Un lujo a tu alcance

Es un lujo encontrarse con propietarios como Saverio. Nos fue a buscar al aeropuerto. Es todo amabilidad y simpatía. Habla poco en español pero no importa para entenderte con él perfectamente. Su propiedad está en un edificio de 500 años de antigüedad, pura historia. Totalmente reformado por dentro y muy acogedor. No le falta un detalle. La cocina totalmente equipada con todo, e incluso te deja un poquito de todos los condimentos que necesites, incluido aceite. No necesitas ningún plano, ni guía de la ciudad, ni nada, en el piso encontrarás de todo. Parada de autobus en la puerta, supermercado a 50 metros. 3 minutos a los jardines Bóboli, 5 minutos a Puente Vecchio. Todo esto unido a la simpatía de su propietario hará que tu estancia en Florencia sea inolvidable, (como lo ha sido para nosotros). Gracias Saverio.

"Cerca del Casco Históric...

"Cerca del Casco Histórico ( escasos 10 mn andando de Puente Vecchio) y con todo tipo de servicios a pie de portal, este apartamento es muy agradable y confortable. El dormitorio no dá a la calle, lo que asegura tranquilidad.Saverio y su hija nos fueron a buscar a la estación y nos facilitaron la estancia con todo tipo de información y equipando el apartamento con todo lo que pudiesemos necesitar. Se nota que disfrutan viendo cómo sus huéspedes aprecian la belleza de Florencia y eso es lo que hicimos nosotros. Gracias Saverio. Handy for the City -Centre but with local shops and services in the area the flat is very confortable and well equipped. It is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bedroom doesn´t face the street and is peaceful. A very useful and well-presented info pack is also provided. Saverio, the host, and his daughter are warmly, hospitable and take sincere pleasure in their guests´ appreciation of their historic native city . "

Host has excellent communication with us and is very friendly. There was also a booklet full of recommendations for dining, gelato and traditional Tuscan food. Size was perfect for a family of 4 adults. Beds were very comfortable and adequate. Bathroom was great, no problems with plumbing at all. The apt is nicely decorated with enough items for cooking or just having tea or coffee.

Saverio, the host, met us on the street as we walked from the train station. He then proceeded to help with our luggage as we climbed up three flights of steep stairs. Once inside the very clean apartment he gave us tips on what to see and maps of the city with routes marked for walking tours. Very helpful. The apartment was clean, roomy (big bedroom), had an excellent shower and was stocked with essentials for cooking and eating in. Sometimes, even when travelling, a good homecooked meal is a wonderful thing. (A CONAD grocery store is within walking distance to get fresh meat and vegetables.) Close enough to the sights of Florence but far enough away so that it’s not so crowded and noisy. Communication with Saverio was easy and effective through WhatsApp. An enjoyable stay in Florence.

The flat was well located in Oltrarno, about 15-20 minutes from the main attractions on the other side of the river. Relatively quiet and with easy access to Santo Spirito for good restaurants. Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens are close by. As is the case with any apartments in the neighborhood, there are stairs to climb to reach the second floor, so try to pack light. The kitchen was very well equipped if you decide to eat in but why would you when there are hundreds of great restaurants so near and throughout the city. Host Saverio is easy to reach by WhatsApp should you need anything or have a problem. Get your morning caffe at Caffe Mi Piace just a few doors up on the opposite side of the street. Roberto and his wife are a warm and friendly stop to start the day. Please tell them that Nancy & Jay told you to stop in!

Fantastic location

Great little apartment in Oltrarno away from the maddening crowds in Florence. Saverio was very communicative, helpful, and welcoming. As long as you are ok with climbing stairs, I highly recommend!

Wonderful week in Florence

My husband and I try to visit Florence every year and this trip we were lucky enough to find Saverio’s apartment! It is very cute and comfortable and well stocked with everything you might need. The neighbourhood was fantastic and close to sights and amazing restaurants but quiet during the night! We really enjoyed meeting Saverio and will definitely be back.

