Nuestra casa de dos pisos se encuentra en lo alto de una colina con impresionantes vistas del Pacífico. Mount Davidson Manor es un barrio muy tranquilo y pintoresco. Maravillosa zona para caminar. Muy cerca de West Portal Village, que cuenta con excelentes restaurantes, cafeterías, tabernas y una sala de cine.

Amplia cocina actualizada con sala de desayunos. Amplios salones y comedores. Cada habitación y sala de estar están equipadas con televisores de alta definición con cable. Wifi en toda la casa. Área privada de terraza trasera / patio.

Vivimos abajo con una entrada privada.

Fácil acceso a varios transportes municipales. Muy cerca de SF State University, City College y Stonestown Galleria. Esta ubicación está en el lado oeste de la ciudad.
El transporte público está a dos cuadras y Bart está a una milla de distancia.

Lovely home that actually feels like a home instead of a turnkey! Richard was incredibly communicative and hospitable. Amazing view and nice back patio. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Rich and Rose were incredibly quick to respond to anything we needed- the house is in a really fun safe neighborhood! Our group of 5 on a girls trip had an incredible time in San Francisco and the accommodations were a big part of that!!

Perfect Stay in the Bay

Welcoming and spacious home in a beautiful neighborhood. Our hosts were so helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations for our family. The check in was a breeze, and the home had all the amenities and then some! There’s so much to see and do in SF but this house is so cozy, you might want to stay in instead! We can’t wait to come back again.

Terrific base for our family during SF visit

We all really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, well-stocked, comfortable home in a great classic SF neighborhood. If you like walking hills, getting great views, exploring less well-known parts of the city, this is the place for you! Easy walks to Glen Park, Mount Davidson, West Portal, City College, and even Lake Merced from this nice home. We loved sitting around the table in the breakfast nook sharing a meal and listening to the wind chimes. I hope to stay there again!

Thanksgiving week near Mt Davidson

We enjoyed our second stay at this lovely home in an interesting part of SF. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked which was helpful for putting together a few dishes to bring to my brother’s house in Marin County. We enjoyed walking the hills to West Portal, Glen Park, and Stern Grove. This time we met both owners and shared a few memories of our SF childhoods. Such nice people and such a comfortable home! Thank you!

Excellent Stay

Lovely home in a beautiful, safe neighborhood. We took walks regularly and felt very comfortable. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped! Hosts are fabulous with communication and worked hard to ensure our stay was wonderful. Location is within 20-30 minutes of everything we wanted to do. Easy parking right in front of the door. Super comfy beds.

Fantastic location

This house worked out perfectly for our visit to SF. We arrived late, so we were pooped from travel and ready for bed. The beds were soooo comfy and I slept like a baby. The house was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. The location was close to trains and transit and the views were wonderful, too. I will definitely be back and book this house again.

Enjoyed staying here in San Francisco

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very nice sized, large living room, dining room and kitchen. Plenty of accoutrements - dishes, bedding, blankets, even some food, and several varieties of coffee. Was a little disappointed that the 1/2 bath was part of one of the bedrooms and was awkward to be used by others, so the full bath was shared by the other 3 of us, but we dealt with it just fine. The location was perfect for our needs, close to local family, shops, sightseeing, etc. This was our first VRBO and Richard and Rose were AWESOME when we ran into them; totally made the experience nicer.

Rose's Retreat

We absolutely loved this home. The decor was lovely and the little garden patio out back was a special treat. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was more than fully equipped. The neighborhood felt very safe too! Rose gave us extra special attention, even walked our dog! She is such a special person! Thank you for making our family trip a memorable one!

Home away from home

After three trees crashed into our home in March we needed to stay near our permanent residence while we dealt with multitude of issues concerning the rebuild and finding a temporary residence for next 12-18 months. Rose was incredibly accommodating. The home was the best furnished and stocked VRBO we have ever rented. Would definitely recommend for anyone interested in staying in this neighborhood.

My review

Great place to stay. Would stay again. Great location to easily access all areas of San Francisco. Quiet area. Also close to Bart location if you do not want to drive downtown. Never had to worry about finding parking spot which is a major problem with some VRBOs in San Francisco. House has everything you need so if you don’t want to eat out. When I left my wallet at the house, they drove to the airport and dropped it off so I did not miss my flight. Just super nice, very accommodating people.

