Antigua casa de campo del siglo XVIII transformada en una hermosa y cómoda casa de campo, la villa "IL GREGGIO" se encuentra cerca de Avigliano Umbro, un pequeño pueblo típico de Umbría con todas las comodidades (supermercado a 7 minutos a pie, bancos, correos, tiendas, restaurantes ...). Es un punto de partida ideal para visitar las magníficas ciudades antiguas de Todi (aprox. 20 km), Orvieto (aprox. 50 km), Narni (aprox. 25 km) y Spoleto (aprox. 38 km). Roma está a una hora y media por carretera, los trenes a Roma salen cada hora desde la estación de Narni / Amelia.

La propiedad cuenta con una magnífica parcela de aproximadamente tres hectáreas (con olivar, huerto, huerto, etc.), un hermoso panorama del campo circundante y una amplia terraza cubierta equipada con un horno de leña para pizzas. y una barbacoa, ideal para pasar agradables veladas con familiares o amigos. Disfrute de unas vacaciones soleadas en las tumbonas junto a la magnífica piscina climatizada de aprox. 100 m2, en una zona vallada, donde puede refrescarse después de tomar el sol.

La casa y su anexo pueden alojar a un máximo de 15 personas + 2 niños menores de 4 años (hay dos cunas y dos sillas para bebés).

La casa principal de 400 m2 tiene capacidad para 10 personas. Encontrará en la planta baja, una gran sala de estar con chimenea, TV vía satélite y reproductor de CD / DVD, un gran comedor / cocina totalmente equipada, una despensa con congelador y nevera, un cuarto de servicio con lavadora y secadora, un escritorio / habitación de invitados con un cómodo sofá cama de 1m60 de ancho, baño en suite y arriba, cuatro habitaciones dobles (una con cama de matrimonio de 1m60, tres con dos camas individuales) cada una con su baño en suite.

Un anexo de 80 m2 ubicado entre la casa principal y la piscina puede alojar hasta 5 personas. Ofrece una sala de estar con 1 cómodo sofá cama de 1m60 de ancho, 1 sillón cama convertible, un dormitorio doble con 2 camas individuales y un baño. En la parte posterior del anexo, hay una pequeña habitación con fregadero para almacenar los artículos de la piscina y una ducha / WC.

La propiedad tiene un total de 4 plazas de aparcamiento (dos de las cuales están a la sombra). Aire acondicionado en el anexo y en todas las habitaciones de la casa. Mosquiteras en todas las ventanas. Acceso gratuito a internet en la casa.

Dream stay

The house and grounds are beautifully kept, there is everything that you need for a fabulous holiday. The pool is massive and the surrounding area is perfect for lounging. The house itself is huge and plenty of space to find a quiet corner. There’s table tennis, table football, volleyball if you are feeling sporty. Just perfect

Amazing!!

What a lovely property! We enjoyed our week here so much! Beautifully appointed house set in fantastic grounds. Great swimming pool! Excellent communication throughout- including the great team locally who were friendly and very helpful. A minor problem with an air conditioning unit was rapidly resolved. The house is within easy walking distance of the little town and the small supermarket and bars and restaurants. We would love to return in the future.

A Great Holiday

We enjoyed a wonderful family holiday at Greggio in Umbria. I would highly recommend this property, it is a beautiful location with stunning views. The property is spacious and well equipped, it is close to a small town with supermarkets, shops, bars etc. The owner could not have been more helpful ahead of our holiday and during our stay the housekeeper, who speaks good English, was always available to answer any questions and give advice. A highlight of our stay was when Leonardo, a local pizza restaurant owner, came to Greggio to give us the full 'pizza experience'! He prepared and cooked an amazing selection of delicious pizzas for us. I hope that we will be able to make a return visit to to this lovely destination.

This property fulfilled my expectations

Me, my husband and our family stayed there for a week. We are eight adults and seven children age 2 months to 10 years. Each family had their own room and bathroom. The kitchen, living room and the terrace was big enough for us all. The swimming pool and it's surrounding was also a great success. Isabella, the contract person is one of a kind, she was so nice and was eager to help us in anyways. The surrounding areas are nice and there are few but very good restaurants in the neighborhood. I can definitely recommend this place.

Just wonderful!

