Nice facility. Virtually no direct contact with property management. Location a little isolated. Uber/taxi required to go anywhere. Very few if you could find anyone to speak English. Beach and ocean activity none existent. Though not part of the VRBO, the Pearl Club and its store offered very little in service and/or products.

Lovely Stay

I had the pleasure of renting a beautiful oceanview unit through Vrbo with my family, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the incredible super host, Melissa. From the moment we inquired about the property, Melissa was incredibly prompt in responding to all our questions and concerns. And trust me, we had a lot of them! Her responsiveness and attentiveness made the booking process smooth and hassle-free. She went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Upon arrival at the property, we were greeted by the friendly and helpful front desk staff. Their warm welcome immediately set the tone for our vacation. They assisted us with check-in efficiently and provided valuable information about the resort and its amenities. Now, let's talk about the unit itself. It was absolutely breathtaking! The oceanview was simply stunning, and we were in awe of the picturesque scenery from the moment we stepped inside. The unit was clean, well-maintained, and had all the comforts of home. In summary, our vacation experience with Melissa as our Vrbo super host and the beautiful oceanview unit was outstanding. Her prompt communication and willingness to answer our questions made the booking process a breeze. The friendly and helpful front desk staff added to the positive experience. And of course, the breathtaking view from the unit made our stay unforgettable.

Wonderful hosts, super view!

Melissa is a super host for a reason. Very responsive! The condo was awesome! We spent a month in Panama and loved every minute of our stay. The view is unparalleled as the condo overlooks the Bay of Panama and the entrance to the Canal, is surrounded by protected jungle, and also provides peaks of the city skyline. The building is very well managed…and they had their challenges during Covid. Loved the pool! We will be back!

Great condo and hosts

After a few initial hiccups regarding the rate and reservation, I had a great stay. The condo was exactly as advertised -- clean, well-kept/appointed. Melissa, Kleriston, and Moses were terrific hosts--extremely responsive and very communicative addressing every question and/or concern.

A week in Panama

Property exactly as described. Comfortable, quiet, great views of the ships waiting to enter Canal, nicely appointed kitchen & washer/dryer. Nice health club in building and nearby in Pearl Club. Enjoyed swimming laps in the pool everyday. The only drawback....which are not really!....a little away from everything requiring a car or Uber ( Ubers are cheap; that is also the upside....its quiet). You can get anywhere easily and we felt like we knew the contours of Panama City by weeks end with a quiet refuge at the end of the day. The only other thing....the beach is nice to look at but due to tides....not much swimming. The property manager was easy to contact and was quick to respond with useful info in real time. We would go back!...in a minute

Lovely condo with great views. The condo is well equipped. We really enjoyed the Pearl Club.

It would be helpful if the front desk at Casa Bonita spoke English. The food at the Westin was fair and service was slow.

ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING VIEW!!!

I had an amazing stay here!! Me and a friend stayed for 6 days and we were not disappointed with the property and amenities! The view is the most breathtaking panoramic view that I’ve seen in a long time, and I looked forward to waking up every day and just taking it all in. The staff at the front desk was always pleasant and welcoming, and our host was also gracious. There was almost nothing that we had to contact her about, and it made for a relaxing stay. It was awesome to be able to walk next door to the Westin and utilize their pools and restaurants, but the local food in the city stole our hearts. The only hiccup was the construction that they were doing on the property that woke me up from a nap a couple times, but I think it was due to the earthquake they had before we came, so it in no way gave me any bad feelings about this property. I would come and stay again in a heartbeat, I miss the view already!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Enjoyed staying at the Casa Bonita for a week on the 19th floor. View were awesome! Condo had very good air conditioning and everything was very well organized. Would recommend stay at this location if you like to taste Panama life while being able to relax in country setting. Also have the Westin Playa next store for meals was a plus. Blessings

Fantastic Destination

Waking up in this condo was an incredible treat! Sunrise Perfection!! Panama City, Bridge of the Americas, Biodiversity Museum, mouth of the Canal, ships lining up, islands, beach, jungle....this unit views it all. Fully furnished and equipped with all you could want (beds are awesome!). Casa Bonita itself is a polished class act for sure, with super friendly staff and all I can say about the property management is WOW!! Melissa and her husband Kleristan are two of the friendliest, most accommodating people we have ever met on a vacation. The restaurants and amenities at the Westin Hotel adjoining the Casa Bonita property were all very good and made for great evenings. Located just a short ride outside the city, we found this place to be a great spot to day trip from and see all the beauty that is Panama!!

