Hay 200 pies de frente a lo largo de la pista Flintlock para ser visto. El sal��������n tambi��n cuenta con una maravillosa chimenea de ladrillo, un sof������� cama, muebles acogedores y puertas que dan a una terraza con parrilla de gas y pistas de esqu�����������������������������. We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Mountainview. The house was comfortable, well equipped, and being able to ski in/ski out right from the house was such an amazing feature. What is most notable is how responsive, knowledgeable, and patient the staff at BPLA were. We had a bunch of questions and they responded within minutes. We are so appreciative of them - a model for what good customer service looks like!

Disappointing

Properyy felt dirty with old stained carpeting and outside picture of house made it look newer then it was on the inside.Bedrooms were cold because thermostat was upstairs. Would not be my first choice when I go back to Michigan.

Mountain View - Great On-Slope Option at BP

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Obviously, given my review below, Mountain View was a good on-slope option for myself and my family. We have been coming to BP off and on for 40+ years. Unfortunately, skiing Snow River and Whitecap while staying on slope at BP is a huge disappointment. Especially when the snow was really good. I bring my nieces and nephews which can be beginners that are very interested in their first experience on the slopes. To have the whole resort shut down with abundant snow is disturbing. Other hills were open partially, why not BP?I have also been disappointed in the last few years that covid has shut down shuttle service. It would be nice to have a meal at the lodge without having to drive. Is BP ever going back to shuttle service? If not, then don't show as an accommodation.

Very cute clean place, but hot water can be a prob

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay here and had a really fun time. The living room upstairs is so cute and really well spaced. It was very clean and we weren’t worried about covid as the house was well distanced from others. Enough space for outdoor, beautiful patio. All amenities were great, kitchen was nice too. Only issue was hot water. Both mornings we had to call someone to fix it. Water was quite chilly, and hot water would stop working every morning. In covid we weren’t happy to call someone over everytime to get it fixed. There were some of us who ended up taking shower in the really chilly water that too when it was in 50s outside. But they gave us a real late checkout due to these issues which we were really happy about.

We went sledding and our 2 Bernese Mountain dogs had the time of their lives. Of course, they absolutely loved the snow and the cold. The colder, the better for them! The staff was attentive to any questions and alway fast to reply. The kitchen in the house is extremely well stocked which is much appreciated!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our small group of friends had so much fun at this cabin. There were enough beds for everyone to be comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with any appliance/utensil you might need (there were 2 crock pots!). We even used the grill on the back deck one night. Flintlock trail was steps away from this cabin and was perfect for people to come and go as they please. The sauna was great after a long day on the hill. We needed a few extra essentials that were dropped off in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend staying at this cabin!

Besides skiing we worked on some puzzles they have which was fun and went to the swimming pool at the caribou- pool tip that we were not told about - you need to pick up your pool towels at the lodging office!

Great UP location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This ski lodge is located right on the Big Powderhorn ski hill. Getting out to the hill is literally 25 feet away, it's location is perfect for skiers. Warming up, lunch, etc was easy with this place. We had two families of 4 stay here, the kids fit nicely in the bedroom with the bunk beds and the parents each had a decent sized room. The great thing about this place is that the large upstairs living area/kitchen is completely separate from the bedrooms which are all downstairs. Anyone that wanted to go to bed early had no problem doing so. A lot of these type places have lofts or bedrooms right next to the living area where that is hard to do. The snow was great and the skiing was fantastic. We ventured into town one night for dinner, although Hurley was very busy we found a very nice spot to have dinner in Bessemer in a fairly remote area called Jagger's, which I would also highly recommend. the bathrooms are old but everything functioned fine and the heat was a bit tricky to figure out right away but once we did we were perfectly fine. The fireplace upstairs was very nice to warm up quickly. We would definitely come back.

Perfect winter family cottage!

This VRBO was a perfect size & location for a weekend of skiing in Michigan! The property is very clean and has everything that you need for the weekend! We loved the location and will be sure to come back again when the area has even more snow! Thanks to the owners for a very nice welcome and beautiful property!

Peaceful, convenient location

Our group of 7 stayed here for our summer family vacation. The house was very comfortable in a very peaceful and relaxing setting. It was so conveniently located to explore and partake in many activities, from biking on the Manitowish Waters trail, kayaking on Giles Flowage, swimming at Sunday Lake and hiking Presque Isle, Black River Harbor Rec Area, Lake of the Clouds and Copper Falls. We looked forward to returning to the house after a full day of fun. It was absolutely perfect!

1 hour away from Porcupine Mountain hiking trails. Groceries and gas nearby. Hot showers, very comfortable upstairs living room. This house felt luxurious after a day on the trails. Television was a little hard to figure out but we connected lap top via our own HMI cable.