We were a party of 11 people including my six year old grandson. The villa itself exceeded our expectations and we were thrilled with its spaciousness. The kitchen was fully kitted out with everything you might need. The bedrooms were beautifully clean, light and airy and air-conditioned, which was a blessing as the the outside temperatures were almost unbearable during the day. Some family members ventured out each day, but we all enjoyed relaxing at the villa and by the pool, which, incidentally, is huge and in the late afternoon its temperature was like bathwater! There is a shallow end of the pool but our six year old couldn't touch the bottom which is something to bear in mind if you have little ones. He was more than happy playing on the steps and jumping into the waiting arms of various aunties and uncles though. On our last night, we'd all run out of steam and made a last minute decision to order a meal to be delivered. Orietta managed to produce enough food for nine people including two vegetarians at very short notice which was superb. Finally, the communications with the owner and Noemi, who was our go to in Avigliano, were first class. Nothing was too much trouble and any questions were answered promptly. If you are considering Il Greggio, we would all highly recommend it. It's not cheap but it is worth it.

Der perfekte Ort für mehrere Familien zum Erholen

Die Bilder und die Beschreibung geben das ganze Haus nur unvollständig wieder. Es ist einfach fantastisch. Die Größe des Hauses ist beeinduckend, Das Grundstück mit dem sehr gepflegten Garten ist der Hammer. Der Obst- und Gemüsegarten aus dem wir uns jeden Tag bedienen konnten wird täglich gepflegt, auch die Eier von den Hühnern kamen jeden Tag pünktlich. Der Pool ist in seiner Größe einfach nicht verbessbar. Dazu qualitativ gute Liegen, ein Raum für Luftmatratzen und eine Dusche mit Toilette am Pool: was will man mehr. Alle Personen, mit den wir zu tun hatten, waren ausgesprochen hilfreich, sehr nett und hatten überdies für jeden Ausflug auch noch die richtigen Tipps parat. Die Lage lädt zum chillen ein, aber man kann viele Ausflügen, nach Rom, Peruggia, Orietto oder in das kleine Sismano machen. Auch im Ort sind alle Menschen sehr freundlich und der Supermarkt und das nächste Restaurant leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es waren 2 perfekte Wochen von denen wir noch lange zehren werden. P.S.: Das Angebot einer Pizza-Party am Pizza-Ofen im Nebenhaus sollte man unbedingt annehmen. Soetwas ist selbst im Pizzaland Italien noch eine kulinarische Besonderheit.

Perfect villa for families

Would really recommend this place, we were four families together (15 persons in total) and the property is perfect for a group like this. Beautiful house, amazing surroundings, big pool and overall very spacious both inside and outside. The vegetable garden was also amazing to use in the fantastic kitchen area. Filippo was also great and took care of all our questions in a great way! Thank you

Best holiday home ever stayed in

The property itself was fabulous, everything had been thought of from the room sizes, lighting to the spacious surroundings and facilities available. Anne-Marijke was very prompt at answering questions and the local team were great, they helped with all our questions too. We were two families and all had a great time. The village is just a 5-10 minute walk and both restaurants and the people were so nice. We highly recommend this property.

A perfect villa for a family vacation

My extended family, 15 people in total, went on a vacation in Umbria and stayed in this wonderful villa for a whole week. The pictures you see don't lie - the house is completely renovated and feels brand new, but with a rustic atmosphere. The rooms are very spacious, all en-suite, with spacious kitchen, living-room and dining areas (inside and outside). We had everything we needed. The garden is huge and well looked after, and the swimming pool is fantastic (but without a shallow area for the kids). The house is located in a rural area with spectacular views - we ate every dinner outside... A 20-30 minutes ride in rural roads will take you to the highway, with easy access to the main attractions in Umbria. We also spent a day in Rome (easy access by train). The few problems we had were very quickly taken care of by the nice supervisors, Orietta and Noemi. All in all - a perfect villa for a family vacation, very recommended!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Some 20 years ago, we started spending our summer vacations in Italy, renting houses first in Tuscany and then in Umbria which we now consider our second home. We were often frustrated by the standard of comfort of the houses we rent, therefore, we decided in 2004, to buy a dilapidated old farm that we could completely renovate and furnish according to our standards. We are happy that our guests can also enjoy it.
In 2009, our house was listed on Abritel but thereafter, and for many years, we put the house for rent through an agency, which explains why we have few reviews on line.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The place is quiet and yet, close to all amenities.
The view on the hills and the mountains is spectacular at all times of the day.
In season, our vegetable garden is at your disposal and you may help yourself from one of our fig trees.
Our large swimming pool is heated by solar panels and the whole area is fenced for safety reasons.
We renovated the Greggio as a private house and not just to rent it and carefully chose its fixtures and fittings. Beds are very good, and guests who like to cook will see that the kitchen is very well equipped.
