The house was located in a quiet, walkable, neighborhood, and just a short walk to a family beach. It was great that the house was all on one floor, was clean, and had everything we needed.We enjoyed many hours out in the deck. Itwas a short drive to Niantic, the boardwalk, and several restaurants. We are a group of retired friends who enjoy our “girl’s trips” and were very happy that we found Jills house!

Our First Family Week!

My husband and I, my daughter, and my son and his family spent a lovely week at Jill's home. The house was spacious with room for us all - 5 adults, plus a 7-year-old, a 2-year-old, and 3 month old twins! It had everything we needed for a week by the water. We really appreciated the beach gear, especially the wagon to easily get us all there and back! It was a great vacation week. Jill was very responsive and gracious about sharing her lovely home. Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The house was immaculately clean and so much bigger than it looks in the listing photos. My bed was truly luxurious — and that’s saying something because I often complain about beds and couches while traveling. Speaking of couches, the ones here (plus the lounge chair) were insanely comfortable.The beachy décor throughout the home is adorable and really adds to the relaxing vacation vibe. The owner lives nearby and was incredibly responsive, running over anything we needed — not that we needed much, because the house was stocked with just about everything you could imagine.The location is perfect. It’s a short walk to a private beach — and I mean truly private. Many times, we were the only people there. The calm Long Island Sound water was perfect for my toddler to play in, much easier and more fun than the big crashing waves we’re used to. She especially loved walking out to the sandbar at low tide.The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming, with friendly neighbors, and you’re close to local attractions, museums, shops, and restaurants — but far enough away to fully relax when you’re back “home.”We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend!

GREAT STAY

This home was very clean and spacious, the communication with the host was easy and friendly, and the home was well stocked. We brought our grandkids with us, including twins who are 2 years old- the home had safety gates and even a large crib. The location is great- a 2 minute walk to a private beach. Highly recommend.

The house was more spacious than it seemed from photos. It was so quiet in the house and in the neighborhood. Having the private beach so close was a plus. The deck was huge with lots of laces to sit.

Beautiful Beach Home

This home was lovely, clean and well stocked. There were lots of towels, beach towels, and kitchen equipment and supplies. The house is a short walk to the beach and conveniently located to New London and Mystic. Our hosts thought of everything!

Beautiful!

The house is 3 houses away from a private beach in a quiet neighborhood. The beach is in a fairly protected area, so it was perfect for my 5 year old to feel comfortable swimming and playing in the sand. The neighborhood is situated well for going to Niantic or you can easily get to Mystic. This was our second summer renting the house and we loved it!

Beach House

The beach house was in close proximity to beach only a 1 minute walk. It provided ample space for my family of five and was well equipped to handle my young kids. Overall great house!

Great Location for a relaxing weekend

Stayed with friends for the weekend. Loved the beach access and the host provided chairs, umbrellas and floats to make packing for the trip a breeze. House was clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back.

Vacation success!

The house was very comfortable and relaxing with a very welcoming feel. Proximity to quiet private beach can’t be beat! Quick drive to several towns and restaurants that were fun to visit. Although we were 4 adults, the house and beach would also be fabulous for families with kids! All around great vacation spot.

Very nice

The house is very clean, spacious and well-equipped (rare in home rentals these days). Plenty of room for a family of four with one set of grandparents and one uncle. The beach is right there and the house is also close to lots of shops/restaurants. Thank you for a great stay.

Beautiful location

We came up for a week to visit family. It was a spacious house, a literal stones throw from the beach, and the neighborhood was quiet. The beach is clean and fairly shallow out to a sandbar. Perfect for our 4 year old.

Lovely spot

We enjoyed every single day at the house and at the beach. The house was super clean, plenty of space and all the above amenities. The beach was 1 minute walking to, so much space you could pick . Back to the house, evening was super quiet, grab a drink, sit at the back porch, so relaxing. Definitely a comeback!!

Wonderful family friendly beach house

We loved our stay at Jill’s property. She was very responsive to phone calls and texts leading up to and during the stay. The home was nicely decorated and matched the listing description. The highlight was the proximity to the private beach; it was a family friendly neighborhood and beach. The kids loved the sandbar aspect of the beach and the outdoor shower on Jill’s property was so convenient for cleaning up after a day in the sand/water. The neighbors were quiet, the internet worked beautifully, and we had no complaints at all! We also liked having the beach chairs, wagon, and boogie boards to use while we were there. The neighborhood is quiet and nice to have a little stroll after dinner. We enjoyed taking a cup of coffee down to sit at the beach early in the morning. The restaurants and boardwalk in Niantic are just a few minutes drive. Overall just a really relaxing and lovely stay at this beach house.

Awesome beach house just 100 steps to a beautiful, clean, beach! Very safe neighborhood! Central air conditioning and extra enclosed shower in the garage with hot water for convenience upon return from the beach! Gas grill for cook outs and fire pit for nightly hang out while little ones sleep!
