Great location and pleasant stay

The apartment is in a quiet street close to a train station. Conveniently located within walking distance you have several restaurants and supermarkets. Owner was very responsive to any questions. It is located on the 5th floor with no elevator but honestly enjoyed the quiet afternoons after being sightseeing all day in the touristic parts of Paris.

Good walking distance plus going up fifth floors each floors have 18 steps mom had a bad leg so it was terrible there was no instructions for entertainment TV. Nice little place

We had a great time staying here while in Paris with our family of 5. It can get a little tight when everyone is in the place for an extended period but that seems to be the case for most places in Paris. Everything came as described and Benoit communicated everything clearly. Overall it was a great time!

A great apartment

A very nice little apartment in a real Paris neighborhood, with good amenities and easy access to the rest of the city. Benoît was very helpful and easy to reach and the stay went very smoothly. A perfect choice for someone who wants to live like a Parisian --which does mean walking up many flights of stairs!

Just what we were looking for

The apartment was just as advertised and was an ideal location to see all parts of the city. Benoit met us at checkin and walked us through the apartment. For a family that enjoys to cook for itself, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need to prepare a meal. The only item to make sure you take into account is that the apartment is on the 5th floor (with no elevator). Just make sure to make your trips to the grocery store or patisserie count as you don’t want to trek up and down the stairs too many times. Overall, this was a great stay with a couple of teenage kids. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thanks Benoit!

Great apartment in a lovely neighborhood

We loved our stay in Benoit's apartment. The neighborhood was a pleasant escape from the touristy areas of Paris and had the feel of a real neighborhood, with its boulangerie and cafes, fruit stands and kids coming and going to school. I found the apartment plenty spacious for two adults and our two teenage sons (and considering that it is in Paris.) We mostly were just there to sleep after exploring the city all day. A pleasant breeze flowed through the huge open windows at night. You might want to choose somewhere else if you are challenged by a lot of stairs. When we needed more space, we just slipped down the street for a walk through Parc Butte Chaumont. I would definitely stay here again, for much longer.

Enjoyed our stay

It is a nice apartment in a good location within the city limits and close to a Metro stop (line 11, 5 minutes walk), which made it easy to get around Paris. Apartment is on the 5th floor but there is no elevator - this wasn't a problem for us. Lack of A/C didn't bother us either since the temperature was high 50s to 60s during our stay. Bathroom is tiny but we adjusted quickly. There is a very nice bakery very close to this apartment which has delicious pastries. We ate our breakfast from there everyday of our stay. Host provided us detailed directions to reach the apartment and with clear check-in instructions. We were asked if we would clean the apartment ourselves when we leave or opt to leave 40€ cash on the table for cleaning. We opted to leave 40€ cash for cleaning.

Excellent area

Great area with lots of transportation and food stores ,very easy to move around with public transportation , good apartment but nobody mentioned us the 100 steps to get to the apartment , no elevator ,owner should pay more attention to comunications with guests , nobody told us how to open the main door to exit the building , we were there without the possibility to exit for more than 2 hours , we message the owner about it but it took to much time to get an answer but rhe time who received an answer the problem was already solved, we were lucky that the mailman enter the building and explained us how to open it from inside

Le pire vacancier !! Retrouver son appartement dévasté n'arrive pas qu'aux autres!! Incompréhensible comportement, il y a effectivement un bouton très visible pour ouvrir la porte de l'immeuble et sortir dehors. Comment ne pas le voir ??? Quant au délai de réponse à cette personne, il n'a pas été de 2 heures mais de 5 minutes !!! Il n'y a certe pas d'ascenseur, mais cela est écrit très clairement dans l'annonce !! Depuis son arrivée dans l'appartement, je n'ai aucune réponse à mes messages. En seulement 4 jours, beaucoup de choses ont été cassées ou dégradées et il à fallut plus de 5 heures pour remettre l'appartement en état tellement il y avait eu de dégradations. Un bazar gigantesque mis dans tout l'appartement !! Un état de salleté inimaginable, lave linge, poubelle, meuble cassé, plans de travail abîmé..... vaisselle non lavée, murs souillés..... Incompréhensible comportement et commentaire mensongé en réaction à de mauvaises raisons!! Worst vacationer!! Finding your devastated apartment does not only happen to others!! Incomprehensible behavior, there is indeed a very visible button to open the door of the building and go outside. How not to see it??? As for the response time to this person, it was not 2 hours but 5 minutes!!! There is certainly no elevator, but it is written very clearly in the announcement !! Since his arrival in the apartment, I have had no response to my messages. In just 4 days, a lot of things were broken or damaged and it took more than 5 hours to restore the apartment to its original state, there had been so much damage. A gigantic mess put in all the apartment!! An unimaginable state of dirtiness, washing machine, trash can, broken furniture, damaged worktops..... unwashed dishes, soiled walls..... Incomprehensible behavior and false comment in reaction to the wrong reasons!!

