¿Estás pensando en alquilar tu propio pedazo de paraíso en una isla privada? Vaya a esta tranquila cabaña privada de la isla con su propio bote, ya que solo tiene acceso al agua.
East Island tiene unas vistas espectaculares y la tranquilidad y el ambiente para unas vacaciones relajantes, divertidas y agradables.

Ubicado a las afueras de Sans Souci, en las aguas cristalinas de Spider Bay, parte de la Reserva de la Biosfera de la Bahía de Georgia, designada por la Unesco, en 2004. La isla se encuentra a 30 minutos al sur de Parry Sound en bote, a solo 10 minutos del restaurante de pescado Henry's, y es una de las 30,000 islas. La cabaña tiene capacidad para 5 personas cómodamente con todas las comodidades modernas.

La moderna cabaña de 840 pies cuadrados cuenta con 2 habitaciones con 2 camas queen, cocina, sala de estar y baño / lavandería. El sofá se convierte en una cama doble. La cocina está equipada con refrigerador, estufa eléctrica, horno de microondas, tostadora, cafetera y está equipada con todos los platos, cristalería, ollas y sartenes y cubiertos. Awesome experience! Many magical natural moments to enjoy!

Highly recommended for the nature lover who wants to get away from it all and enjoy the quiet tranquility of a private island. The hosts/owners are very welcoming and ensure your stay is comfortable and complete.The only bad thing was that we had to leave!

*Truly Incredible *

It is hard to find words to describe our stay on the Island. It was truly one of the best vacations we have ever had, wonderful, incredible, magical.. My fiance and I stayed on the island for 4 nights. We are from Manhattan, so we were looking for a vacation that felt peaceful and far away from "reality". We both were ready and prepared for the island experience to be a bit "campy" given that it is an island, in a remote area.. However it couldnt have been farther from this. It felt like a 5 star experience with luxury accommodations but still maintaining its cottage integrity. The attention to detail that the owners Maureen and Max have for the cottage is remarkable. Not only was the cottage and grounds so well maintained, all the other small added details made our stay even better. Things such as the option of heat or air conditioning in the bedroom, nice bedding/sheets with a down comforter, room darkening shades if desired, fully supplied kitchen with everything in working condition, nice hand soaps, fresh fluffy bath towels, strategically placed fly swatters around the grounds if needed, accessible water hoses near the kayak/beach area, perfectly clean spotless outdoor Weber grill, clean and pre-set temperature hot tub, swimming noodles, two amazing huge docks with a swimming ladder, I mean EVERY single detail you could think that you would want seemed like it was right there sitting next to you when you needed it. As for the Island its self, there really is nothing like it. You can watch the sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset all in one day on this island. Where else can you experience all of this?? Each hour on the island was different and we moved all around the island according to the time of day. We would watch the sunrise on one side with coffee, and the sunset on the other side with a glass of wine. I swam and read on the dock most of the day while my fiance fished and kept himself busy. The water is so clean its almost strange, I have never seen such clean fresh clear water, it makes for amazing swimming. There are loons that appear all through out the day that come say "hello", they sing and flap around, they are beautiful and majestic. At night you can see every star in the sky, and hear owls hooting in the distance. We even got to see a very friendly large bull-frog and a cute little mink running around. All in all, I can report that this is TRULY SPECIAL and MAGICAL place <3

East Island is an amazing place to get relax

Stunning Island with Spacious cottage on Spider Bay. Open Concept, Great Rooms, Big Bright Windows that has 180 degree view to the water, and the favorite hot tub with an over view to the bay. Wonderful place to get relax and 100% recommended.

Beautiful property!! Exceeded our expectations. Maureen and Max make sure that you you feel at home. The instructions and little notes here and there helped out a lot. Plus, they were just a phone call away if needed. You can tell that they put a lot of heart into this property. We feel privileged to have stayed there. The kitchen is fully stocked, utensils, pots and pans, spices, napkins, etc. The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels. The water is drinkable. There’s electricity, cell service, satellite tv. I recommend this property for couples who want a getaway to reconnect or take a break from the kids and get some peace and quiet. There is room for four people so going there with friends would be ideal too. The views are incredible. We took many pictures. The only thing we would change is to have booked a longer stay. 4 days was not enough.

Little paradise

We loved our few days away in the Huber’s paradise. Although on an island you are still close to parry sound. The cottage and island is beautiful and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely want to go back Would highly recommend!!

A true island oasis on the Georgian Bay!

