Beach Walk 003 es su sueño de vacaciones hecho realidad.
Este tranquilo complejo junto a la playa se encuentra a solo 1 calle de la playa. Por lo tanto, está lo suficientemente cerca como para disfrutar del ambiente de la playa, pero no tan cerca como para no poder escapar cuando las cosas se llenan. Las atracciones locales, restaurantes y tiendas están a poca distancia en coche y el nuevo parque acuático Schlitterbahn está a la vuelta de la esquina.
Te encantará relajarte junto a la piscina en esta piscina de agua salada cristalina que se calienta para disfrutar durante todo el año. Hay grandes toldos que ofrecen una gran opción de sombra y amplias tumbonas, sillas y mesas para disfrutar. Los huéspedes adoran las múltiples parrillas en todo el complejo, las redes WiFi privadas para cada propiedad y tienen dos lugares de estacionamiento reservados justo afuera de su puerta principal.

INTERIOR
En el interior encontrará muebles cómodos y electrodomésticos modernos de acero inoxidable en la cocina bien equipada. Al entrar, encontrará una amplia sala de estar, cocina y comedor que es ideal para pasar un momento agradable con familiares y amigos. También abajo hay un dormitorio principal, baño completo y sala de lavandería. Arriba están las dos habitaciones de invitados, un baño compartido y un altillo. Hay camas King size y televisores de alta definición en cada habitación, también hay dos camas plegables de tamaño doble, un sofá cama Queen en la sala de estar y un futón de tamaño completo en el loft de arriba, con capacidad para 12 invitados.

Mixed feelings

As far as staying at padre we always enjoy our stay there, however we did have a few problems with this property. First off the beds were horrible. They were hard and not very comfortable. Second the couches in the living room were very wore out and broken down so you actually felt like you were sitting in the floor. Also one day it rained most of the day so we decided to rent a couple movies out of Redbox and go back and watch them. My boy went to put it in the DVD player and there was a porno that previous guest apparently had left in the player. So I had to explain to him that it wasn't a movie for him and disposed of it. Also after we tried to watch the movies we found that the player was broken and would not play any movies. As far as staying again in this property I will not. But might try another property next time. Thank you

Well there is no excuse for the DVD incident. I certainly apologize, guess that's just one more reason we should no have DVD players anymore. The beds actually get a lot of compliments but beds are something one person loves and next person hates. We are aware the couches are in poor condition and do plan on having those replaced before summer 2020. Thank you for the feedback.

A Little Tired and Worn, Lousy Emergency Management

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we enjoyed our stay on Padre Island, despite the confusion with North Padre Island, Corpus Christi, and South Padre Island. My bad. The property is worn and tired. The stained concrete floors are sticky around the dining table, even after our repeated scubbings. You might want to get used to the black grung on the bottom of your bare feet, the floors are filthy and resist cleaning. It might have been a great solution for a beach property, but a poor install shortened the floor life considerably. The mattresses on ALL the beds are deplorable, the couch is ready for the landfill, or recycling as you prefer. Specifically, the mattresses were a source of pain for everyone – even the kids. Now the Management….. not professional. We experienced a power outage in our unit – among many. Yet several of the units in the same facility and most of the surrounding properties had power and AC. It was 95 Degrees F outside – not much better on the inside. I called the Property Management. I asked about the emergency back - up generator. The young lady needed to speak with the person in authority. She relayed that the power outage was not their fault, not their problem. This also included the fire alarm system not operational during the power outage. Seriously???? So with the improvements to the floor, beds, and furniture, and a power back-up, I would recommend. Otherwise, not so much.

