Overall a wonderful stay

The location and views are amazing! Overall it's a beautiful house. Could use some updating in the kitchen and bathrooms. No toiletries were available which was a disappointment. The patio should've been swept before our arrival as there was a lot of brush around the hot tub.

Wonderful home at a beautiful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The home is beautiful and the area where it’s located is perfect. The views from the back yard are stunning. The house is exactly as pictured if not better. The art and details in the home make it a truly special place!

Lovely property and a lovely stay. We stayed in Arroyo Seco/Taos in July, peak heat season, so you have to know what you're signing up for: THERE IS NO AC ON THE PROPERTY! Most NM rentals in mountains won't have them, and its not a huge problem but we had a couple of days in the 90s which were uncomfortable but that's what you're signing up for in July. Hot tub did NOT work. A part was broken. The hot tub is old. Not sure it will work again, but after our stay it sounds like the parts were replaced and potentially working. I would check with property manager if hot tub was working. We were comped for the broken hot tub with no fuss which was very nice. Pool and tennis courts in the community are A+. Lovely perks. Overall had a very good time!

Great Views & Location, Dirty House

The house was in the perfect location with amazing views but wasn't clean at all. Upon arriving I dropped a piece of ice and when I wiped it up noticed how dirty the floor was. Then my kids started pointing out all the spider webs, then all the spiders (living & dead) throughout the entire house. We werent able to use the trundle as we found mouse feces on it when we slid it out. We also saw some under the queen bed. The shower hadn't been cleaned either and there was half used soap bars on the shower floor. We had already been told the hot tub wasn't working (which was no biggie for us) but property management told me they tried to find another house with a working hot tub to move us to but there weren't any other available properties so I knew we had to deal with the mouse droppings, spiders and dust, otherwise I would have requested a different house. We had to take what we could get with it being Spring Break. If the house had been cleaner, it would have received 5 stars. We did appreciate how well-stocked the kitchen was and the plethora of bathroom towels.

The location is perfect for accessing the ski valley, and it’s only one mile from Taos Cow ice cream. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was decorated with great local art. Towels and bedding were new and clean. We hope to return soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Charlotte, our caretaker, was very accommodating and helpful. The house was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. The blinds on our east-facing bedroom were very dark so when they were pulled down, we could really sleep in without being bothered by early morning light. The property description was accurate and it was even more spacious than I imagined. The location is out in the country, so it's very quiet at night, quiet enough to occasionally hear the coyotes yipping. But it was 5 minutes from Arroyo Seco and 20 minutes fron Taos, so easy to get around. My only complaint was the wi-fi was a little wonky and occasionally had to be re-started, but I understand that is out of the property manager's control. I loved walking even just on our street and watching the birds and the prairie dogs. It was a great locations and I would recommend it.

this is a great rental in arroyo seco - 15 minutes to Taos town and 15 minutes to Taos ski valley. Arroyo seco was great for restaurants, ice cream, etc. house was great for hanging out, hot tub, beautiful views. highly recommend!

The house is 15 minutes from the slopes and has amazing views! It is very spacious and well equipped. We loved the Kiva fireplace and the hot tub. The indoor pool was great for the kids. The caretaker was very responsive. Highly recommend this spot.

The home was generally clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The shower heads in both bathrooms could stand replacing. Outside the quiet is so wonderful it has to be experienced to do justice.We had a roof leak after a storm and Harris, the caretaker, was very responsive in taking care of it.

Pure Getaway Bliss

This by far was one of our most favorite family trips so far and it had so much to do with this home. From start to finish everything was so easy and so perfect. We actually didn’t even talk to the owner except for before we arrived just to touch base and then just to let them know that we were leaving. Walking in the front door and having everything at your fingertips and footsteps was just so amazing. I would highly advise arriving at night so you wake up to the amazing mountain views in the morning. We had so much fun every day in the backyard and the front yard. We built a snowman, the kids did some sledding and we had snowball fights. The neighborhood is perfect for families and individuals. The little town five minutes south was amazing, sol coffee and grocery, and Abe’s for tacos, they literally had everything we needed. And everyone was so friendly. Also, driving around just the area within a 3 mile radius was so cool. All the back roads going through the neighborhoods, reminded us of visiting ski villages like Telluride 30 years ago. From the front door you were 15 minutes to the ski village and 15 minutes to downtown Taos. This is the perfect location for visiting Taos. Each night unwinding in the hot tub with amazing clear sky views. I have to also mention the layout of the house. It truly was perfect for the family, or families, to get away. The main living room with a huge sitting area up against the window was so awesome. Everything was great. Have to mention the Webber Grill, perfect for cooking out. Again, everything was great, everything was perfect. We had such a great time. Thank you so much.

Lovely House with great amenities

We enjoyed our stay and the house and property was beautiful and perfect location (very close to Taos ski valley). Every dish we needed for cooking was in the kitchen which was great since we were eating in due to the pandemic. The only drawback was the mice. They kept my extended relatives in the master room and in the bed with queen-sized bed room awake the whole first night. The property manager said they were in the walls and it is to be expected in the country that mice will seek shelter from the cold. My mom saw a little brown mouse run through the kitchen so we had to purchase stuff to make sure all of our food was protected. The owner called back a couple days later but I was unable to talk to him due to bad reception on the ski slopes. Overall, it is a magical location and a lovely adobe house. I would stay there again despite the mice.
