement and fixed the light. Great customer service. We have been staying in villas around the world for over 15 years and we believe this is the best we have ever stayed in. Everything has been thought about. The description of the villa is not a testament to how good it is. Things not mentioned, the villa has a very large garage which could accommodate 3 cars easily. Small thing but cars get very hot in the sun. There is also an Xbox and table tennis in the garage. Outside the pool is ample and the area benefits from an Ice box and an exterior electric fridge behind the outside bar. The shaded area is really great as well for those that can’t stay in the sun all day. Inside the villa was very clean and everything is catered for. The local village is about 20 minutes walk away but not for the faint hearted. It’s a very steep hill into the village but if you can make it you will be rewarded with lovely restaurants in a beautiful setting. I can guarantee that we will be using this place again next time we visit the area. Very happy.

Magnificas vacaciones en esta casa

Desde el principio de la reserva muy buena la comunicacion con el propietario y muy bien informados por su parte. La casa esta en una colina a las afueras de las tantas colinas de torrox pueblo ya que, la costa esta a 4km, aunque por algunas cuestas se llega andando al pueblo. Pero, la casa con su zona de terraza con barbacoa, nevera y piscina lo merece. La casa tiene de todo como aparece en las fotos(amplio garaje, 4hab algunas con baño y ac). Sin duda, lo que mejor valoraria es las facilidades que ofrece su propietario y sin necesidad de un check in/out por el sistema numerico de apertura de la casa y su ubicacion cercana para visitar los pueblos tambien magnificos del alrededor. PD: HEMOS DISFRUTADO MUCHO!!MUCHAS GRACIAS

Casa para disfrutar en familia

Casa grande la parte de la piscina muy bien y tiene un buen mirador terraza que se ve todo el paisaje y el mar donde hemos estado la mayor parte del tiempo, buena para repetir en otra ocasión.

Casa rural torrox

Hemos disfrutado mucho de la casa. Tanto la situación como la vivienda está super equipada. El pueblo está a 1 km y hay de todo. La relacion calidad-precio muy buena y Jesús el casero lo pone todo muy fácil. Esperamos repetir otro año

No te arrepentirás

La casa es magnífica, grande limpia y equipada a tope, el garaje con juegos, la piscina con chorros y sobre todo el mirador donde cenar junto a la barbacoa... un lujo. El propietario se portó fenomenal. El primer día le comunicamos que el tostador no funcionaba mas que nada para dejar constancia que ya estaba así y por la tarde ya nos envió uno nuevo y nos regaló una bolsa de aguacates de su finca. Ojalá no estuviéramos a 600 kms para poder ir de vez en cuando.

Durante la semana que hemos estado en este alojamiento , mi familia y yo nos hemos sentido muy cómodos en cuanto a limpieza y entorno de la casa . Los dueños muy agradables por lo que les doy las gracias desde aquí , esperamos volver en próximos años.

Sans hésitation !

Déjà, excellent accueil des propriétaires. La maison est très bien située. A 5 minutes de la plage et des commerces, elle est perchée sur un petit mont facile d'accès. Le panorama sur Torrox, la mer et les alentours est un régal. L'endroit est particulièrement calme. Concernant l'équipement, le confort général etc, rien à dire de plus que les autres commentaires... c'est juste parfait. Notez qu'il y a le wifi... Nous avons passé un excellent séjours. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Prima Haus

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit dem Haus. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet (vom Waschmittel über Gewürze und Super Grill) hat einen schönen Ausblick und eine Riesen (!) Garage in die man sich bei zuviel Sonne flüchten kann und Tischtennis etc spielen kann... falls man nicht die Zeit im und um den Pool verbringt. Unsere Kinder waren begeistert! Empfehlenswert!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à la Villa Padial. La maison est bien équipée et très propre. Nous pouvons loger plusieurs personnes et la cour et la piscine sont des plus agréables. Jesus est toujours tres disponible pour les clients. Nous recommandons cette villa sans hésiter.

Very nice house for a quiet and relaxing holiday

The house is as described and like the available photos a very nice house in andalusian style in a quiet location. The road to Torrox Pueblo is a bit difficult but also with stroller walking possible. However, it is advisable to have a rental car during your stay. Small problems with the equipment were very quickly resolved so that we could spend beautiful 4 weeks. Additional equipment such as new sunbeds and children's toys (for pool, beach, etc) are sufficiently available. Internet was available via an UMTS surf stick for the entire stay. The UMTS signal is sufficiently, so the access to the internet for the holidays is more than plenty. I can recommend the house to everyone without reservation and I am sure that everyone will spend a great holiday. Special Thanks to Jesus and his parents, who made this possible for us... We´ll come back!!!

Ferien mit 2 Golden Retriever

Das Haus ist sehr abgelegen, die Strasse zum Haus ist sehr eng und steil. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, man könnte ein paar Sachen ersetzen, wie zum Beispiel die Pfannen, denn die waren fast alle unbrauchbar und die Liegestühle waren auch kaputt und nicht sehr gemütlich. Ohne Auto wäre es kompliziert. Einkaufen, zum Strand, etc. Jesus ist sehr nett, auch seine Mutter, die uns immer wieder frische Früchte vor die Türe gelegt hatte und sogar ein Abschiedsgeschenk. Unsere 2 Golden Retriever haben sich auch wohlgefühlt. Schade, dass an den Stränden Hunde verboten sind. Es hat einen Hundestrand in Torrox und auch in der näheren Umgebung, die sind aber alle sehr schmutzig. da wollten wir nicht hin. Wir sind dann trotzdem mit den Hunden an den Strand in Torrox, aber ein bisschen abgelegen, wo keine Liegestühle waren, hin. Im grossen und ganzem hatten wir keine Probleme mit den Leuten, nur 2 Mal wollten uns Spanier bei der Polizei melden. An der Promenade in Torrox hat es viele Restaurants und bei den meisten konnten wir mit unseren Hunden draussen etwas trinken und essen.
