Poleski es una hermosa casa de vacaciones moderna construida en el verano de 2007. Con sus enormes ventanas de la fachada de cristal, tiene una vista impresionante de la pista de esquí. Esta casa es perfecta para una familia de tamaño medio o varias parejas y los perros se les permite! Ofrece una sala de juegos en el nivel inferior con un futón doble, mesa de billar, 1 cuarto de baño, una sauna, un jacuzzi interior (* sólo en invierno *) y una lavadora y secadora, 2 dormitorios y 1 baño en la planta principal, y 1 dormitorio y 1 baño en el nivel superior. El salón tiene una gran chimenea de ladrillo. También hay un rincón acogedor loft / lectura en el nivel superior, perfecta para curling con el libro. La sala de recreo en el nivel inferior también tiene un fantástico bar de temática deportiva. aire acondicionado central y WIFI también se proporcionan para esta unidad, así como una terraza de la parte delantera de la casa con una parrilla. Esta casa se encuentra a 4 cuadras del albergue de esquí principal.

It was a great stay for our friend getaway! The house had great space for the 5 of us. We loved the downstairs bar area with the pool table. We loved that there were 3 bathrooms! The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and utensils, and even a crockpot. It was a good stay!!

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was roomy enough for our family and dog. It was well stocked- didn’t need to buy any additional supplies. We were there at the end of August and the location was great for day hikes in the area and close to restaurants.

Barlament Family ski trip

We have been coming to Powder horn for the past 24 years and have stayed at many locations over the years. Our stay at Poleski has been the most enjoyable. The amenities are perfect for a growing family and offers a variety of things to do in the facility. Of all the places we stayed we most enjoyed this listing and highly recommend.We are looking forward to seeing you again next year for our 3rd year in a row.

Very nice place to get away

We had a great experience staying there. The house was spacious and was equipped with just about everything you would need. We had plenty of room. We loved using the pool table downstairs. The hot tub was gross and slimy, so that was disappointing because I was looking forward to that. The area was beautiful and the fall colors were in peak so that was awesome.

Great location for a fall stay

We were minutes from the Black River Scenic Byway and Copper Peak. We were also within an hour from The Porcupine Mountains. Perfect place for fall color watching, and our group of three families had enough space to spread out but still gather all together for games and eating. I’d had some concerns about cleanliness based on other reviews, but everything inside was spotless. There was some very minor rental damage in the home, but overall we were very happy with our stay and the amenities.

Our family ski trip went well. The house was perfect for our size. Maintenance was quick to respond to needs. Could have used a little more info. Of how and what to do...especially with the hottub!

Awesome property!

This is a great place to stay with a large family or two small. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The game, room and hot tub and sauna are a plus. The front faces the ski hill so you have a great view. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. The fireplace is an added bonus and there was plenty of firewood. We will definitely stay at this property again. The only thing I would say is make sure you stock up on groceries, drinks, etc because it is a little ways back into town.

It was nice, clean place to stay & be close to nature & cute small towns.

Weather flashing on the main door should be fixed- hard to close & lock. Outside lights burnt out on side deck. Upstairs bathroom door close properly.

Larger than it looks!

My family of four adults stayed at this home and found it more spacious than it looks from the outside and inside pictures. Three levels and plenty of room for more guests than the four of us. The living area and kitchen made our mealtime comfortable and afforded us nice family time together since we could cook and hang out in the same space. Since we visited in the summer the location was a bit off the beaten track for our activities of hiking close to the Lake Superior shore but there is a very nice town, Ironwood close by that was fun to visit and has some interesting things to see. The accommodations were clean and the beds were comfortable. The trash from the previous renter or renters, was left outside by the entrance door and attracted a lot of insects which was not so nice. It would have been lovely to of sat outside on the decks, there are three outdoor spaces but no tables and only a couple of plastic chairs, after using the grill (that was hard to light) but we understand that this property is located very close to a ski resort, convenient in winter, so not needed and probably challenging to store. If we are back in the area again during the winter months I would stay here again, If you’re looking for a great place to stay close to a ski resort you’ll love this house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Poleski was an awesome home. Very roomy and great for our Christmas ski week but I do need to say that it is not as clean or as well stocked as other VRBO's that I have stayed at. I seemed a step above a college house. That did not ruin our fun or made it any less entertaining than it was. I have read a lot of the reviews and it looks like a lot of the same problems have been mentioned repeatedly. We did need to supply our own hand soap, garbage bags and not enough toilet paper and laundry detergent were supplied. Most of the outside light need to be replaced because they are all burned out. The fireplace was great but you definitely need to bring your own fire starters for the large logs provided with no kindling. If this home had a deep clean and some maintenance issues were addressed it would be an A+ place to stay.
