Amazing Stay

A fantastic place to stay, totally relaxing

We had a fantastic stay - with Philippe as a wonderful host making sure we had all that we needed. A very short drive into Castellamare Del Golfo for many restaurants, and great beaches also short drives away. The terrace is fantastic for evening dining overlooking the bay.

A wonderful place to stay

Philippe was the best host - he made us feel at home from the moment he collected us at the airport. His villa is beautiful and had everything and more to make our stay enjoyable. The views are stunning and the location is great.

This villa was outstanding in every way. The view from the terrace and pool area was magnificent overlooking the sea. The interior of the house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Philppe the owner had thoughtfully stocked the fridge with water, a platter of cold meats and cheese, watermelon and wine to welcome us. He provided lots of information including restaurant recommendations which proved very useful. I would just point out that although the villa is within walking distance of the beach it is extremely hilly so i would suggest a car is needed if staying here.Having said that, overall I could not find fault and thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Sicily and will definitely be back.

Beautiful, relaxing stay!

The property was large, clean, and beautiful. Even better than the photos! We had a fantastic relaxing stay here was our new baby and the host Philippe made sure we had absolutely everything we needed at all times, even making sure there was food and wine for us when we arrived at the home because we were arriving late in the evening. Absolutely will stay again.

Paradise in Sicily!

We stayed here for 3 weeks and it was easily the best villa we have ever stayed in Europe - it was hard to peel ourselves away to go to the beach when you have a perfect view over the bay from the terrace and pool. When we did manage to peel ourselves away, it was very easy to explore the different parts of the island, including day trips to Syracusa, Taormina, and Etna. Philippe (our host) was very welcoming and made our stay very easy. Very simply, this is the villa you want to stay in in Sicily - don’t look anywhere else!

Second visit to Philippe's house, 5 stars again!

We spent a week here in 2019 and then came back for two weeks in 2021. Its a beautiful house, well sized pool, lively old town with lots of restaurant options and pretty streets - a v. scenic coastline too. Phillipe was the perfect host and was always on hand for any questions (boat rental, where to get pre-flight covid checks etc). Highly recommended!

Great view and pool

View and terrace including large and clean pool we found outstanding. Very friendly welcome and contact with owner. Some of the interior would benefit from maintenance (e.g. showers and mosquito nets). Beach is a bit too far to walk (downhill), and SUP were not available. Otherwise great place to spend a week.

Merci pour votre message. La plage est à la distance indiquée sur l’annonce 500 m ! Pour les moustiquaires elles sont changées chaque saison certains clients les traitent mal 😘. En ce qui concerne La douche effectivement elle doit être refaite du à l’utilisation d’un produit utilisé par un précèdent client qui a causé des dommages. J’en suis désolé. Stunning view!

We had a relaxing holiday staying in Philippe’s villa. Ideal size for a family of 4. Wonderful outdoor space, pool, hammock, seating and view of the coastline and beach. Short walk down to the beach or Castellamare del Golfo for restaurants, gelato. Small supermarkets and a bakery within 10 minutes walking distance. Philippe and his daughter Rose were fantastic hosts with excellent communication and recommendations. Thankyou! We hope to return in the future.

Amazing house in Castellammare del Golfo

We were a family of 4 staying in the house. The house is really nice and has all the amenities and features that you need. The pool area and the views are the main attraction of the house and is really amazing. The attractiveness of the place is *****. Phillipe is a great host and was super quick to fix the Wi-Fi when it broke down. He helped us arrange a beautiful boat trip and gave us a lot of tips and tricks, not to mention drinks and pizza on arrival.

Amazing host, house, pool, view and area!

Philippe the host is an outstanding person who just wants your time at his beautiful house to be perfect. He is extremely helpful, a great communicator and made our time there amazing. We would recommend any group to stay whether it be families or couples as the house is comfortable, clean with great AC, cooking facilities and the outside and pool area with view, fantastic. Used the pool a lot and headed out from the house on day trips which Philippe helped organise. He also took us food shopping on the first day and helped us with all the good Italian food for the area. Also helped organise a barber appointment, boat day trip, advice on the area, lent a bike - fantastic person. Beach is close by which is great and it is up and down a steep hill which gives you the great view. We walked to the beach with our 11 and 13 year old kids but there isn’t pathways so younger kids/elderly would need a taxi or hire car. Same to get into the town. Small good supermarket close by for an adult to walk to. Can’t recommend highly enough as this place is one of the best we have stayed in and Phillips is the best host we have ever had! Thank you Phillips for a perfect holiday!

