A glorious week in a glorious place

We had a wonderful stay in Pella, and Piera and Paolo could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, even driving us to the nearest supermarket to stock up on essentials. The apartment is ideal for families and our 3 year old and 7 year old had a lovely time, given its proximity to a wonderful gelataria. A wonderful family holiday I'm perfect surroundings and one that we hope to revisit in the future

Great Holiday Home in Sleepy Pella

We stayed at this property with our toddler. The communication with the owner before and during our stay was excellent. The property is very pretty and has everything you need. But some things potentially need updating. Pella is a very small village with a good ice cream place and a small shop directly opposite the property which sells very yummy pizza.

Unforgettable Memories

The four of us (two adults, two teenagers) spend a lovely week in Pella. The apartment is located ideally in the village center. Right across the street is a little shop were you can get fresh made pizza and focaccia. 100 m down the street you are at the harbor where you can get superb ice cream and catch the ferry around lake Orta (or enter the lake with your SUP which is super convenient). The Appartement itself has two stories. The upper floor is with two rooms for sleeping and has an AC which was very helpful during the hot days. Lower floor has all the amenities you need for a family of four. Even wifi is available and worked well. Overall a big recommendation and Piera and Paolo are very lovely hosts.

Paradise in Pella

We had a great experience staying in Piera and Paolo's apartment. They are the warmest and most hospitable owners I have encountered so far with VRBO. The accommodations surpassed our expectations. The apartment is clean, decorated with a lot of pieces from Orta. The kitchen is well equipped where we were able to cook breakfast every morning and cook dinner almost every night which was important to us since the World Cup was on at 8, every night. The dining room table accommodates 6 people . The beds were comfortable and the living room felt like home. The apartment is a stones throw away from the ferry to Isola di San Giulio, Orta, a Gelataria (the best gelato) and 3 restaurants. There is a small market across the street run by a husband and wife who speak a little English. There prices were comparable to the supermarkets in the area. It also a 10 minute drive from 3 private beaches which are Miami, Luci and Lodi (it has a spring diving board built into the water. Great for kids and the young at heart). It's a 5 minute walk to the public beach which is good alternative to the private. There are two beautiful churches near the apartment. Down the main road going towards San Maurizio is San Filiberto which is close to 1,000 years old. It also has the stations of the cross outside surrounding the church. The second church, San Albino, is up the street on your left. Go on a Sunday so you can hear the choir. They were magnificent. The neighbors were extremely friendly and helpful. Make sure you meet Mario who is 92 years young and his family. They will quickly make you feel like a part of their family. We hope to return and stay again at Piera and Paolo's. You won't regret it. I miss them already. Arrivaderci!

Gemütliche Unterkunft im Herzen von Pella

Wir waren sehr schön und ruhig untergebracht. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und bietet alles, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Piera und Paolo sind sehr nette Gastgeber, jederzeit hilfsbereit und darum bemüht, dass es allen gut geht.

Bunte Mischung

Die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein. Zum Beispiel hat die Küche ihre beste Zeit hinter sich, die Griffe bzw. Griffmulden sind schmutzig, verfärbt bzw. klebrig. Eine Reinigung ist nur bedingt möglich, da es Holzmuldengriffe sind und sich die Folierung auf dem Sperrholz an den Stößen schon löst. Da stört im Vergleich der Staub unter den Betten oder die dicke Staubschicht auf dem Lüftungsgitter am Fön schon weniger. Die Einrichtung ist ein bunter Strauß mit guten Seiten wie alt, qualitativ und zeitlos, aber auch schlechten Seite wie günstig, zusammengewürfelt und abgewohnt (z.B. Küche, Handtücher, Treppenläufer). Das warme Wasser weißt auch erhebliche Temperaturschwankungen auf, was beim Duschen zwischen zu kalt und zu heißt schwankt. Die Vermieterin hat vor dem Abreisetag nochmals persönlich vorbeigeschaut und eine extra Gebühr für das verbrauchte Gas verlangt. Da die Zählerstände bei der Übergabe aber nicht notiert worden sind, wurde ein pauschaler Betrag vorgeschlagen. Eine zusätzliche Verbrauchsabrechnung steht nicht in den Buchungsbedingungen, hatte wir bisher auch nirgendwo sonst und sollte bei dem verlangten Preis inklusive sein. Man fragt sich da schon, wie die vielen extrem guten Bewertungen 10/10 zustande gekommen sind.