Well we appreciate your feedback but it does seem over-exaggerated. The complex is 3 years old so it's hard to imagine it being "worn and tired." We'll certainly make sure those floors are mopped thoroughly, we haven't had any complaints on floors there since the vinyl flooring was laid down in the kitchen but we will certainly make sure it is getting thoroughly cleaned. The mattresses are actually something we get a lot of compliments on but mattresses are a personal preference item, what's great for one person is bad for another. The power outage affected the whole island and it was unfortunate but out of our control. It started to come on at some complexes but not others and the the complex owner was actually there at the same time and he had to endure this issue until 1:00am as well. I'm sorry but it just wouldn't be possible for us to provide an emergency back-up generator to every property at the complex. We're certainly disappointed to hear you had such a disappointing time but we do appreciate your feedback.

Displeased.

The outside chairs were held together by duck tape. There were nail clippings on litchen floor when we arrived. The living room tv didn’t work first two out of three days. The ice machine didn’t work. The kitchen wasn’t well equipped like described.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was not what we expected. The pool was too small for the amount of rentals on the property. Some of the rentals had direct access to the pool from their property and they seemed to think the pool only belonged to them. The parking was inadequate. I could not get any sleep because the condensing unit for the AC System was right outside the bedroom window and kept waking me up every time it would cycle on. When we first got there the rental smelled like insect spray and dampness. Besides that the rentals beds, furniture, restrooms and kitchen ware was on point. Easy to get everywhere especially the beach.

Everything is well managed, clean, and overall a great property! If you stay in this particular unit though, make sure and bring a can opener. It doesn't have one and don't forget coffee filters!

The washer on the spin cycle started bouncing off the wall. Here is the scary part if not for my husband and my father in law finding out that the dryer hose had been kinked a fire could have started. They need to have people come in and look for things like this cause if not this could have ended really badly for someone.

The house was clean, we had plenty of towels, check in and out were a breeze, and there was plenty of helpful info left in the guest binder. It was a great location and very close to the beach, a nice fishing pier, horseback riding, and all the Padre Island restaurants. If I were to really stretch and look for something to complain about, it would be that we could only find 3 cereal bowls in the kitchen.

Great condo, super close to the beach

Walking in to the condo was perfect! It was clean and cool! The cool cement floors were fantastic to step on. There is a hose right by the front by the door to rinse off so you can keep most of the sand out of the place. Plenty of space to do everything. We had 4 families come in and it was plenty of room for all 12 of us, which included a 2 year old. Their are 3 bedrooms and a loft, but the loft is pretty tight. My brother ended up sleeping on the living room sofa instead of the loft; much more room. However, the loft was great for the kids. They went up there and played and left the adults on the first floor to drink and chat. :-) I was just thrilled with everything including the extra cots in the bedroom, which my 2 yr old grandson insisted on using. We got use of the washer and dryer; very helpful. Be sure to take your detergent. The kitchen had everything you needed, just bring your own food, spices, and containers.…..and lots of trashbags (If you eat like my family does) lol. There is a small covered patio in the back and you get 2 assigned parking spots. We had 4 vehicles, so everyone else parked on the street with everyone else. The customer service that Padre Escapes gave was the best! I also applaud their maintenance because they called me before my visit to let me know that they were doing some work to the condo. I would definitely book this condo again.

Things that need work: 1. Couch was dirty 2. Shower water pressure wasn't good. 3. No one was at the property to look at the issues. Despite sending emails and making calls no one showed up Also, the property was listed as 4BR. However, the property had only 3 BR. When I asked the property management team about it, they said it is the issue with the way AirBnB listed.

Thank you for your e-mail. Airbnb does list this as a 4 bedroom due to them classifying a loft as a 4th bedroom, it is truly a 3 bedroom with a loft. We do not have someone on site, we answered your calls and when you e-mailed us we called you back rather than e-mailing you. We also had our head of housekeeping show up to address your concerns, including the couch. The shower water pressure has never been an issue and is not something we see as an issue. If there were continual complaints about it we could understand your concern but it seems your personal preference is for a fire hydrant type of water pressure rather than a standard shower head. We do appreciate your feedback and hope we see you back again.
