Localizado en el río de Deschutes en Sunriver es un amplio, retroceso de estar, 3 dormitorios vacaciones perfectas en casa! Excellent House in the quiet part of Sunriver

The house was perfect and had spectacular views of the river and wildlife. The cul-de-sac was quiet and being off the main road resulted in most people on the path residing in the immediate location.

Amazing view!

This is such a great house. Perfect for families. We had adults and two teens that enjoyed the space on the lower lever. Nice hot tub under cover. Great views from the giant windows from almost every room of the home.

Nice large place, needs some TLC updating,nice River access. Large rooms, great back view of river. Watch the stairs nor good hand railings, old deck boards need replacing, stove top-one burner out, small icebox dysfunctional, few large black ants, they don’t sting, plenty of bicycles. nice washer and dryer, funky maser bath got to,see it, great book collection for reading, a quite area,

Dad’s 80th Birthday Celebration

Fantastic location with huge viewing deck overlooking the River! Great amenities and accommodations. Bathroom fixtures & finishes are a bit dated. But when you’re in Sunriver, you should be spending most of your time outdoors anyways…. Use caution on the back steps leading to the jacuzzi. Some repairs needed on the loose boards. But overall, a fantastic stay!

Working Vacation

We loved Sunriver and will be back, but we will stay in a different property.This property is not in condition to be a rental property. The carpets are stained, exterior siding is missing and water damaged, there are signs of water leaks on the ceiling and walls, the decking has loose and raised boards creating trip hazards, the lower deck was covered in dirt with footprints from the hot tub attendant, and when the gas fireplace is turned on gas leaks from the valve located on the floor.The pictures show a dated but clean and well-maintained property. We don't mind dated, but this property was not worth the money we spent.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were 6 adults in our 60s/70s. We really loved this house. It has some quirky things about it that made it even more interesting. Every bedroom has a view. There are only 2 negatives I would mention. One is the stove/oven. Not intuitive. We finally found about 5 pages of instructions in the notebook. Maybe put a note on the few instructions that are near the stove that say refer to the manual. The other negative is that all the tvs are really small. Not what you would expect in this house. We normally don’t even watch tv so it wouldn’t have matter except there was an important Duck game on and we were all excited to watch it. We all huddled in front of it! Don’t let any of this stop you from staying there. It’s beautiful and we loved it.oh and the bike path is right out the door.

Sunriver Favorite!

As a family of 6 we’ve stayed at many different homes in Sunriver. We all agreed that 9 Siskin has been our favorite so far. The upstairs master bedroom and bath was perfect for grandparents while the downstairs provided privacy for parents and teens. The only recommendation we would have is to update the twin beds downstairs. Our grandchildren thought the mattresses weren’t very comfortable. This would not stop us from staying here again though! The view of the river is amazing! We loved the retro funkiness of the house too!

Fantastic Potential and Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a fantastic house with awesome views, but it needs some attention and upgrades to realize its full potential. The oven is workable, but challenging. The freezer, despite signage, appears to have a broken seal and didn't work properly. Some furniture (dining chairs) are very worn and feel dirty. Bedspreads also worn out. Primary shower literally looks and feels like a time capsule from the 80s. The grill was so old and dirty that the grease build up caught on fire and we had to manage. Despite, the house has great bones and fantastic light, windows, deck (needs replacing) and views that somewhat make up for the downsides. This house is a gem waiting for some mostly easy updates to make it truly awesome.

Favorite home we have stayed in in Sunriver

This home has so many great features. It’s large so the three generations we had there felt like they were not on top of each other. The deck and our view of the water were our favorite. The pictures don’t do it justice. We could actually walk down to the water and put our feet in. A few things to note. The house is stuck in the 90’s and needs some updating, especially the master bath but it all functioned well so we didn’t care. The beds are a little hard. We decided that if we rent it again we will bring mattress toppers with us. Every space is large and of high quality. We plan on renting here again.

Large living room and spacious deck were great for our gathering. Biggest problem was the kitchen. We couldn't get the stove to work right and the oven was useless. Kitchen desperately needs an update. One would never be able to cook for 8 on those appliances. Thankful for the BBQ. Also the dryer was out while we were there and never fixed. Could also use an extra refrigerator/freezer in the garage.

There are oven instructions on the right side of the range, I am sorry that you experienced issues with operation. Pet hair central

It is a shame about the pet hair, because it was the only flaw. This property is listed as a pet free rental. I have severe allergies. There is dog hair all over the house, particularly in the master bedroom. I could not use any of the bedding, and had to wash the sheets and pillow cases first. The bedding is coated in light brown fur and the carpets throughout the house are coated in fur. I had to use Benadryl all weekend. This is not an issue of housekeeping; the housekeepers did a great job cleaning the large house but they can't eliminate dog hair. I would never have stayed in a pet friendly rental. Why would you falsely advertise an expensive home like this?

Amy, We thank you for bringing this to our attention. Thank you for recognizing the hard work that our housekeepers do in the homes. We do not rent this home to guests with pets and therefore it is advertised correctly. We would hope that all policies were followed during a stay. With the safety protocol of no contact check in and check out, it does hinder the monitoring capability. We hope that will consider visiting Sunriver again.

The only issue was the outdoor chairs were rotten and if you were to sit on them, the fabric would tear. Unfortunately we couldn't lay out on the deck in those lounge chairs.

The River View says it all...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean, has plenty of room for all, kitchen is well stocked and the large deck facing the river makes the house a winner. The home had a couple of maintenance issues during our stay but Sunset Lodging took care of those items quickly. Also with all the windows in the house, we found the house will get warm in the summer and the AC has trouble keeping the upstairs at a comfortable temperature. Fans are provided to help with cooling which helps. There is adequate outdoor furniture on the deck but some chairs are in need of replacement. If one is looking for one of the best rivers in Sunriver, this is your house.

Family reunion at Siskin #9

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very good location and atmosphere to entertain 3 generations. The unit does need some maintenance. The maintenance person came out, was very helpful and appreciated knowing what wasn't working. He fixed a few things and said the other items would take more time.

Great house on the river

The property was great. Nice big open house with deck views of the river. Would definately stay here again.
