Un chalet original de Tahoe, un paso atrás en el tiempo con todas las comodidades modernas que espera en una casa de vacaciones.

Esta encantadora cabaña de pino nudoso cuenta con una gran sala abierta con una estufa de leña, un nuevo televisor de pantalla plana, un sofá muy amplio y muy cómodo y un nuevo calentador de gas. Este es un gran lugar para relajarse después de un largo día esquiando o jugando en la playa, según la temporada.

Ubicado en un barrio muy tranquilo pero con fácil acceso que todo South Lake Tahoe tiene para ofrecer: Heavenly Ski Resort, playas, paseos en bote, tiendas, restaurantes, juegos y vida nocturna en Tahoe.

El frente de la casa comienza con una espaciosa terraza delantera, también hay un pequeño porche sentado al costado de la casa. Entras en la gran sala con paneles de pino originales en todo. Hay una cocina eficiente, baño completo, dormitorio y cuarto de lavado.

La habitación de abajo tiene una habitación de matrimonio con una cabecera del Harvey's Casino original. También hay una cama de día si tienes niños contigo. La habitación del loft de arriba incluye una cama queen, cama doble y una doble.

Great neighborhood and cozy home

This house grew on us. At first I was not sure since I did not notice there was no dishwasher. The house was neat and well equipped. The neighborhood though…really fun!

Excellent Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was clean and very close to all the areas we needed to visit for the Husky in the Snow Meetup. The Bijou dig park was minutes away, Kiva Lake and Nevada Beach was a 15-20 minute drive. Neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors across the street were super nice! We definitely come and stay here again.

Getaway

The cabin was great for us. The loft was bigger than expected and that was fun. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. Location was near enough to everything, and the neighborhood was quiet and nice.

Spring Break Trip

Location was great and as others have stated it was within 10 minutes from everything. The lighting, appliances, and decor could really use some updates. It was rather dark in the cabin. The beds were comfortable.

Great South Lake Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this South Lake cabin. It offered great value in comparison to similar listings. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The house was larger than expected, with plenty of room. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck with morning coffee. Great location with easy access to all of South Lake Tahoe attractions.

Tahoe Christmas

Loved the location to all of the attractions. The house was a good size for our family. Loved it was pet friendly and had no pet odors. However we felt that it would benefit from a “Deep” cleaning. There were cobwebs in the ceilings and in the loft area. The kitchen potholders were not clean and I had to wash them. We did love the bbq. Would recommend going through all of the pots and pans and keeping the nice ones with lids. Also a clean cookie sheet would have been nice.Overall we did enjoy it and would stay again.

Cute place

We were in town for a wedding and wanted to stay someplace other than a hotel. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. The property itself was pretty much as listed, although could use some minor updates. The ceiling/rafters were still rather dusty and full of cobwebs and the bedding could be replaced/refreshed. Also, maybe replace the tons of tiny mugs with some regular sized coffee mugs? We had a good laugh about the teeny tiny cups. For our needs, it was a good place to stay.

Pros: Great location, 10 minutes from everything. Neighborhood felt safe, could easily walk around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The cabin itself was quaint and for the price point per night it was one of the more reasonable cabins in the same area. Cons: Definitely can feel the age of the decor, feel like the bones of the cabin were good and with just a bit of an interior upgrade (electronics, furniture) it would really be a gem! Even though the cabin itself was clean it felt a bit chaotic inside, and it was hard to feel comfortable. Overall, it was a cute cabin and price point is reasonable but not sure if I’d come back.

Best little cabin EVER!

My family sold the cabin that was built in 1946 and so this was my first year coming to Tahoe in the summer, renting a cabin. I searched for a cozy cabin with the same knotty pine and history as my old cabin and this place didn't disappoint! It is so pretty from the outside and so perfect for a family on the inside. My 3 kids slept comfortably up top with PLENTY of room for all their stuff (there are even 3 dressers up there!) And my husband and I slept downstairs. It was just the best experience. We loved it so much and are so very grateful that the owners rent this special place for others to enjoy. We will be back for sure!

This cabin was just basic. Nothing extra! It’s an older cabin but advertised as being with all the modern upgrades but we didn’t find them . There was not detailed instructions on how to operate the heater but we finally figured it out threw trial and error.

Owners referred to modern upgrades as their high speed wifi and TV, bathroom tile replaced and new flooring in bathroom and kitchen. It is still a classic Tahoe cabin nothing too fancy.

Quaint and as expected

The interior is a little dated, but nothing out of line with other cabins in this price range. We were very comfortable and satisfied with our stay. One bathroom means groups of 4+ might find it confining. The stone landing below the porch steps was very icy. It’s not level which made it a bit treacherous. Something for those with mobility issues to consider during the winter.

The decor felt outdated and cluttered, which made it feel less inviting for my family. Our taste may differ from others, so this may be only a con for us.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
