Hermosa casa nueva, 3 dormitorios 2 baños, amplia terraza al aire libre de estar con vistas gran piscina de agua salada y hermoso patio con gran zona de césped para jugar y disfrutar. Capacidad para 6 personas. Completamente terreno privado, la casa se encuentra dentro de una urbanización cerrada, es fácil caminar a la ciudad de Atenas, donde podrá disfrutar de pintorescos restaurantes, bancos, y todos los servicios.

La casa le permite una vista de las montañas hermosas y alrededores durante las luces de día y hermosa titilantes en la noche. Esto puede ser visto desde nuestra amplia terraza exterior o desde el salón interior con grandes ventanas. La terraza exterior está amueblado con mecedoras costarricenses muy confortable y reposapiés, hay tumbonas de la piscina y un paraguas en la piscina, así como una parrilla ..

El interior es muy confortable, con amplios asientos en el salón donde se puede ver la televisión o ver películas en el reproductor de blue ray .. O estar en línea con nuestra conexión a Internet alta velocidad. Rincón comedor junto a la cocina con una bonita mesa para 6.
La cocina está totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos nuevos, utensilios de cocina y todo lo necesario para que su estancia muy cómoda.

El dormitorio principal tiene vistas al jardín y la piscina, cómoda cama king size y baño principal con bañera de hidromasaje grande, ducha, lavabo doble, tocador, etc.
El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama queen size, tercer dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales. Hay un segundo cuarto de baño con ducha compartida por estos dos dormitorios.

Atenas es conocida por su fantástico clima y su ubicación es ideal para explorar Costa Rica.
Paseos en día incluyen pero no se limitan a: Playa Jacó y otras playas de la zona del Pacífico Central, Volcán Poás, Cataratas La Paz, plantación de café Doka, san jose, el toledo cafetal, y muchos, muchos más ..

Estamos a 20 minutos de distancia del aeropuerto internacional y cerca de la autopista 27.

Los viernes no te olvides de ir al mercado de los agricultores de productos orgánicos y deliciosos pasteles.

O simplemente asiento junto a la piscina de agua salada (no lo puedo secar tu piel y te dejará renovado y no huele a cloro!) contar cuántas variedades de aves que has visto ese día y relájese mientras disfruta de una hermosa puesta de sol!

Relaxing and beautiful

Villa Bonilla is a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The pool is wonderful, kitchen appliances and kitchen ware make it easy to prepare meals, comfortable beds, and conveniently locate. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Birthday getaway

The property was great and exactly as advertised. The location in Roca Verde provided great views and easy access to the town of Atenas. Marianna was easy to communicate with before and as we departed. She was very responsive and ensured we had no concerns and was ready to address any issue. The pool was especially delightful on the hot days. Great times again.

Terrific property for a family vacation

We had a pleasant 10 day stay at Villa Bonilla. The property is centrallly located with easy access to the beach in Jaco, the mountains to visit La Paz Waterfall , Poas volcano or if your missing the big city a short ride into San Jose. The villa is very well equipped for cooking and we enjoyed a couple pool days while taking in the amazing view followed by fresh fish on the grill. A special thank you to Leticia, the property manager who was there to greet us, arrange for a high chair and crib as well as give us some great tips on great things to see and restaurants to visit. All in all a great spot to truly enjoy a family vacation in central Costa Rica while having the comforts of home. Oh yeah... The kids really enjoyed the zip line and animals at Zoo Avenue and only 20 minutes away.

Paradise in the moutains of Atenas

We really enjoyed our stay. A peaceful retreat in the mountains of Costa Rica. Though San Jose was just 25 minutes down the highway, we felt incredibly remote. The gated neighborhood gave us great peace of mind. The people of Atenas were very helpful, polite, and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mrs. Leticia whom was the caretaker of the property. She was very informative and a pleasure to converse with. She explained "Atenas" and provided us with a intuitive map highlighting some of the city's restaurants and shops. The views are exceptional day and night. We really enjoyed the pool and the patio. The home has reliable WIFI and cable programing. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. Anything we needed, we found at one of three large grocery stores within minutes of the home. There were phones with active local lines that made it easy to communicate locally. The home is also equipped with an alarm. Overall a great experience! We highly recommend this place.

Christmas in CR!

The house is great! Beds are comfy, there's good space for four adults (mom, dad, son and grand dad), the pool is awesome and they provide a starter supply of TP, and paper towels. The bath towels are top notch too! The property manager, Letitcia, is really responsive too. We only needed to sweep and couldn't find the broom or dustpan- I sent an email and she responded rightaway. Our Christmas this year was fantastic here at this house! We laid by the pool, made great meals and played cards. This house is an hour west of the airport, 2.5 hours from Manuel Antonio National Park, 1 hour from the beach. The town has a lovely grocery store- prices are equivelent with DC food prices, great place to buy fish, Del Mar, and La Cocina is a great restaurant in Atenas too. We went to some outstanfing tpurs- which were close: the chocolate tour in La Garita, the El Toledo coffee tour ( with lunch), and a botanical garden in La Garita. We did some "local" things, the falls at Desmonte and at Los Chorros. They were spatacular but pretty tough hikes- and only during the dry season or they're too dangerous. The trip to Manuel Antonio- amazing! Get a guide- we used Manuel from Manuel's tours- fantastic day! Follow what the guidebooks say- they are dead on: get there early, use a guide and arrange parking with Manuel.