Gerne wieder

Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig und doch zentral gelegen. Restaurants, Gelateria und Schiffsteg in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. Wir waren nur zu zweit und konnten auf dem kleinen Balkon unseren Apéro geniessen oder gemütlich lesen. Die Besitzer, Piera und ihr Ehemann sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten sie jederzeit kontaktieren und sie haben umgehend geantwortet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden

Merveilleux !

Le gîte était très propre conforme à nos attentes. Le petit épicerie pizzeria juste en face bien pratique pour les jours nous n'avions pas envie d'aller loin. Pierra et Paolo sont deux hôtes particulièrement charmants. Bref beaucoup de calme et de sérénité dans ce lieu. Attention nécessite tout de même une voiture pour se rendre aux différentes plages.

Schönes Quartier mit Charme

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Jugendlichen im August da und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, hat alles was man braucht. Allein das Glockenspiel des nahen Kirchturm ist die Reise wert. Leider kann man nicht direkt im Ort baden. Der beste Stand ist Spiagga Prarolo. Und klar: Die Vermieter sind unglaublich nett. Gerne wieder.

Perfekter Urlaub am Lago di Orta

Eine schöne Wohnung und sehr offene und freundliche Vermieter die uns herzlich willkommen hießen. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet. Sie war für uns 4 Personen optimal und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Lage in Pella ist perfekt um den Lago di Orta zu erkunden. Restaurants und Eisdiele in unmittelbarer Nähe, Schiffanlegestelle auch. Wir können uns vorstellen auch nochmal in diese Wohnung zu gehen.

Schöner entspannter Urlaub

Wir haben 2 Wochen in Pella verbracht. Der Ort und der See sind eine Super-Entdeckung für einen ruhigen und "entschleunigten" Urlaub. Die FeWo liegt sehr ruhig und nur ein paar Meter vom See und der Uferpromenade mit Pizzeria, Eisdiele, Restaurant und Fähranleger. Es gibt wunderbare Spazier- und Wandermöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Leider gibt es keinen Bäcker oder Lebensmittelladen im Ort, aber ein guter Savoini Supermarkt ist ja nur 10 Auto-Minuten weg. Die Wohnung war sauber, modern und schön eingerichtet. Sie bietet auch Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen, insbesondere abends auf dem Balkon beim Glas Wein. Da sie über 2 Etagen ging, gab es auch mal Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, z.B. zum Lesen oder Musikhören. Es war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. (Anfangs fehlte uns in der Kochnische nur ein Backofen für die Tiefkühl-Pizza, aber wir haben gelernt, dass sie aus der Pfanne sogar noch besser schmeckt! Der Rest ging perfekt mit Gasherd und Mikrowelle.) Das Haus selber ist älter und hat eine rustkalen Hoftür und einen kleinen Innenhof. Das hat dem ganzen Aufenthalt nochmal eine ganz spezielle, nicht-alltägliche Atmosphäre gegeben. Die Gastgeber Piera und Paolo sind sehr nett und haben sich um uns und die Wohnung gekümmert. Kleine Probleme Die Verständigung klappte gut per WhatsApp in Englisch. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung und Ort sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Familiensommerurlaub

Wir haben als Familie 14 Tage unseres Sommerurlaubs in Pella verbracht und es sehr genossen. Die Lage der FeWo im Zentrum von Pella und die Nähe zum See und zur Uferpromenade sind super, das abendliche Panorama immer wieder grandios! Die Gastgeber Paolo und Piera sind sehr liebenswürdig und haben versucht, uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Verständigung in Englisch war kein Problem. Die Wohnung hatte alles, was man so als Familie (mit größeren Kindern) braucht. Leider gibt es in Pella keinen Lebensmittelladen. Dieser ist ca. 5min mit dem Auto entfernt. Dafür gibt es an der Uferpromenade 2 Restaurants (in der Saison Tisch reservieren!) und eine Crêperie inkl. Eisverkauf.

Komfortable Wohnung im ruhigen, netten Ort Pella

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die beiden Schlafzimmer sind über eine Wendeltreppe erreichbar. Gute Ausstattung der Küche. Man wohnt ganz im Zentrum und trotzdem ruhig. Der Ort Pella ist sehr hübsch und man hat die Auswahl zwischen 3 hervorragenden Möglichkeiten zu essen: Pizzeria La Piazetta, Restaurant Il Imbarcadereo und Gelateria/Creperia. Mit dem Schiffchen kann man zum Hauptort Orta und zur Insel St. Guilio etliche Male pro Tag übersetzen. Verschiedene Bademöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Wir haben uns in dieser Wohnung, dem netten Ort Pella und am Ortasee sehr wohl gefühlt.

