Moderna, llena de luz Condo, siempre con vistas norte, oeste y sur!

El piso de ventanales en la planta 16 se lavará la sala, comedor y dormitorio frente a la luz. Hay dos baños completos, con uno de ellos "en suite" con el dormitorio principal. El televisor de pantalla plana en la sala de estar es un poco más grande que el de la habitación principal y de alta velocidad inalámbrico a Internet está incluido. Aunque, con las increíbles vistas no muchas personas ven la televisión! El patio tiene una mesa de comedor para cuatro y dos sillas de club, hay un montón de espacio exterior para pasar el rato y disfrutar de la vista. Dos plazas de aparcamiento en tándem están en un garaje en el lugar seguro.

Esta es nuestra casa y la remodeló para nosotros, por lo que esperamos que sea tratada así. El mobiliario es Restoration Hardware, personalizado, Crate and Barrel, y alojamiento y comida, por lo que no se reparó en gastos - que estamos buscando clientes que son meticulosos y agradecido.

El edificio cuenta con bañera de un tejado caliente, grandes barbacoas, sillas y mesas para reuniones más grandes. También hay un gimnasio en el segundo piso.

La parada de tranvía de abajo te lleva tan lejos como Tijuana hacia el sur y hacia fuera a la Universidad Estatal de San Diego hacia el Este, con paradas en Fashion Valley para ir de compras, el casco antiguo de San Diego para la cultura y la historia y Qualcomm para los partidos de fútbol en el medio.

Dentro de un paseo de 15 minutos usted puede estar en el ferry a Coronado, en cualquiera de los restaurantes más populares y clubes de la Gaslamp, en el Petco Park para un juego de pelota, en el Centro de Convenciones en Comicon, en el Museo del Aire y del Espacio de Balboa Park o pequeño Italia por auténtica comida italiana.

Dentro de unos pocos de los bloques es Hodad de hamburguesas, Vaquero para filetes, Pokez para la comida vegetariana mexicano y Cafe Chloe para el mejor Mac-n-Cheese alrededor.

Beautiful condo! Amazing views! Wonderful experience!

We absolutely enjoyed our week stay stay. The condo was beautiful, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Located within walking distance to everything. The fabulous views from the condo show approximately 3/4 of downtown San Diego. I loved walking on the large balcony and looking at the downtown skyline throughout the day and night. Wonderful experience.

Smart Corner Paradise!

I wanted to write and let you know how much my wife and I appreciated the opportunity to stay in your San Diego Condo once again.....following your extensive renovation it was even better than last year. As you know this is the eighth year we have rented in San Diego during this time-frame. We were thrilled that we could come back to your East Village condo because it is our favorite place to stay in San Diego. The changes since last year were amazing: new tile floors and walk-in master shower, expanded closet space, new quartz countertops, KitchenAid appliances, a memory foam king size bed and new living room and dining room furniture, two large screen smart HDTVs with DVRs.! You've really outdone yourself! From the moment you walk in you are in awe of the magnificent views. The location is great! From the condo to the heart of the city or even the bay is just 10 or 15 minutes on foot. The condo is so roomy and the beds are upscale hotel quality. We treasured having not one but two parking spaces. That made having friends and family over so convenient and really it sets the unit apart from many others in the East Village/Gaslamp districts. Thank you for making it once again making it a great month! Hope we can come back soon!

Our favorite East Village condo!

I wanted to write and let you know how much my wife and I appreciated the opportunity to stay in your San Diego Condo for the last month. As you know this is the seventh year we have rented in San Diego during this time-frame. While five of those years we enjoyed the same East Village condo we both agree that your condo was our best experience ever! From the moment you walk in you are in awe of the magnificent views. Every time we came "home" we just took in the view and smiled at each other. The location is great! From the condo to the heart of the city or even the bay is just 10 or 15 minutes on foot. It was four minutes to our grandchildren's school which was a huge win! The condo is so comfortable...the layout is roomy and the beds were upscale hotel quality. We used the rooftop hot tub and it was great to cook out with the rooftop views. Having rented so many times we really appreciated the small touches like the amount of towels and dishes. There was no need to constantly spend time washing like you do in places that skimp. We treasured having not one but two parking spaces. That made having friends and family over so convenient and really it sets the unit apart from many others in the East Village/Gaslamp districts. Thank you for making everything so easy for us through the whole rental process and stay!

Gorgeous condo in Downtown San Diego!

This gorgeous condo offers fabulous living space inside and out! It is beautifully designed with luxurious finishes and high end modern furnishings throughout. The city views from the wall to wall glass in the main living areas is really wonderful. The condo has a fabulous gourmet kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need, a beautiful dining and living area, comfortable beds, a designated work space, nice bathrooms, and a spacious balcony with plenty of seating for enjoying coffee in the mornings, and drinks/snacks while viewing the sunset in the evenings. The building provides very secure underground parking, a fantastic gym, and beautiful rooftop deck for entertaining, barbecues, outdoor lounging and dining spaces perfect for enjoying spectacular views of the city. Laura was a wonderful host who checked in on us often. She was always pleasant and easy to communicate with. The only negative experience we had was concerning the city noise at night and issues with homelessness in the downtown area (both to be somewhat expected when staying in most any downtown area, but something to be aware of). That being said, we still very much enjoyed our stay at Laura's condo. She is a gracious host and her place was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable.

