LA CASA GRISHAM: LA ÚNICA CASA DE PLAYA DE AVALON!

Puede tirar una piedra en el agua de nuestro amplio 65 PIES ANCHO envoltura alrededor de la cubierta con espectaculares vistas panorámicas a través de, el puerto, la ciudad, la playa y el océano. Este es el lugar ideal para comer, bebidas, entretenimiento, tomar el sol, jugando a las cartas o simplemente viendo el mundo pasar. ¡Nunca querrás irte!

Estamos ubicados a tan sólo unos pasos de las playas, tiendas, restaurantes, bares y todas las actividades recreativas como natación, buceo, submarinismo, pesca, parapente, baloncesto, voleibol y los recorridos gran número de visitas que están disponibles. Somos también un muy corto, 2 minutos a pie de nivel desde el muelle.

Durng el día, estamos justo en el medio de toda la actividad Avalon tiene que ofrecer; llena de ajetreo. Y casi todos los que toman el ferry camina derecha más allá de nuestra propiedad, por lo que si te gusta observar a la gente, que estará en el cielo. Por la noche, sin embargo, después de que los excursionistas día '' van a casa y los negocios por debajo de nosotros estrecha, es muy tranquilo y silencioso.

Esta unidad se encuentra en el piso medio de una propiedad de 3 pisos. En la planta baja hay 2 tiendas de ropa / de regalo, un alquiler de jet ski, una empresa océano rafting y un psíquicas. La planta superior contiene nuestra separada alquiler de 1 dormitorio. Nuestra Unidad de planta media (14 escalones - No hay ascensor) capacidad para 8 personas. Consiste en:
- Dormitorio con cama Queen, TV y baño privado de 3/4.
- Dormitorio con cama doble (completa) y baño privado de 3/4
- Dormitorio con cama queen y gran vista al puerto.
- Dormitorio con cama Queen y TV.
- Hay un tercer baño completo fuera de la sala de estar
- 3 televisores, estéreo, reproductor de DVD.
- Acceso inalámbrico a Internet

Esta propiedad es el más adecuado para 2 familias; 1 gran familia o parejas 3-4. NOTA: Nuestro Top unidad (3º) alquiler de piso es un 1 cuarto de baño 1 dormitorio que duerme y tiene 3 terrazas con grandes vistas de 270 grados. Ver vrbo # 66587. Estas unidades se pueden alquilar juntos o por separado. No hay aire acondicionado, aunque no es necesario muy a menudo en la playa. Tenemos ventiladores portátiles. Por último, no tenemos un carrito de golf.

Lo sentimos, pero esta es nuestra casa de vacaciones en familia y no es nuestra política para alquilar a grupos como los partidos de soltero / bachlorette; fraternidad / hermandad de mujeres, partidos 21 cumpleaños, vacaciones de primavera de la universidad, etc. TAMBIÉN, si usted es parte de un grupo o reunión familiar aún más grande, tenemos restricciones en el número de visitantes que se les permite. Se aplican límites de edad mínima y los adultos jóvenes que alquilan por su cuenta deben ser de 24 años de edad. 2 noches mínimo en todo momento y mínima de 3 noches en temporada alta de verano. Las tasas más altas se aplican eventos especiales y alrededor de los días festivos.

It was perfect for our family. We have eight from 10-70. Though the kitchen was well-stocked, we mostly ate out and enjoyed the many delights of Avalon.

They property as expected is very close to the ferry terminal, on the way into Avalon, it can't be missed. It is literally a few yards from the Veteran's memorial and the basket ball courts near the park entrance. The courts get busy at night, but that ends around 10pm. There is a bit of heavy street traffic through out the day, but not offensive. We stayed in the middle section, the neighbors above us were very nice. Our misfortune was only the weather, which after the first couple days, the weather became cooler and drizzle grey overcast. However we aproached the host to extend our stay which he did so we ended up with bright sunny weather for that last couple days. All and all the property exceeded our expectations, and recommended it to anyone considering a stay there. A convenient bonus for us and young grandchildren is the establishment at the bottom of the stairs adjoining the property, Catalina Cones. A young couple as proprietors having the best asortment of ice cream we found on the island. I highly recommend stopping there.We were grateful that our host was able to let us extend our stay the extra day, as the weather really turned around the last two days which we should have departed according to our original reservation. It helped make for a nice ending for our visit to Catalina.