Erholsame, rundum gelungene Urlaubswoche

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral im romantischen Ort Pella. Pizzeria, Restaurant und leckeres Eis in nächster Nähe. Die Wohnung ist auf 2 Etagen, sehr stilvoll, italienisch und sehr gemütlich. Alles sauber. Haben uns mit unseren 2 Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt. Von der Einrichtung her ist alles vorhanden. Kleiner, netter Balkon für den Morgenkaffee. Gebadet haben wir am kleinen städtischen, kostenfreien Strand am Ortsrand, ca. 1,5 km. Kleinere Mountainbiketouren direkt ab Pella möglich. Haben eine sehr erholsame und rundum gelungene Urlaubswoche verbracht.

Très bon séjour en famille à Pella

Appartement très bien situé près des restaurants et du lac et accès facile pour garer la voiture Très agréable à vivre pour une famille de 4 personnes Paolo et Piera nous ont très bien accueillis avec de bons conseils sur les alentours Pour les commerces, service bancaire et carburant il faut se rendre à San Maurizio car il n'y en a plus sur Pella. Nous recommandons cette adresse et la région qui offre une multitude d'activités entre le lac et la montagne. Ravis de notre séjour

Schöner Kurzurlaub am Lago d‘Orta

Wir (4-köpfige Familie mit Hund) haben eine schöne Urlaubswoche in dem charmanten Appartement von Piera und Paolo, den sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern, verbracht. Pella hat eine hübsche Uferpromenade, ist im Oktober eher beschaulich, am Wochenende deutlich belebter. Im Ort gibt es 2 nette Restaurants, 1 Bar und 1 gelateria (alles in 2 min zu Fuß erreichbar); zum Einkaufen muss man gute 5 min mit dem Auto fahren. Tolle Wanderungen (auch direkt vom Appartement aus) und zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung haben für einen schönen Aufenthalt und gute Erholung gesorgt.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in ruhiger Lage

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der tollen Ferienwohnung von Piera und Paolo. Die Wohnung war außergewöhnlich sauber, die Einrichtungen in einem sehr guten Zustand und gut zu benutzen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, sehr ruhig, nah zum See und zu den Restaurants und der Eisdiele von Pella, aber mit dem Auto waren wir auch schnell im nächsten Ort mit einem richtigen Supermarkt (Minimarkt gegenüber hat ein begrenztes Angebot, aber z. B. morgens frisches Brot) und weiteren Restaurants. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Relaxed vakantiegevoel in Pella

Het verblijf in de woning van Pierra en Paolo is zeker n aanrader. Deze hartelijke huiseigenaren hebben n zeer complete woning voorzien van vaatwasser en wasmachine ,niet te vergeten airco. Bovendien hadden ze n persoonlijke dvd gemaakt om alle mooie plekjes in de buurt aan te duiden. Veel uitleg en info. De omgeving is prachtig,schoon en er wonen vriendelijke mensen in Pella en omgeving. De aanwezigheid van n klooster met nonnen geeft de omgeving ook iets plechtigs. Volop mooie stadjes in de buurt. Het meer is helder en schoon . Pella heeft meerdere restaurants en n prima plek om n ijsje te halen. In de minimarket tegenover het appartement kun je je dagelijkse boodschappen halen. Zeer schoon meer om in te zwemmen. Veerpont naar zeer leuk stadje Orta.

We had a vey good stay in Pella. The lake is clear and lovely to swim in. The landlords are kind and very helpful. Nice apartment in two floors. We recommend this place for a good visit in Pella. About 300m fr the apartment, near the touristinformation there is a good beach with a little restaurant. At the gelateria you could eat really good crepes.

Vacances à Pella

Piera et Paul sont très accueillant . Le DVD qu'il on prépare pour la découverte de la région, étai une agréable surprise. Pella est un joli village au bord du lac d'Orta. Village tranquille et bien plasse' pour nombreuses visites ; lac MAGGIORE, montagne , Milan par le train (gare de Arona ) Nous avons passé des agréable vacances grâce à tous ces choix de promenades.. Merci à Piera et Paul.