Flavours of Florence

This property was such a find! Nestled close to all the major sites yet removed from the tourist hustle. We loved being a part of the Santo Spirito neighbourhood and being welcomed its residents. Saverio is an excellent hosts with maps and recommendations for the ultimate Florence experience. We will definitely be back to this gem.

Clean, cozy and compact

Apartment was very clean and tidy and it had a nice shower. Saverio was very helpful when we arrived and provided lots of good information about sites to visit and where to get groceries and find authentic restaurants. He also arranged a taxi to pick us up on our departure.

It was great to meet with the owner when we got there to learn about the property and area. Having laundry was so helpful at the end of our trip. The place was cute and clean. It was conveniently located across the river so that we weren’t in a really busy area.

Exceptional stay, wonderful host, perfect location

This is the first time I had the opportunity to visit Italy. This location was perfect, the apartment very comfortable, and we were near the major attractions while being able to go back to a quiet neighborhood. We walked everywhere from the apartment. The neighborhood is comprised more of locals, so the restaurants were more laid back and streets were not nearly as crowded as much of Florence. The apartment had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower worked very well. Our host was very outgoing but also unobtrusive. He had several great recommendations for sights and restaurants, and he was always available to assist. I think this apartment made our trip better. If I'm ever back, I'm going to try to stay here again.

Super Location

The location in central Florence was exceptional. The host met us and carried our luggage up the steep stairs, which was very kind. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable, however the front room is on a busy street. The furnishings are quaint and kitchen ware could be updated. Good restaurants and bakery nearby.

Great apartment

We stayed for 3 nights in this apartment and found it clean and comfortable. The bed, pillows and shower were all very good and it had a well functioning kitchen. Saverio met us at checkin and was very helpful with neighbourhood recommendations.

Wonderful apartment in the “Brooklyn” of Florence!

We absolutely loved this apartment getaway in the heart of the Santo Spirito neighborhood of Florence! It was so wonder to be out of the touristy areas. We easily walked to all the museums and galleries right across the bridge, but we also got to explore many workshops of artists and up and coming independent designers in this cool neighborhood. Severio was wonderful and met us at the apartment to go over the quirks of staying in a 500 year old building. His place has everything you need. Big windows, complete kitchen, AC, WIFI, comfy beds, and coffee! I slept well in the sofa bed, while my friend had the back bedroom. Saverio provided us with maps of the area marked with his favorite spots. It was so fun to feel like a local. There were fabulous cafes and restaurants on the same street as the apartment. I look forward to coming back and exploring more!

L’appartement est assez bien situé. Notre hôte a été très accueillant er patient et nous a aidés pour le parking et l’accès à l’immeuble La rue est assez bruyante à certains moments. La chambre est au calme mais plutôt sombre car elle donne sur une courette. Elle est assez humide et nous avons été gênés par les moustiques. Problème avec la machine à laver le linge. L’essorage ne fonctionne pas et le linge est ressorti trempé. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour

Just what we needed!

Excellent location!

The location couldn't be better. Easy walk from the train station and easy walk to all the sites of Florence. So close to everything that you can easily pop back for your lunch or a nap if you're out and about exploring Florence. The apartment is lovely and super clean with good ventilation. The kitchen is well equipped allowing you to prepare whatever you fancy. The bedroom is super quiet and the bed is comfortable. I would recommend better lighting for the bathroom. The host was warm and friendly, met us on time and was available for us throughout our stay. You will not be disappointed. Thank you so much! :>)

Building codes are very different in Italy.

The reception from the owner couldn't have been better - offered to collect me from the station. The building is ancient with extremely worn and narrow stairs. Travel light. The apartment is airy and satisfactorily light. Although, thanks to the aging windows and frames may be chilly in colder weather. 2 air cons help. The kitchen is functional, the bedroom spacious but dark and gloomy. The bathroom works and there's no shortage of hot water. The washing machine washes but doesn't drain. Due to the age of the building, the apartment isn't too bad. It worked for me, a great escape from the madness of the city below. It may be a bit compact for 2 or more people. Thank you, Saverio for a comfy stay.