A wonderful week

Philippe was a wonderful host! He met us at the property, welcomed us with a meat and cheese platter, wine and water, and then kindly took us to the store for groceries as our rental car wasn"t coming until the next day. He was helpful with anything we needed. The property had a beautiful pool and magnificant view of the ocean and mountains. Just breathtaking. The property was very close to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, town and the marina. You do need a car to navigate to those destinations as walking is difficult because of the hills and narrow streets. We cooked dinner in a number of nights and Philippe's kitchen had everything we needed. We greatly appreciate Philippe sharing his lovely home with us!

Amazing sea views, fully equipped with all you could need and a very nice helpful owner

The view from this Villa is amazing. The pool and gardens are superb, lots of fruit and olive trees. The garden is really well equipped with sunloungers (2) and a built in seated area near the pool with loads of cushions. You then have a dining area and seating under the covered terrace too. Inside, the Villa is tastefully furnished, very clean and homely. We felt very safe and secure here due to the large electronic gate as we were here with our 3 year old son. We didn’t hire a car as we came for a relaxing 2 weeks but underestimated the distance to the harbour front and castle. It’s over 3km walk right to the front tho all gentle downhill. We walked to the beach several times which is a 10 minutes down hill walk but is a very steep walk back even though it’s less than 1km. We tried a few beach clubs but Peter Pan seemed the best, good food and drinks service etc. There is a supermarket 700m from the house where you get pretty much all you need. The recycling could be clearer as we had to guess what bags to use and where to put them for collection but got there in the end. There are lots of inflatables, floats, snorkels and buckets etc which was really handy. If you have any queries, the owner Philippe is available by email or phone and is most helpful. He even booked us a table at his favourite seafood restaurant and arranged for the owner to pick us up and drop us back home, great service. Couldn’t fault the villa at all and already missing that pool and sea view, would definitely hire a car next time though as taxis are non existent in Castellammare.

Wunderschönes Haus mit herrlicher Aussicht an ruhiger Lage, im Haus alles Nötige vorhanden. Philippe, der Besitzer, ist sehr liebenswert und absolut unkompliziert, bei einem medizinischen Notfall half er uns sofort weiter und fragte auch nach. Bei der Ankunft hatte es eine Platte mit Fleisch und Käse, Brot, Früchte, Getränke und noch vieles mehr - unglaublich! Philippe, nochmals herzlichen Dank für alles!

Wahnnsinnsunterkunft mit tollem Gastgeber

Wunderbarer Ort, großzügige Anlage mit privatem Pool mit blick aufs Meer, ruhie Lage. Zu fuß in 5-10 minuten an einen wunderbaren Sandstrand. Philippe war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich, hatte coole Tipps für Restaurants in der Umgebung und war gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns v.a. auf französisch unterhalten, englisch geht auch - im Zweifel mit Unterstützung durch seine Tochter. ;) Er hatte eine Kleinigkeit vorbereitet zum Snacken sowie Wasser und Wein - sehr aufmerksam. Saubere Wohnung, bequeme Betten, aales für Kochen und Terrassenabende da. Auto muss schon sein, die Einfahrt beim ersten mal nicht ganz offensichtlich, aber zu finden. Zum Zingaro Nationalpark hat man es auch nicht weit und sollte man gesehen haben. Danke für Alles, es hat Spaß gemacht und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!

Fantastischer Ausblick!

Wir verbrachten als Familie einen sehr entspannten Urlaub in dem großzügigen Haus und konnten uns am Ausblick aufs Meer kaum sattsehen. Danke an Philippe, der sich sehr um seine Gäste und sein Haus kümmert.

Magnifique séjour

Magnifique séjour. Superbe villa avec vue à 180 degrés sur la mer. A 10 minutes à pied de la plage. Philippe, le propriétaire est adorable et allé nous acheter à manger pour le dîner le premier soir. Nous recommandons la villa à 100%

Familjetrip

Vi var 6 vuxna som hyrde huset en vecka. Läget var perfekt och Philippe var en mycket hjälpsam värd. Härlig pool. Bilderna ger boendet rättvisa.. En bil är bra att ha, backigt och dåligt med trottoarer. Mycket fin strand ca 1km gångväg från boendet.

Tolles Haus mit Pool und Blick auf den Golfo und die Berge

Freundlicher Empfang mit Getränken und einem Imbiss im Kühlschrank. Haus ist modern, sehr gepflegt (innen und aussen). Wunderbarer Garten mit grosszügiger Poolanlage und diversen Lounges und Liegen. Der Blick auf den Golfo und in die Berge sind atemberaubend. Das nahe gelegene Stätchen Castelammare del Golfo hat viel Charme und lädt am Abend zum Flanieren und Essen ein. Ein Ausflug mit einem gemieteten Boot der Küste entlang sehr empfehlenswert. Schöner Spot in Nordsizilien - würde ich wieder buchen.
