Highly recommend. Good location, Catherine is a great host. She will do whatever asked for. Smallish but well kept and a good apt. only thing I have to suggest is to improve the double bed.

The location of the apartment was perfect ,access to all the shop’s restaurants & buses was great . The apartment was superb ,it was well equipped , you could easily live there permanently . It also had the benefit of its own garage , I would highly recommend this apartment . the host was lovely and very helpful . Would highly recommend

Great Appartment, Great Location, Great Hostest

This is a great appartment with everything you need for a Holiday. The appartment itself is very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the appartment was a great place to relax after a long day skiing or seeing the town. The appartment had its own single car garage which was very conveinent. The location of the appartment was excellent in our opinion. It is in the restricted car area on the edge of city center which is good because you are less than a 5 minute walk away from some great shops, bakery and resteraunts but far enough away from the main nightclub area that you are not hearing any street noise at night. The hostest was great and everything was extremely simple and straight forward.

Amazing Apartment! Amazing location!

The owner, Catherine, was very communicative and accommodating from start to finish. The apartment is perfectly located in the Chamonix City Centre with incredible views from multiple points within the apartment. There is easy access to great restaurants, groceries and ski rentals. In addition, access to the slopes is easy and walkable. The apartment was incredibly cozy and comfortable--a great place to come back to after days of skiing, with a well-stocked kitchen and lovely fireplace. Catherine was super helpful with recommendations and transportation suggestions. We would highly recommend the following restaurants: Rose Dupont, Le Serac, and Le Fournil Chamoniard (Boulangerie for delicious and affordable croissant, etc...). As for non-skiing activities, Mer de Glace (Ice caves in a glacier) is not to be missed! Overall, such a great stay with a wonderful host! Highly recommend!

Un appartement assez spacieux (en regard des cages à poules qu'offrent divers prestataires commerciaux), une excellente localisation, une propriétaire cordiale et disponible ... Tout cela nimbé du charme de Chamonix et des massifs environnants Donc exactement ce que nous souhaitions.

Excellent séjour à Chamonix en été

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances à quatre dans cet appartement avec 2 enfants. L’appartement est dans un excellent état et très bien équipé en plein centre de Chamonix. Il donne sur la rue piétonne centrale et est vraiment très bien insonorisé pour bien dormir. Madame Chassin nous a très bien accueilli et a su nous donner de très bon conseils sur les balades accessibles avec les enfants. Nous y retournerons sûrement en été ou en hiver.

Best spot in Chamonix

We absolutely loved our stay! This apartment is in the perfect location if you like to be in the center of it all. Walk out the door and you are right in the pedestrian zone with all the charm and convenience of restaurants. But it’s also right on the edge slightly away from the bulk of the crowds which is nice and includes a private parking garage. Easy walk to the cable cars. Apartment was clean and cozy with the most incredible view of Mont Blanc from the balcony. You don’t even have to leave the house! We felt so at home including our 4 year old daughter. Catherine was so helpful with local information and ideas. Could not have been a better stay!

Belle vue et bel appartement bien placé

La vue est top depuis la terrasse ou le salon. L appartement est grand , agréable et calme . Il est en plus placé sur une rue piétonne a 2 pas de la gare aiguille du midi. Seul défaut : pour les enfants, il est un peu loin de la piscine ou du parc de jeux chamonix avec la luge (environ 15 min a pied) Merci d avoir accepté la réservation en last minute (j-2)

Logement idéal

Logement très bien situé, très bien équipé, tout confort et d'une propreté irréprochable. On s'y sent comme à la maison. Accueil charmant et chaleureux. Nombreux conseils pratiques pour un séjour très réussi. Nous le conseillons vivement et espérons y revenir.

Beautiful Apartment with stunning views

Well what can we say about our stay in Catherine's apartment? We have been to Chamonix many times staying in different Chalets and apartments each time. This apartment is by far our favourite and we would definitely return. The location being in the centre of town and with a big, secure garage to park in is just perfect. The apartment has huge windows and is very bright and sunny all round. The views from the whole apartment are just stunning; Mont Blanc, Aiguille du Midi, Brevent from the kitchen window, what more could you ask for? We had some fabulous sunny weather and we made use of the massive terrace that stretches the whole width of the apartment and faces Mont Blanc, we very much enjoyed watching the sunset with a nice glass of wine. We were a family of 5; the kids bedroom accommodates up to 4 people with very comfy beds and plenty of storage. The master bedroom is a good size, again with storage and a comfy bed. There is a large shower cubicle and sink area and a separate toilet. We loved how well equipped and modern the kitchen was, it's better supplied than our own at home. Nice touches like jam and butter supplied with lots of other things to use in the cupboards too, tea, coffee machine.., too much to list. Lovely and very spacious living and dinning area, wifi (which is excellent) and French TV - which actually improved our French, we even watched a few films and managed to understand them 😬👍. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area, we love Le Boccolatte and Le Tableé which are both very close to the apartment ( come out of the apartment and take the first right over the railway line, the restaurants are on the left), there is also a tiny (and we mean tiny) wine bar opposite the restaurants which serves very good wine at a reasonable price. Right opposite the apartment is a casino supermarket for daily needs or a Carrefor on the ring road. In summary, we would say this apartment had the perfect location, is clean, well laid out for a family or group of friends, very secure, fabulous views but above all a very lovely, and helpful owner. We loved staying in your apartment Catherine, we loved seeing all your family photos and appreciated all your advice and recommendations. We will definitely visit again sometime and will recommend your apartment to family and friends. Kindest regards, The Mitchell family.

Wonderful apartment with a wonderful host, in an ideal location.

We loved our stay at this apartment! Catherine, the host, was absolutely lovely - from the very start she was so prompt, helpful and friendly in all of her emails. She was there to meet us when she arrived, and she was just as lovely in person! She took the time to explain everything we needed to know and showed us around (including how and where to store our ski gear), and made sure we were comfortable before she left. The flat itself was perfect. The views out every window were just amazing (and there are a lot of windows, so that's a lot of views)! The sitting area was comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful fireplace (it is wood-burning, not gas - the glass slides up to access the fire, which was very cool!). Everything was very well equipped, from the kitchen to books and board games. We loved the decor, too, with large prints of ski and mountain-related photos - at least some of which I know Catherine took herself! It felt personal to the level that you were staying at the flat of an old friend, but not so personal that you felt you were invading someone's space (closets were empty for us to hang our things, for example). The location was also perfect; it's just at the south edge of the pedestrian area, so we had easy access to all the stores and restaurants while also having peace and quiet on the balcony. It was also excellent in terms of access to the bus stops. It's mid way between the Chamonix Sud and Chamonix Centre bus stops (closer to Sud) for easy access to all the wonderful skiing areas of the valley. Overall, we loved our stay and I recommend it without hesitation. We hope to return and stay here again! Thanks Catherine!

Séjour des plus confortables. Appartement situé au centre des commerces. Disposition impécable.

Difficile de trouver à redire tant tout est pratique, meubles de qualité, harmonie des lieux, cuisine et salle de bain ultra fonctionnelles. Vue dégagée sur le Mont-Blanc. Terrasse pour les beaux jours. Cerise sur le gâteau: très grande amabilité de la propriétaire. A recommander, absolument.

Homely apartment, great location in central Chamonix

This is the best equipped apartment we've ever rented in the Alps. Nice kitchen, lots of space for a family of five. Approximately five minutes walk to the ski bus (either Chamonix Centre or Chamonix Sud), in one end of the Main Street. Lots of shops and restaurants near by. Very friendly and helpful host. We would definitely come back if we go back to Chamonix.