Lovely apartment in Paris!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and enjoyed our time here so much! It’s very accessible by metro (the apartment is a 5 min walk away from a stop), close to a magnificent park (Buttes des Chaumont), and is right next to a lovely bakery. The apartment is small, so I would not recommend staying here with more than 3 people. For us, it was lovely! The only thing about our stay that could have been improved is that I wish the expectations for how clean to leave the apartment were advertised somewhere in the listing. The owner’s expectations are extensive and specific. We were happy to leave the place clean, it just would have been nice to have known earlier when we weren’t stressing about catching our flight home. I booked this via the Vrbo app, and looked back at the listing, and couldn’t find them anywhere in the listing. Other than this, we loved our stay here!

Nice Apartment in Quiet Neighborhood

We stayed in the apartment for 6 nights. The apartment is located in eastern Paris. The neighborhood is relatively quiet. There are good restaurants located within a 5-minute walk. A real perk is the bakery located right on the corner below the apartment. It has a great variety of pastries. The Butte Chaumont Park is located 2 blocks away. We walked the entire park. It is a nice place to see views of the city and interact with Parisians on a morning and evening walk. The closest subway station is Pyrenees Station. It is located about 7 minutes from the apartment. There is no elevator in the station. The escalator going down was not in operation while we were there. However, the escalator going up as operational. There is a flight of stairs that you have to take to reach the street. However, it was manageable, even with two suitcases. A Metro ride to Chatelet Station is about 15 minutes. Chatelet Station is a large shopping center and is walking distance from Notre Dame. The Metro ride to the Eiffel Tower is about 35 minutes. Though the apartment is not located in "central Paris", we enjoyed the neighborhood very much. The commute to get to central Paris was easy. It was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle each evening. The inside of the apartment is well equipped. As is typical for Parisian apartments, there is no wasted space. However, the bedroom and living room are a nice size. The kitchen is well enough equipped for cooking meals. We cooked breakfast each day after picking up croissants from the bakery. We also stocked the fridge with sodas and San Pellegrinos for our daily outings. Keep in mind, the apartment is located on the sixth floor (labeled the fifth floor in Paris). The walk up the stairs could be an issue for some. However, the view from the apartment is pleasant. In the evening, you can hear the activity from the apartments in the Simon Bolivar Square. The sounds range from people talking, cooking, practicing musical instruments, and TVs playing various shows. Though the sounds can clearly be heard with the windows open, when we closed the windows, the apartment was quiet. I recommend this apartment for your stay in Paris.

Una buena estancia

Somos una familia con 3 niños de 5, 8 y 9 años. Hemos pasado 6 días en agosto. Es un típico apartamento parisino ( 5ª planta sin ascensor), bien equipado, con una buena situación, buena comunicación por metro con el centro, muchos servicios cerca (panadería espectacular)y con aparcamiento!!! Un lujo en Paris. Hemos tenido un pequeño problema con la limpieza pero ya lo hemos hablado con el propietario. Benoit ha sido muy atento en todo momento y eficiente en las comunicaciones. ¡Una buena estancia!

Apartamento en Combat, París

Somos una familia con tres niños de 11, 9 y 5 años. Pasamos una semana a mediados de Agosto de 2022 en este apartamento típico parisino, que se ajusta 100% a la descripción, fotos y comentarios ya existentes en el anuncio, lo cual para mí es fundamental a la hora de elegir un alojamiento, sin sorpresas. Como indica, debes tener en cuenta que es un 5° sin ascensor y que la cama para el tercer niño es un pequeño colchón en el suelo, así como que no tiene aire acondicionado. La estación de metro está cerca (Pyrenees), con lo cual puedes moverte por París (sin estar céntrico está dentro de la ciudad), al lado de un McDonald's; y el aparcamiento (amplio) también está cerca, en otro edificio, e incluido en el precio. Hay un Carrefour City próximo, panadería justo debajo y otros supermercados y frutería. El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario, está cuidado, es funcional, y el espacio en el mismo está perfectamente aprovechado. Las indicaciones y comunicación con Benoit son precisas y fluidas. El barrio es residencial y seguro, con el bonito parque des Buttes-Chaumont próximo. La cama del dormitorio de matrimonio es cómoda y amplia. Lo recomendaría en los términos expuestos en este comentario, y si viajas en coche el aparcamiento es un plus, más aún en Paris!

Es un apartamento muy acogedor y coqueto. Tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días en París. Hay supermercados al lado, el metro a 5 minutos andando, al paso de mis tres niños, nos ha encantado. La proxima vez que volvamos, repetiremos seguro. ¡Muchas gracias Benoit!

Paris ist eine Reise wert

Wir haben unseren 1 wöchigen Parisaufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war für 4 Personen klein, aber es war alles vohanden, was man braucht. Gleich am Eck gibt es eine sehr gute Bäckerei. Da wir mit dem Auto nach Paris gefahren sind, war der Garagenplatz für uns ein großer Pluspunkt dieser Wohnung. Ich kann die Unterkunft bestens weiterempfehlen.

Superlage in schönem Stadtteil

SiebenTage in Paris in dieser kleinen Wohnung kann man sehr gut aushalten als Familie mit Teenagern. Diese Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht wenn man tagsüber sowieso unterwegs ist. Einzig bleibt mir zu mehr bemerken im Bad tropft ein Siphon und dort sollte beizeiten auch mal was erneuert werden. Hervorragend ist die Lage mit der Nähe zu den U-Bahn-Stationen Pyrené und Belville. Hat darüber hinaus auch sehr viel zu bieten viele kleine nette Restaurants und Bars.