Perfect home, perfect location

Absolutely gorgeous and spacious home in a cute neighborhood close to Ocean Beach and the Zoo, among other destinations. Away from the hustle bustle of the crowded side of San Francisco, but close to everything. Very kind and accommodating hosts. Ample parking. I'm sure it says so in the description, but quite a few steps involved with this property, which might be relevant for certain people. Nice views, meticulously kept property, tastefully decorated interior, and lovely landscaped exterior. I can't think of a single downside. Be aware that if you're destination is Fisherman's Wharf, it will take about 30 minutes or so to drive or Uber there, although we were there on the SF Marathon weekend so there were some closed roads and extra overflow traffic. One tip that I wished we would have paid closer attention to: the recycling rules are a bit different than we were used to and we didn't sort our trash and recycling very well during our stay. Our fault, not the hosts, who provided everything we needed. Great find! Will recommend to friends and family!

Wonderful Stay

We have stayed at this property several times while having to make trips back and forth to UCSF for medical appointments. It is close to the hospital. The owners are wonderful people . The house is perfect for our family. It is located in a fabulous safe neighborhood.

Great location and owner communication....BUT Listing and bedding issues we a let down

The location of the this home and the communication from the owners was super - they seem to be very nice people and even left us a few goodies in the kitchen. The home was also well stocked. However the things that bothered my group about this property left us with an unpleasant overall experience. When we first arrived it was quite a challenge to get the door open - had to fumble with a key box and door is difficult to figure out. Then we were greeted by a "weird" smell which we later determined was a musty odor. It seems that the home had been closed up for a while and all of the linens/bedding/furniture and pillows (including extra linens) smelled musty. We tried to use lysol, febreeze, remake the beds, etc to make it better but nothing worked. Additionally, the 3 extra TVs that were advertised to be in each bedroom were not there (listing has since been modified). The owner offered/provided 1 TV but we could not get it to work because there was no remote provided to which they replied that we should use the buttons on the side to turn in on - we are not novices at electronics but eventually just gave up. The owners reply to why there were not additional TVs was because they had to close up the home for Covid. Perhaps this is the reason for the musty smell as well. Not sure what TVs have to do with Covid and while it may not be important to others, we are huge sports fans and like to watch the news at night and 1 TV for 4 adults did not work for us. Lastly, trying to figure out what and how to properly sort/recycle/compost the trash was confusing as the rules are quite different from where we live - we did bag everything up upon leaving but did not sort the trash. We recommend that the owners do a cleaning/sanitizing overhaul of furniture and linens.

Wonderful, Warm and Inviting!

My family and I (six adults) travelled to San Francisco to celebrate the birthday of my 25 year old son. Even before we arrived, Rose was corresponding with me about what we might like to do during our stay and making great suggestions. Once we arrived, she was able to recommend great restaurants and the best, and quickest, way to get to anywhere we wanted to go. The house was truly perfect. It is a beautiful home and tastefully decorated. It was extremely clean and had everything you could imagine to make us comfortable. It was as if our hosts had thought of everything. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was even a closet with board games for evenings after adventures. Each and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely do it again!

2nd Stay at this wonderful property, will stay again.

Rose and Richard are wonderful host at the beautiful property. This is our second stay at the house and the accommodations did not disappoint a second time. SF was clear enough to enjoy a peak at the ocean from the front porch, the weather was beautiful. The hone is large and has an open floor plan with large windows bringing in a ton of natural light. The is a back patio to enjoy the outdoors. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and there is parking in front of the house. We enjoyed evening walks. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay in this home. The property owners were attentive to all our needs. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood, has onsite parking, and met all our needs and expectations. Comfortable in a beautiful neighborhood

We stayed at this cute little house for 2 nights for a girls weekend. It's located in a beautiful neighborhood that felt very safe. Parking was super convenient in front of the house and the house was sunny and clean. We enjoyed the weekend very much!

A San Francisco Holiday With Grandsons

Lovely home in a neighborhood setting but close to all that is special about this setting. Imagine stepping out on the porch and seeing the ocean . The house was so comfortable and tastefully decorated.. A great home to come home to after a day about town. Thank you to the lovely hosts

A perfect stay

This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. I really can’t think of anything to criticize. The house is beautiful, well kept up, in a great location, and comes with no-worry parking. It was exactly as advertised, communication was great, and the owners were super helpful. We’re looking forward to staying there again!

This is the house Rose grew up in. We recently purchased it from her family and have spent the last 12 years making improvements. We love the house, the views, the neighborhood and the location.

Plenty of parking out front. Great back deck/yard. Wonderful restaurants at West Portal.

Close to MUNI and 2 miles from 2 BART Stations. Walking distance to Stones Town Galleria and West Portal Village with great restaurants, coffee shops, taverns, and a movie theater all with a 10 minute walk. Lots of free all day parking.