Beyond Expectations

Villa Bonilla My husband and I stayed at Villa Bonilla for 3 weeks in February 2024. Let me first say that the place far exceeded our expectations. We chose this vrbo based on the listing description and photos and we were already excited about our visit. But once we arrived and stepped into the house and walked around the grounds, we thought it was more beautiful than the listing pictures showed. As advertised, the weather in Atenas is perfect. Sunny and hot every day. No humidity. The covered outdoor patio makes it an ideal spot to hang out all day long. We saw many birds from the patio: keel-billed toucans, grey hawks, parakeet, hummingbirds including the rufus tailed, blue-gray tanager, great-tailed grackle, social flycatcher, chachalaca, great kiskadee, hoffman’s woodpecker, clay-coloured robin (Costa Rica’s national bird). It was great having a pool, which is maintained and cleaned weekly. Our host, Maria, made the booking and check-in process easy and seamless. Our concierge, Marianna, was helpful and responsive to questions we had. The house is well appointed with comfortable furniture, reliable appliances, and functional kitchen equipment. Plenty of linens and towels, as well. The staff at the front gate were very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for planning day trips to the west coast beaches. Atenas is a great little town; we grew quite fond of it. It has many amenities, shops and restaurants. We wish we had stayed longer.

Lovely Atenas!

The property looks exactly like the photos. Meeting up with the property manager at the gate we easy and she was on time. The community is very secure, the security at gate was very helpful and pleasant. The house was not used for two years prior to my stay so my only issue was the house needed a deep clean from ceiling to floor. The tub should be ran between visits I did not use due to rusty pipes. I spoke with the property manager and she said she will get on it for the future. The pool had a lot of debris from extreme winds and Marianna sent someone to help the next day, I really appreciated this. So overall I had a great stay I do hope Marianna takes care of the things I mentioned to her. My friends and I would love to stay again.

So happy that you and your family and friends enjoyed your stay and that you would stay in our home again. When we communicated I indicated that because of Covid we had not had our house on the short rental program for a couple of years, however, the house has been used by us and other people. Our house is cleaned on a weekly basis by our housekeeper. During the dry windy season, dust can be an issue. The same dry windy conditions can also sometimes cause debris to go to the pool, the pool is maintained on a weekly basis but as Mariana, our property manager did, we can call the pool maintenance crew to come and do extra cleaning. The whirlpool tub has not been used in a while, we are having a plumber look into it, I was not aware that there were rusty pipes, but it will be checked out. You were a model renter and left the house in excellent condition, which we really appreciate. Best wishes, I hope you enjoyed your birthday celebration.

From Freezing Michigan to Paradise!

The house and location were amazing. It was a perfect venue for us (5 senior but fairly active adults) on their first visit to Costa Rica. The central location allowed wonderful day trips to various sites plus relaxing mornings and evenings under the deep veranda. So lovely and entertaining with a variety of birds. The privacy was excellent. We also appreciated the fact that the village was not geared toward tourists. The breezes were delicious. There were a few minor plumbing issues that we reported and will be addressed. The roads were an adventure in themselves. Well maintained but a lot of blind curves and steep grades. We were glad we had an automatic four wheel drive. But we did it . Thanks Theresa and Leticia for your work in making our environment so welcoming. !!

PERFECT Atenas Vacation

Communication was a bit bumpy at first BUT everything after was fantastic! This home is just the right size; SPOTLESS and updated. Amazing views & grounds- we spent several days just enjoying the home & pool and being together as a family. I've been a travel agent for 30 yrs and this rates as one of the most relaxing trips to date. Atenas is also a great base location to other CR destinations like Manuel Antonio park; Arenal and Los Suenos. Grateful the Bonilla's are willing to share their lovely home- such a great way to bring in 2019 ! Also Walter's Tours & Taxi's were amazing ! THANK YOU!

Wonderful stay

Two couples stayed two weeks. The house is very comfortable and very clean. We spent 90% of our house time on the patio by the pool, enjoying the view and the marvelous weather. We could walk to town, but when at the house felt that we were almost alone in the country. It is centrally located to many activities and a wonderful place to vacation.

More than we could have asked for

Stayed for a week with my two adult sons and husband. This is a wonderful property. Clean and comfortable. Perfect location, close enough to town to walk in for dinner and a Christmas parade, but far enough away to enjoy the country atmosphere!! It was a short Costa Rica drive (definitely takes a little more time to get places than expected) to a number of great attractions, including zip lining, horseback riding, the beach, or even the mall. The property manager was responsive to questions. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Perfect & Beautiful Location

We spent an amazing six weeks in this well-appointed and beautiful house. It had all the necessary tools for cooking and entertaining. We could not have asked for more. The house sits in an upscale gated community and offers privacy and a spectacular view to the town of Atenas and surrounding hills. The large private pool is well maintained and great to relax in. We also very much enjoyed the patio by listening to the birds and looking at the blue sky - so delightful! The owner and manager were easy to work with. We highly recommend this place. One of the best vacation! Thank you very much.

Maria, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your spotless Atenas vacation home. The pictures of the property are exactly what one can expect when they check into your house. Georgous well kept property

This is a really high end, well managed property with spectacular views, a great pool and beautiful furniture and dishes. The owner was a dream to work with. Had everything you might want (except a dishwasher). Our vacation was spectacular.