I went into my stay at Max and Maureen's island with high expectations (the existing reviews on here set the bar very high) and somehow my experience STILL exceeded those expectations! Every single detail of the property from big to small has been clearly and carefully thought out and arranged so as to provide the best experience possible for guests. The cottage itself was immaculately cleaned (I was expecting "cottage clean" but we're talking surgically clean here) and appeared exactly as described and pictured. My girlfriend and I were especially impressed by how well-stocked the kitchen was as there wasn't a single moment over the course of our stay where we couldn't find an accessory that we needed. All the appliances feel up-to-date and work perfectly! The island is a perfect size for a small group and has a multitude of hangout spots that provide plenty of different options for kicking back and looking out across the bay. The table and chairs area on the secondary dock is an absolutely perfect morning coffee spot, and the hot tub area quickly became a favourite as well. Beyond all the wonderful features and comforts, one of the best parts of the island was just how still and serene it was. We were there in September and enjoyed near-perfect silence for the entirety of a 3-night stay. The sounds that we did hear - morning loon calls, other various wildlife ambience and the occasional passing-by of a boat were more than welcome. By night, the stars come out in full force and the moon shines off the lake in a way that's right out of a movie! Start to finish this was the most impressive and enjoyable rental property stay that I've ever had and and I sincerely hope to make it back out there next season. Don't think twice about booking here if you're looking for a perfect escape from the city with all the comforts of home and all the beauty of Northern Ontario in one great package!

Beautiful island retreat

We knew we would enjoy our time in Georgian Bay because it is such a beautiful place to begin with, but we were thrilled to arrive at this gorgeous spot. Maureen and Max have created an oasis, with places to sit, relax, play and enjoy the island all around the property. The cottage is very clean and neat, and the view out the main windows is amazing, especially during a storm. We have booked for next year and can't wait to return.

This remarkable island gem is a private piece of paradise on pristine Georgian Bay

Less than 1/2 hour boat ride from Parry Sound, East Island provides the perfect balance of getting away from it all without being too remote. The owners have made every effort to respect and maintain the natural flora and fauna while providing easy access across the whole property. You can always find a gentle breeze on some area of the island which keeps the bugs at minimum. A variety of outdoor sitting areas allow for all types of conditions; sun and shade, sheltered and exposed. A beautifully maintained sandy beach allows gentle access into the bay while jumping in off the dock accommodates the more adventurous swimmers. The water is crystal clear. A hot tub overlooking the bay is a relaxing option on the cooler days. Two kayaks are provided to explore the multiple arms of Spider Bay at a leisurely pace. The two, well-built docks can accommodate any type of watercraft and afford excellent fishing. A well equipped kitchen allows you to bring no equipment with you for preparing meals. Three large picture windows along one wall of the simple, open-concept cottage allow an exceptional view of spider bay even on a rainy day when you may choose to stay indoors. This has become our family's favourite place to vacation. It is an awesome holiday retreat with exceptional owners who are attentive, yet non-intrusive. Thank-you Max and Maureen for sharing East Island with us. It is true cottage living at its best!

Beautiful Island, fantastic cottage!

This island is well appointed with a beautiful cottage and magnificent views of Spider Bay. Max and Maureen are truly wonderful people and a pleasure to work with. They were kind enough to take me out on the bay for a boat ride when we met at the island. They both went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I will be going back to East Island again, and again. Thank you!

Impeccable!

What can I say? The cottage, the island, the amenities - it's all perfect! It was a spectacular vacation and perfect for my pooch too! Having Max taxi us to and from the island was an exceptional experience. Maureen and Max were very accommodating and are great people! Can't wait to go back!

Perfect Georgian Bay Island

My husband and I thoroughly appreciated the location, size, amenities and charm of East Island. Maureen and Max keep an immaculate cottage and island, with many little corners of the island to enjoy. The dockage was fabulous for our 39 ft boat and dinghy. We also enjoyed the kayaks, hot tub and cottage provisions. One never tires of the views, changing breezes and birds that visit the island and waters. We hope to return in 2017. Thank you for a wonderful escape!

Outstanding!

Had an amazing, relaxing week at East Island with my wife and two children. Maureen and Max were excellent hosts, very responsive and welcoming. It's hard to describe just how picturesque this place is. Big views to the southwest, always changing and full of everything the Bay has to offer. The accommodations were perfect; clean, comfortable and still very much a cottage. Outside, there's a plethora of places to relax and eat meals, for every wind condition, and every time of day or night. The small beach at the lee of the island is perfect for young swimmers. I would have no trouble at all recommending this rental.

We retired from busy city life a few years ago, and moved into a rural setting outside of Barrie, Ont. Closer to our cottage, and a slower pace of life. That's better.
