Incredible stay

The location is extremely walkable and had no issues getting anywhere we wanted on foot! The property itself is easy to find and was very nice. Had all the amenities we needed and I would highly recommend.

Sicily Top Notch

Great experience. Make sure to research buses and timetables. This location was very close to the heart of Palermo. You can walk almost everywhere but just down the street to the right is taxi, buses and horse carriages. Markets and food spots galore.

Great apartment in the heart of town!

My husband and I really liked this little apartment -- it's located just a block from the Teatro Massimo, with the shopping district to the north (literally the next block is where it begins) and right on the main pedestrian road leading south into the old part of Palermo. There is no parking included with the apartment, but the street parking is really easy and cheaper than most garages. For 1 euro an hour, there are only 10 chargeable hours M-S (sundays are free) and you can pay it all at once and put a ticket on your dash. You really don't need a car at all, though, as there's a ton to see and do all in less than a mile easy walking. Guilia was a most helpful and responsive host -- she responded to emails quickly and answered all my questions. Note: You will also pay 1.5euro per person/per night hotel tax. Be prepared! The apartment is very comfortable (including the bed) and had everything we needed. Some people have mentioned the noise from the street below -- we were there on a holiday night and then through the weekend. Every night there were loud people on the street small plaza at the restaurants and cafes below. Yes, it was loud when the windows were open. We didn't mind that -- it's a lively town! But when we were ready to sleep, we closed the windows and turned on the AC and the sound was not a problem at all. Very safe and secure — located right in the heart of Palermo. Highly recommended!

Très agréable séjour

Très agréable séjour dans l'appartement fonctionnel, insonorisé, propre et sécurisé de Giulia bienveillante et à notre écoute. Situé à proximité du centre ville et des transports (trains et bus). Nous avons beaucoup aimé le quartier animé et sa vue panoramique. Merci Giulia Very pleasant stay in the functional, soundproof, clean and secure apartment of Giulia who is caring and attentive to our needs. Located near the city center and transport (trains and buses). We really liked the lively area and its panoramic view. Thank you Giulia

"La posizione della casa è veramente ottima per girare la città,l''appartamento è pulito comodo quel tanto che basta per 8/15 giorni.Nei bar/ristoranti vicini alla casa si trovano dei primi piatti e dei secondi veramente a prezzi convenienti e di buona qualità."

Casa Cavour was an absolu...

Casa Cavour was an absolutely ideal location in Palermo. Giulia was wonderful, very helpful about finding things in Palermo, providing me with a map of the city and pointing out various locations that may be helpful. She even set out biscuits and made sure there was milk and cold water in the fridge! The building is very nice, and in the daytime there is a doorman. The apartment itself is exceptionally clean and has everything you might need during your stay. The apartment has wifi, but also there is a computer should you be traveling without a laptop. Also, the a/c is a real lifesaver if traveling there in the summer! (units in both the living room as well as the bedroom). Casa Cavour is located right at the transition between the modern shopping district and the old city center of Palermo, making it very convenient for both purposes. Teatro Massimo is just steps away, and the Capo Market is only a short distance beyond that. The area is very nice, with a perpetual exchange of shoppers and diners. At no point during my time in Palermo did I feel less than secure while staying here. All in all my stay at Casa Cavour was exceptional. The only potential drawback is that the windows overlook a square with many popular bars and restaurants with terraces, so at night you do get some of the noise from below. I found that with earplugs this became no problem.

"Casa centrale e molto comada. Fornita di tutto. Non è necessario affittare una macchina, è tutto a portata di mano. Il quartiere è animato e nelle vicinanze ci sono molti locali. La proprietaria è stata molto cortese è disponibile."
