We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. It was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and full of character, with the terrace being a real highlight... such a lovely place to relax after exploring Marseille. The location is also incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Gare Saint-Charles.Vera was a fantastic host: welcoming, helpful and full of great recommendations. And a huge thank you to Noemie for letting us back into the apartment incredibly early in the morning when we realised on our way to the airport that we had accidentally left our passports inside - and had already locked the door! She went completely above and beyond to help us, and we were so grateful! We would absolutely recommend this apartment!

Great stay!

Vera is a lovely host, very welcoming and responsive. The apartment is great with lots of space and character and the outside terrace space is perfect for outside meals! Would definitely recommend.

Easy to reach and comfortable to stay

We spend two nights with our family (2 adults, 3 kids) in Veras apartment and it was a great experience.It is very near to St. Charles train station so we didnt have to carry our lugagge very far. We especially enjoyed the sunny terrace! Merci!

Beautiful Terrace and Great Host

Our host was so kind and and knowledgeable about things to do in Marseille. The terrace is very pretty. I felt like we had everything that we needed.

A wonderful host and a perfect accomodation

This was a fantastic apartment. Our host was wonderful, providing great information. The apartment has a beautiful patio, which we enjoyed every evening. The location is great, with just a five minute walk to the train station. We will be back.

Lovely rooftop apartment, close to train station

Lovely apartment with a terrace, beautiful. Roomy, everything supplied, and apartment matched the photos. Vera was lovely and happy to answer our questions, give recommendations and had lots of maps/visitor guides for us to use. We enjoyed our stay.

Hidden Gem

The loft apt had a/c, a full kitchen, and the most picturesque terrace you could ask for. Vera was an absolute delight with the easiest check in/out process. The building isn't in the downtown area, but still close enough to walk with plenty of shops on the route.

The property is beautiful with a huge terrace, air conditioning, and lots of space. Very clean and Vera was wonderful checking us in. She gave us great food recommendations and helped us navigate the city. Overall, a great experience and we hope to be back in the future.

Stay for the Olympics

This apartment exceeded our expectations for this Marseille trip! The space is lovely inside and on the terrace. Vera, as a host, was gracious, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. We came to Marseille for a few days for the Olympic sailing and some sight seeing. For us, the location by the train station was ideal and we were able to use public transit to navigate around the city.

We spent five days in the apartment so had plenty of time to see how well it worked as a base for exploring Marseille. Firstly, I have to say what a great host Vera was. She had really prepared for our stay and supplied a useful range of leaflets, bus numbers and other information plus an excellent overall brochure which recommended places to visit and eat etc. The flat was very well-stocked on a replace as use basis and the terrace, with its beautiful range of plants, was wonderful for eating out given the lovely weather we had. The rooms were all comfortably equipped and decorated in an eclectic way which made the apartment so much more characterful than the normal blank rental canvas. Finally, the location worked for us being only about 5-10 minutes' walk from the Gare Saint Charles from which it's possible to pick up the Metro system, buses and trains to places like Cassis (well worth a visit). In terms of walking to the Vieux Port it's around 25 minutes. I would thoroughly recommend Vera's apartment and would be happy to stay there again.

Great Terrace & Host

Apartment is located close to St Charles Station which is very convenient, but perhaps not the most attractive of neighbourhoods. Highlight of the property is the gorgeous terrace where you can chill out and soak up the sun in private. Vera was a great host making us feel welcome when we arrived and providing plenty of local information. Overall I would recommend this property.

Brilliant Accommodation!

We had an excellent 4 days in this flat at very good location great public transportation. Metro (underground) and buses from the train station, which is 2 minutes walking distace. We were 3 small kids 3 adults overthere. But we walk almost all the time. Véra filled the fridge with milk, eggs and bought bread and cornflakes for the kids. We got maps and kind tourist guidence what to see from Véra. Nice and tidy rooms we had. Privare covered parking in the opposite building. I can just recommend this flat strongly! Thank you Natasha and Véra for your support and a lovely time in Marseille! See you again

Virtually ideal

In all my ventures with VRBO, I have never had a better experience with an owner. Ms. Tur is simply wonderful. She met us at check in, gave us an experienced and friendly welcome to Marseille, gave us great information on the unit and the area and continued to be in touch with helpful information throughout the stay. No one could have done more to make our time better. She is golden! As for the unit, it is wonderfully located by the main train station - therefore we had an easy time hauling luggage. While a bit of a walk to many of the main sights, it's not that far and we were able to see virtually everything we desired. There is a wonderful balcony for after sunset and, being on the top floor, the breeze was a delight. Add on, the place was fully stocked with everything we needed. Let me share one quick story to underscore how wonderful is Ms. Tur: late the night before we were to leave, we were informed our mid-morning flight was canceled and we were rebooked into a crack-of-dawn one to make our connection home. Having to scramble to make changes, Ms. Tur jumped in and helped us find transportation to the airport for 4am! Without her, it would have been stressful and chaotic. She was a lifesaver. I cannot speak more highly of an owner. She saved us so much trouble and we are deeply grateful.

Nous étions 5 personnes dont deux couples. Nous avons passé 10 jours dans ce grand appartement. Il est bien équipé, chaleureux, doté d'une invitation constante au voyage dans sa décoration originale et personnelle. Il était très agréable de se retrouver sur la grande terrasse fleurie (un grand dans cette location) après nos longues balades dans cette ville attachante. Les bonnes literies nous ont permis de bien récupérer. Seul petit bémol, le quartier est un peu bruyant. Car Marseille est une grande Ville, vivante et accueillante. Cet appartement à 5 minutes à pied de la gare, du vieux port, de la Cannebière, du Panier et du métro est très bien situé pour découvrir les richesses de la ville et de ses alentours. Un grand merci à Véra, pour sa disponibilité et ses sympathiques conseils pour faciliter notre séjour et à Julie qui nous a accueillis à notre arrivée. A bientôt peut être. JE RECOMMANDE CETTE LOCATION.

Die Wohnung ist wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Die Terrasse ist ein Traum. Gross, viele Pflanzen, Liegestuhl, Hollywoodschauckel, grossen Tisch, Sonnenstoren, bei Dunkelheit viele bunte Lämpchen, die eine schöne Atmosphäre machen. Die Wohnung ist im obersten Stock mit Lift bequem erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet. Es hat eine Nespressokaffeemaschine. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique dans ce grand appartement plein de charme et de confort. Véra est un hôte adorable, aux petits soins et ravie de partager son amour pour sa ville et tous les petits conseils qui vous donnent l'impression d'être chez vous à Marseille. L'appartement est en outre très calme malgré la proximité immédiate de la gare. Tout était vraiment parfait. Je recommande sans hésiter.