10/10 Stay: Perfect Avalon Getaway at the Grisham HouseWe absolutely loved our stay at the Grisham House! The location is unbeatable, just minutes from the Catalina Express dock, steps from the beach, and walking distance to Vons, restaurants, shops, and everything Avalon has to offer.The home itself is over 100 years old, full of historic charm, but still incredibly comfortable and clean. The listing was 100% accurate, and everything exceeded expectations. We ended up cooking breakfast one morning and were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed. Cleanup was easy and the trash location (right below the stairs) was super convenient.Randy was an amazing host, communicative, organized, and made sure we had all the info we needed for a smooth and memorable stay. We were a group of seven and had more than enough space.Highly recommend the Grisham House for anyone looking to enjoy Avalon without any stress. Would definitely stay here again!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION (AND THAT DECK!)

The Grisham house made our whole weekend so much fun! The wrap around deck was EVERYTHING. Our group spent the majority of our time there people watching, playing games and just having a great time. Everything was exactly as listed. The location was amazing and we could walk to everything.

This is the third time my family has stayed in this beautiful house. The location and the view of the pier and casino are unbeatable. The house has a very cozy feeling. The deck is fantastic for having a barbecue and making memories with our family.

Fabulous Site for a Generational Family Vacation

Incredibly gracious family owner and manager and an equally wonderful property. Our three generations of family had the perfect extended weekend stay. For elderly family, this property is located about a 100yds from the ferry boat terminal - super convenient. Has everything you’d need from kitchen supplies to extra blankets and pillows. You can tell this property has established a loyal following of repeat customers, of which we’re pleased and grateful to now be a part of.

Great Location with a great deck

We enjoyed our visit to Catalina to celebrate our marriage on the Island 21 years ago. First time at this location. Great 4 bedroom setup made this easy. Weird that the front door enters into one of the bedrooms. Keep that in mind if you have someone who sleeps early and others who come in late, or want to leave early in the morning while folks are sleeping. We put the deep sleeper 17 year old in that room because nothing wakes them up. Those are quirks of the island I guess. The hallway bathroom’s shower was clogged so we had no access to that shower. With 2 other showers we were ok. You cannot use both showers at the same time, so that is something to note. There isn’t enough water pressure to have both showers running at the same time nor enough hot water. We had to hunt around for heaters because it was freezing in winter at night. The beds did not have warm enough blankets and there were no extra blankets that we could find. Hosts would do well with supplying some extra blankets for each room in the winter. ( We came through New Year’s). We put the space heaters on we were ok. But, the first night some of us froze as we couldn’t find out where all the space heaters were stored. Otherwise, kitchen was stocked. It was clean and we had a great stay.

This property is very special, there are no other residences this close to town and right on the water. I wanted something close to everything because my dad can’t walk very far and the view could not be better. We had a wonderful Christmas making memories that will last a lifetime

The best location

The magnificent wrap around deck allowed seven women to enjoy our morning coffee in very comfortable outdoor seats and lunch and/or dinner at the large table with eight chairs and a new cover. As it overlooked the main street we were able to watch the people coming into town from the ferry or cruise ships. We walked to shops, coffee house, grocery store, and shopping with ease. The location absolutely could not have been better. Inside the kitchen was very well stocked with anything you needed. There was a large table for eating or playing games at night. Two couches provided comfortable seating. We all slept well in the beds. Closet and drawer space was plentiful. With seven women, having three bathrooms, two of which were en-suite, was extremely helpful. The listing doesn’t mention it, but there is a twin bed in one bedroom, making five beds total. We all agreed we would rent this again and would recommend it to friends and family as the perfect place to stay on the island.

Celebrating my 60th with my 5 daughters

We have stayed at two other VRBO's this year which is a change from always staying at hotels or resorts. Our first experience in Alabama came with serious challenges with regard to cleanliness and overall upkeep. The second was amazing, however the property was in the process of being 'reapproved' by the city (New Orleans) leading to constant inspection and maintenance interruptions. This stay was flawless!!!! The property is perfectly located right in the heart of Avalon. Restaurants, beach, ferry port (less than 5 min walk), shops, activities, and lots of people watching. You literally can walk 3 minutes for coffee each morning, faster than you can brew your own. By the way, this property has it all. It is so well stocked with everything you would need to enjoy and have fun. Including; puzzles, games, dishes to prepare a meal, a snack, or a cocktail. There are so many leftover spices, coffee filters, coffee, creamer, the list goes on. I would highly recommend checking out the supplies before heading to the store. Beds were very comfy, atmosphere awesome, extremely clean and cared for, and the decor so incredibly homey. You don't feel like you're anywhere but home. Now for the wrap around deck. It's so spacious with ample furniture to sit and enjoy the view. We sat outside a great deal, reading, chatting, playing games and did I mention people watching :-) ! Thank you to the Grisham's for allowing us to experience their property. It's absolutely beautiful.

Family fun

Best view in Catalina. The huge deck allowed our grand children to run and play. It’s that big. 150 yards from Catalina Express. Steps from rentals, restaurants. Love it