Smart Corner condo was a great vacation

We stayed for 5 weeks to escape the Arizona heat. The condo is lovely, furnished comfortably and very clean. The building lobby, elevators, rooftop and gym were always clean too. The views are spectaular especially at night. We got Senior $18. montlhy passes for the MTS (bus & trolley system) and rarely used our car. I only cooked 3 dinners the entire time, but the kitchen was nicely equipped for our breakfast or lunches. There's just so many wonderful restaurants a short ride away in Little Italy, Old Town, Gaslamp and along the waterfront why bother? This is a City Center building so expect some street noise, but we never heard a peep from any neighbors. Across the street is a large green space to walk your pup if you have a pet. We would return.

6 stars! Everything was perfect.

We love San Diego and have stayed at various hotels/rentals in and around it. Our experience at Laura's condo was the BEST so far! The location right in the middle of downtown was perfect because we were walking distance from so many attractions (Balboa Park, Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village, etc), and if we didn't want to walk, the MTS trolley was literally at our doorstep to take us anywhere in the city. There were 2 parking spaces available in the underground garage which was very convenient for this location. The size of the condo is HUGE, especially compared to other lodging options. Everything was super clean, and very well appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, living room, etc including a washer/dryer. The view from our private balcony overlooking downtown was AMAZING with views of downtown, the Coronado bridge, and the Del. We used the rooftop hot tub every day and it was wonderful to relax in. We also enjoyed the BBQ and lounge area on the roof with even more amazing views of the city. Everything we needed for a perfect BBQ was in the condo kitchen (except the meat). Laura, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to deal with from beginning to end of our stay at this wonderful condo. We highly recommend and hope to return again soon.

Modern comfort and style

The property has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The views are amazing and the building is very secure. Common area ammenities like the rooftop hot tub and grilling area definitely added enjoyment to our stay. Easy and convenient access to trolley, freeways and walking to downtown hotspots. Laura makes the check in process very easy and does a walk through of the property and building with you. Book the property for your next stay you won't be disappointed!

The pictures tell the tale of this condo. If you are seeking a comfortable, pleasant, safe, secure urban experience as we were, this is the place for you. We enjoyed our morning coffee and newspaper on the deck above the bustle and the noises of a busy city waking up. The furnishings are sleek, attractive, unfussy and durable. The night time city noise can be shut out simply by closing the door and windows and we slept very well on the comfortable beds. The front bedroom with its treehouse ambiance was a favorite place to relax with a good book and, of course, to marvel at the killer views. I would definitely like to return next summer.

Fabulous stay for the month of june

First off, Laura was a great host and this was my first time staying in San Diego...which was amazing. The condo was exactly as advertised and looked just like it's pictures. The views lived up to the hype and having two bedrooms and bathrooms was ideal. The location makes it easy to walk everywhere in downtown and you definitely get a true city vibe. It's a busy corner with the station down below so there's never a dull moment. I'd definitely stay here again!

Business trip

My colleagues and I were very comfortable in this well kept rental with spectacular views. We were able to walk to balboa park, the museums and the zoo. Laura greeted promptly and her attention to details kept everything perfect for our stay. We will stay with her again next year for the art fair. Some nice pieces of art in the mix as well.

very pleasant

We rented for 10 days in late Oct. The condo looked just as in the photos. It was so full of light. Everything was clean and cleaning supplies and laundry detergent were on hand. The wireless and aircon were great. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. I definitely appreciated the collection of tupperware for packing snacks for my child. The only thing missing was a teapot. The bed was comfortable but I did have to improvise some dark curtains in the master bedroom because I like it pitch dark. All the windows are floor to ceiling so the view is wonderful but even with the lights out there is quite a bit of city light at night. We had a bit of a hiccup with the parking cards but we somehow mixed them up which made the parking system lock us out. The attendant eventually explained what was going on. We used the bbq on the rooftop once. The views are lovely up there. Didn't get to try the hot tub. We didn't hear much street noise on the 16th floor. The building is in a somewhat sketchy area. We're from downtown Vancouver so we are familiar with urban homelessness and no one bothered us. However, if you are not used to panhandling or people sleeping rough you might find the area a bit daunting at night. The condo itself felt very secure. You can easily walk to the Gaslamp district in 15 min and we used the trolley and bus a handful of times. The station is right outside the building. It is also easy to get onto the freeway from the condo. We didn't eat at too many places right near the condo but Donut Bar is yummy. Laura was very helpful and available on email or over the phone.

After living in San Diego for twenty years, my husband took a job in Orange County, which is about an hour North of San Diego. We sadly sold our house and moved, but not before buying this wonderful condo on the 16th floor of the Smart Corner Complex.
Now, it feels like we are on the best holiday. We enjoy our coffee on the patio looking at our favorite city and entertain our many friends in San Diego like we did when we lived here in a single family home.

This location and floor placement means we get 230 degree views and can see the Coronado Bridge, Hotel Del Coronado, Santa Fe Train Depot, watch the planes fly into Lindbergh Field and see the dome of The Museum of Man to the north. Amtrak is just a short walk and can take us to Orange County, Los Angeles and other points north of us.

Why this property? Because it is NOT your typical furnished rental, it has custom furnishings, high end materials, and feels like a true home that was designed for style and comfort.
