Raven Cottage cuenta con un salón con estufa de leña para pasar noches acogedoras. Hay un televisor y un reproductor de DVD bien abastecido con DVD para su disfrute y la banda ancha es lo suficientemente rápida como para captar programas en vivo en su tableta o dispositivo. La cocina / comedor es moderna con todas las comodidades, incluido un lavavajillas y seis asientos muy cómodamente.
Hay una gran sala de servicio / guardarropa con lavadora y secadora y más guardarropa / tienda interior para todo lo que nunca sabe dónde poner.

En la planta baja hay dos dormitorios; una habitación doble y una litera con camas matrimoniales que comparten un baño (bañera y ducha fija).

Arriba, al que se accede por una escalera de caracol de haya italiana, se encuentra el dormitorio principal con cama king size y baño con ducha. También hay una zona de lectura y juegos con futbolín.

Afuera hay un gran jardín completamente cerrado para que los niños jueguen y exploren con seguridad, y para que todos disfruten del magnífico paisaje de montaña y la vida silvestre local (incluidos cuervos, buitres, águilas doradas y marinas y, ocasionalmente, nutrias). El arroyo Allt nam Fitheach marca el límite este del jardín y se puede disfrutar desde la terraza sobresaliente. Hay un cobertizo para guardar bicicletas, etc. El bosque de Glenbrittle está frente al arroyo y ofrece excelentes caminatas y ciclismo con magníficas vistas de los Cuillins.

Raven Cottage was a quiet and peaceful home base for our stay on Skye. I would recommend this location for anyone wanting to step away from the areas full of tourists at the end of the day. There are beautiful nearby hikes, waterfalls, and beautiful stargazing at night if you're lucky enough to have clear skies.

A beautiful, cozy cottage in a very quiet area of Skye but with easy access to the sights. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. We would loved to have stayed longer to enjoy all the area has to offer. Highly recommended!

We did a lot of driving around during the day. Coming back to the cottage was one of the highlights of the day. We both appreciated how nice and clean and quiet the space was. There were beautiful views both coming and going. I am sure we will never forget our stay at Raven cottage.

Ravens Cottage 2025

If you want you a beautiful remote location for a relaxed family holiday, Ravens Cottage is the ideal location. The property is lovely and gave us a great base for many walks around the rugged yet beautiful landscape of Skye. We would highly recommend Ravens Cottage if you want to explore the Isle of Skye.

We had an amazing stay at Raven Cottage! There were four of us staying there for a nice, relaxing trip to the Isle of Skye, and we loved everything about it. We were looking for a remote location with things to do locally, and we also wanted somewhere that was close to some of the main sights on Skye. We loved the location, including the nearby loch, abbey ruins, and forest. We also weren't too far from most of the big-ticket items around the isle, so it was perfect for what we were hoping for. The cottage was well-maintained and had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the fireplace and how cozy everything was on rainy days. The host also had some excellent suggestions for places to eat and places to visit. Overall, a truly perfect visit, and we hope to stay at Raven Cottage again someday!

A wonderful place!

We loved our stay at Ravens Cottage! The drive is beautiful, the Fairy Pool and Talisker Beach were close by and wonderful. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had a lot of space for our family. My son loves cows and could sometimes see them outside of the living room grazing up the hill.

What a great place to stay for your visit to the magical land of Skye. We loved the location, just far enough off the beaten path but not too far once you learn the island. Absolutely recommend Raven Cottage and visiting the Isle of Skye!

Quiet tranquil place

Very quiet location but quite a distance from amenities. You definitely cannot walk to town for a few items. The yard was beautiful but we were not there long enough to really enjoy it.

Great location, lovely garden and surroundings, spacious house, needs a little update on the downstairs bathroom. The sofas were really worn out and some cobwebs in the bathroom and living room. But overall a very nice house, could recommend for everybody who loves to stay in a quiet and remote srea of Skye

This was our second stay on Skye, the first time we stayed in Staffin. I am glad we chose a more remote location this time. The glen is so beautiful, as is the garden, and the accommodation itself was very comfortable. The area was quiet and relaxing. The road into the glen was a very well maintained single track and was easy to navigate. From the home you can easily explore the glen and we found it to be an excellent base for exploring the island overall. The host has created a guide for local hikes that was thoughtful and much appreciated. There is so much more to Skye than the tourist hot spots. We would absolutely stay here again in the future. Only criticism would be the late check-in. Most of the things to do in Carbost (Talisker, etc.) close around 5PM. Thank you!

Looking for scenic, quiet, private, and well appointed?

Four family members stayed here for four days for the Isle of Skye portion of our 2-week Scotland trip. The property has everything you need inside. It is well maintained inside and out and has a pretty garden and stream in back. Some would consider the location remote, but we were looking for that. It is 20 minutes away from basic services, 40 minutes away from more services. Two of our hikes started from the front door, which is to say, it's in a scenic location. We would absolutely recommend the property to anyone wanting something quiet, where you never see the neighbors. The host provided lots of information about what to see locally.

What an awesome place to spend a week immersed in the beauty of both the mountains and the sea. Both are right out the front door and calling for you to join them. What you will not see are people. Literally a great place to get away from it all!

A Lovely Cottage

The cottage was perfect. The master bedroom accessed from the lounge via a spiral stair has a wonderful spacious feel. The boot room extension off the utility room is perfect for coming in off those rainy days. Even though we didn't get to use it much, the garden was great. The information provided by Stephen for local walks was fantastic. We had an a wonderful holiday. Thank you Stephen for letting us stay at your lovely cottage.

Although only 10 minutes from Carbost, Raven Cottage and Eynort is a world away from rush of modern life. This is a real escape into the peace and quiet that most people can only dream of elsewhere in the UK.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Walking, biking, kayaking, eagle and general wildlife spotting, history going back over 1000 years, even some summer river swimming, all direct from the cottage. Peaceful even compared to the rest of Skye, but with excellent for those occasional rainy days.
