This cottage is beautifully finished with every amenity you could want. The owner was responsive and helpful. We had a great time and this site was perfect for older family members as well as younger families.

We had a wonderful time at this vacation home. The house was clean, spacious and provided everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. We especially loved the outdoors, sitting with a book, enjoying happy discussions around a fire or getting a break in the hot tub. Check in was smooth and the host was responsive to our questions. A place I would recommend.

Beautiful, updated modern spacious cottage close to Perry sound and minutes from the beach

Amazing Stay at the Cottage in Carling, Ontario Our family had an unforgettable getaway at this beautiful cottage just 15 minutes outside of Parry Sound, in Carling, Ontario, from August 30 to September 2. The property exceeded our expectations in every way! The cottage was equipped with all the modern amenities we needed, including a spacious kitchen, comfortable living area, and high-speed Wi-Fi, making it feel like a home away from home. The highlight for us was the luxurious hot tub and sauna, which provided the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was always at the perfect temperature, and the sauna added a special touch of tranquility to our stay. Another bonus was its fantastic location—just a quick two-minute drive to stunning sandy beaches! We loved being able to enjoy a day by the water and then retreat to the peaceful, cozy atmosphere of the cottage. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a serene and luxurious escape near Parry Sound. We can’t wait to return! -- are needed!

Review

Was not ready (i.e. cleaned) for the scheduled time due to a power failure. Once the place was cleaned, we were only refunded a portion of what was owed to us (60% of the fee). When we finally gained access to the property, the place was not clean. There was dirt and hair everywhere, mold in the washing machine, and dishes were dirty. The owner claimed all of this was "normal" and unwilling to address the issues identified. Furthermore, there was old food left from previous tenants which we were required to dispose of, and no towels provided. The front door difficult to lock and the back door lock was broken which required us to bring our personal belongings with us during the day. Nice area would do well under proper management. I recommend this property be removed from listings until the owner can bring it to suitable living conditions, or drop the price significantly.