Fabulous property AND managers!

My wife and I just got back from a first trip to Panama. We stayed in two different apartments in Casa Bonita, (a long story, to be sure!) a beautiful high rise condo which shares facilities with a Westin and an Intercontinental at Playa Bonita. We were traveling with friends and we all enjoyed the many amenities available to guests, including use of the PoolClub, several swimming pools, the beach, two gyms, sauna, hot tub, etc., etc. The views from our private terrace of the Pacific and the ships exiting and waiting to enter the Canal were amazing. In fact, the views from each and every room were just as grand. We were on floors 13 and 19. The units were both well appointed and comfortable. What made the stay even better was Melissa, the property manager. She was very easy to work with in arranging the rental and very attentive, available and accommodating when we arrived. Her husband, a personal trainer who does sessions in the 25th floor gym, was an absolute delight, quick to smile and very positive in a low-key way. The bridge over the Canal into the city proper is a short drive from Playa Bonita. Except for rush hour, when you don't want to be going in or out of the city, the old city and the new first world waterfront are a fifteen to twenty minute drive or available by taxi if you don't want to rent a car. We really enjoyed being out of the city for the peace and quiet and the amenities offered, yet were close enough to enjoy what the city had to offer. And you couldn't ask for better hosts than these property managers.

Sunrise over the Pacific!

Yes, a bit disorienting, but from the 19th floor condo we rented at Casa Bonita the sun rose over the Pacific. we were two mature couples traveling together and lucky enough to stay at this beautiful apartment high above the Pacific and the entrance to the Panama Canal. Morning coffee on the terrace was a real treat. The Panamanian "eagles" (a.k.a. buzzards) actually glided in the air currents below us as we watched ships exiting the Canal and others awaiting their turn to enter. The facilities available to us as short term renters were amazing: pools, gyms, a day spa, sauna, hot tub, and several restaurants, not to mention the beach with kayaks and paddle boards. The city and the canal visitors' center were just a short drive away for the days we ventured out. The amenities in the unit were high end and comfortable, flat screen tv, wifi, etc., and the property manager was a delight. She was easy to deal with initially and was very available and cooperative while we were there. If I were returning to the area, I would look no further.

Stunning!!

From the moment we got into the Condo there was one thing that came to mind as we were encompassed with views all around.."Stunning!!" At the mouth of the Panama Canal we saw ships, the beach, the city, rain forest, and mountains. All this of course from a bird's eye view. The place was immaculately clean and our host and hostess were friendly to boot. Being only 15 min. outside the city gave us the convenience of quick access to nightlife and shopping yet the serenity of being in a far off place when we didn't fee like being bothered. On site were restaurants and bars, pools and a DAY SPA!! That we made use of almost everyday. Trust me this is your place to stay.

Fabulous Accommodations

We had an amazing time in Panama. The apartment was simply wonderful -- we enjoyed staying in a large, beautifully decorated apartment with gorgeous views of the bay and ships waiting to enter the canal. In the evening, the side terrace was perfect for enjoying dinner and drinks, with a lovely view of the rainforest. The building had every amenity we could need -- a rooftop pool, playground for the kids, gameroom, Jacuzzi. It was just perfect. We also loved walking on the beach, swimming in the beachfront pools, and collecting shells. We were able to get to Panama City quite easily, just a 15 minute cab ride in most cases. We couldn't have wished for anything more -- this place was perfect.
