Beautiful views of lake fascinating to watch changes over the day and with the weather. Pool really lovely albeit it is a bit of a trek from the house. House itself is lovely and spacious with great living space and huge windows/sliding doors with lake views. Be aware only three bedrooms have air conditioning (which was good) with fourth in basement cooler (with garden access) but only with fan. Very helpful and responsive host.

The views from this house are priceless - we loved having morning coffee outside and ending the day dining outside. Even the one day it rained - the views were spectacular. The kitchen is well stocked to make a family meal. The air conditioners in the upstairs bedrooms made sleeping more comfortable. The pillows and towels were adequate. It was a little too cool for us to swim - but having the pool on property during the summer months would be nice.We used Ranco as a base for visiting the towns around the lake. Check the lake levels for ferry info Ranco was closed during our visit. But the drive to the Angera ferry stop was really easy. Overall the pictures and descriptions match very well. We would stay here again.

Overall a lovely house, garden and pool with stunning views. Information pack was very useful. Owners son (Guido) was extremely helpful. Perhaps a bit more guidance on the use of electrical appliances would be appreciated.

This is a fantastic property in a beautiful location. The owner, Sebastiano & his son Guido were so helpful and welcoming to their property, meeting us on arrival & showing us where everything was etc.Any time I had a question, I could message on WhatsApp & get a speedy reply. The property itself is even more amazing than in the photos on the site. There were 7 of us on this trip, and we all had plenty of space. We had wonderful meals in the garden by a lovely tree, and enjoyed swimming in the pool, playing games in the games room and just relaxing. The grounds (garden) are very big, with a lovely 'infinity' pool at the bottom of them.If you are using a car for your trip, the access road to the property is narrow, so I don't recommend you having a huge vehicle.Ranco is a lovely, quiet village on Lake Maggiore and a great base to explore the area (we drove in to Switzerland twice)I cannot recommend this highly enough & hopefully we will get another chance to visit.

Stay in Ranco

The property itself was in great condition, very clean and was very comfortable. It had all the amenities you would need for a weeks stay. The views from the villa were beautiful, with seating for dining indoors and outdoors set up to get the best value of these. Thank you to Sebastiano, for making our stay so comfortable. They detailed visitor guide you compiled gave us great information of where to go and what to see in the area as well as the great tips on where to eat! We will be visiting again in the future.

Top family holiday resort!

Everything is as good as in the deskription and the reviews! Everything is clean and new. Fantastic view from both the house and the very big garden. We were 4 children aged 2, 3, 4 and 5 and 6 adults and we all had a perfect vacation. The is space for all - including privacy. The pool is perfect! Very convenient with bars, restaurants and a supermarket in the area.

What an amazing place to spend a couple of summer weeks! A well-equipped villa with a wonderful open-plan living area, big garden, large pool and a view that takes your breath away. We could easily walk downhill to the village but be prepared for an uphill return. Communication with the owner was excellent and all questions were answered promptly and fully. Even at the busiest time of year, the area around Ranco is not overcrowded, with plenty to do and easy boat access to the busier areas of the lake for those who want it. We will be back!

Late Spring in the Italian Lakes

The views from the villa over Lake Maggiore were wonderful. The gardens were well kept and were complemented by the garden furniture which we used for breakfast every morning, most often to the call of a cuckoo. The villa was clean, well-appointed and all the rooms were spacious, with shutters to reduce the heat during the day. It was situated well away from any noise of traffic but only a ten minute walk from Ranco and a short drive from a well-stocked supermarket. The swimming pool was secluded and free of leaves or other garden debris. It was furnished with a parasol and sun loungers on a clean tiled surround. All in all, the villa was ideal for a relaxing family holiday and proved to be a good base from which to visit places of interest on and around the lake.

Fantastic Villa with a world class view

We were a group of 10 consisting of 6 adults and 4 teenagers. Overall the villa is fantastic. The view over the lake is about as good as it gets. The grounds are spacious and the pool is pretty big and could accommodate all of us. We never felt on top of one another. Inside it’s spacious and over three floors with three spacious bedrooms on the first floor., a single on the ground floor and a double on the lower ground. The kitchen is very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. Communication with the owners was first class and they were really helpful. The town of Ranco is very small but there are three restaurants within walking distance, a great bar on the lake, a brilliant deli and a pharmacy. You can also get the ferry to other parts of the lake. The only minor niggle is the water pressure which can be a little weak if two people are having a shower at the same time… but it really was no big deal for us. All in all a great villa and would have no hesitation to recommend or stay again.

Weiteres ok.

Traumvilla

Was soll ich sagen.
