Perfect beachfront rental.

Once you get here you realize that there is almost no point in leaving. Great deck right on the beach and a beautiful view of the harbor. Very comfortable and walking distance to everything. We'll be back.

Beautiful Escape

Laurie’s place is exactly as described, but perhaps even more beautiful. It was perfect and lovely for the two of us - easy walk to the ferry, close to the East End, and easy access to the West End. The place was very, very clean, the neighbors are kind and friendly, and we can’t wait to go again. Jump on it if you get the chance!

Perfect!

Our stay at Laurie's cottage couldn't have been better! The cottage was clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and had lots of room to store our stuff. We loved the location--so close to all the action, but set back off the street where it was nice and quiet. We spent a lot of time watching the boats in the harbor from the private deck. Our neighbors in the other units were jealous that we clearly had the best one! :) Can't wait to come back.

Perfect Property

I have been coming to PTown for over 25 years, and this is among the best places (if not the best) that I have stayed. Wonderful layout, clean, great location, and all the amenities one may need. And, well, that water front view is incomparable - indeed, I spent most days relaxing and reading on the front deck. My only feedback is I think the place is much nicer that the photos show.

Deck was above expectations! Inside decor was better than the pictures.

Excellent overall. Suggestion - park the car in the parking space first, then walk to the condo. This way you get the lay of the land opposed to going straight to the unloading zone on the street.

A terrific stay.

We were more than happy with our stay at Puffin house! The cottage was clean and welcoming. The private deck looking out at the beach was perfect! Unlike many rentals, there was plenty of space to hang and store out belongings. The location could not have been better... everything we cared about was within walking distance. It is very centrally located. Overall... tops scores for this lovely rental on the beach.

Picture perfect cottage ON the bay.

This cottage is a front row seat to the bay. Step out the slider door and there you are. Just beautiful. The interior is clean, comfortable, and artfully decorated. The listing//pictures of this cottage are accurate and say it all. It's also centrally located to all the shops, dinning, and everything Provincetown has to offer. ENJOY Laurie is always quick to respond and a pleasure to work with.

Cute Cottage

We were very happy with our stay at the cottage. The location is fantastic and you have your own personal parking spot. You are in Town but the cottage is right on the water and a little off Commercial Street so it is pretty quiet. Check in process was easy and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Deck on the water apartment

Pluses: beautiful view, pleasant deck, comfortable couch, well-supplied kitchen that you can actually cook in, comfortable bed, good lighting, good wifi. Nice neighbors. Well maintained. Central location (although see below). Ceiling fans & ac keep the place cool & comfortable. Minuses: Harbor Bar next door is very loud, with thumping music and conversations we could actually follow word for word. Nothing to be done about that, I guess--and it's worth noting that the bedroom is totally quiet. Also, a minor issue--could have done with fewer knicknacks, which made it a little difficult to maneuver around the apartment without fear of knocking something over.

Poor treatment by owner

After 2 days, I was sent an email by the owner that i was being evicted from the property. I was accused of having dogs in the house and more than 2 person occupancy. My daughter was on the lease with me, she came to visit with her husband and 2 dogs. The dogs and my children stayed on the deck but did not come inside. For this I was evicted by email, without even speaking to me, and threatening to call the police if I didnt vacate the premises the next day. I am a 60 yr old women, who was thrown out on the street on my vacation to visit with my grown daughter and son in law. Im not sure if this owner does this, keeps your money and then rents it out again. BEWARE.

Life's a beach; this place makes life sweet

When I sent my brother a photo of the view out the window of Puffin Cottage the first morning of our visit, he replied in one word - a long, drawn out "Swe-e-e-e-t." To be able to watch the water and the sky so comfortably and conveniently from the exclusive-use deck would have been enough to make it fun staying here. But the place itself was both down-to-earth and cozy, and filled with fun art and artifacts, evidence of owners who are clearly inspired by the forces of creative self-expression at work in Provincetown. We biked the dunes, roamed the streets lined with galleries, restaurants, and coffee shops - and were always exhilarated to return to Puffin Cottage, centrally located in town. I am very grateful to Puffin's gracious owner for making such a wonderful place available.

Our favorite, perfect cottage on the bay!

This is our second stay at Laurie's cottage. My wife and I love it here. Its centrally located, on the harbor/pier, and just a wonderful view of the bay/beach. The pictures on the listing say it all. Its a beautiful cottage. Laurie is always quick to respond and a pleasure to work with.

Puffin Cottage vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Puffin Cottage. It was a private location with a great view and just exactly what we wanted and needed to unwind. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Puffin...and in fact, we did!

This is a beautiful cottage right on the bay-side beach with a fantastic view of the bay & the pier.

Whether you are inside the cottage, on your private deck, or sitting in the sand reading a book. You have a full view of the bay and MacMillan pier. Wonderful!! Can’t say enough. It is so relaxing and quite. The location is right across the street from the public library and perfect for all other activities. Restaurants, galleries, shows, Bradford Market and all that P-town offers. Bring bicycles or rent. Great place to ride. The cottage is beautiful inside! It’s clean, kitchen is fully equipped, bathroom and shower are roomy. The decor is wonderful. Laurie was a pleasure to work with. Thank you Laurie for sharing this little piece of heaven. We hope to be back.

Perfection, right in the middle of town!

We had a perfect time right in the middle of town at this waterfront property! The morning sunrise on the deck with a cup of coffee was blissful. We could walk everywhere and be in the bustle of Commercial Street, but once we walked down the pathway of cottages down to the waterfront unit we were transported into a peaceful, relaxing oasis. Laurie was an amazing host. The cottage was spotless, very comfortable and roomy. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We've stayed in this row of cottages many times and the people are wonderful so it's kind of like coming home! Watching the harbor, renting paddle boards and kayaks from just a few steps down the beach and having our own beautiful beach made this one of our most favorite vacations. If you have the chance to rent this magical property, you should!

Comfortable, Clean, Great view!

Laurie was awesome to communicate with, late reservation and odd time frame, she couldn't have been nicer. Condo is really well situated off commercial and quiet, yet just close enough to the action. At the end of a group of condos with your own private deck and grand view. Watch the sunrise and fishing boats go out, morning beach walks, stay in or walk to great restaurants nearby. Absolutely would stay here again. Porter

Great spot on the beach

Totally enjoyed my stay in Laurie's Condo in Ptown. Perfect spot on the beach and the Condo is fully equipped with any and everything you would ever need. Its just far enough off of Commercial St that you don't have the street noise at night and in the morning which is wonderful. Right in the center of town so very convenient to restaurants, shops, clubs and all that is Ptown. Thanks Laurie for a wonderful stay.....

I've been coming to Provincetown since I was 13 years old, brought my kids for summers in Ptown and now our two grandsons come each June and love to do the very same things my kids did (Penny Patch for candy, Trolley tour, Arts Dune Tours, water taxi to Long Point Beach, kayak, etc, etc). Seeing the traditions carry on from generation to generation is a real joy. Last summer our 7-year old grandson sold his drawings in front of the library (25 cents each) and made $10 in half an hour. For our family there is simply no place like Ptown!

Puffin Cottage has an amazing as it does right on the beach and sheltered by the breakwater where the cormorants roost. Because it is so close to the wharf we can watch the fishing boats come and go even on a rainy day when hotel-bound folks can't even tell they're near the water. A favorite rainy day activity is to go across the street to the library and read all the magazines you like but would never subscribe to. The cottage users have access to the large common deck with large picnic table and grills. Our cottage is the only one in our complex that has its own deck. The bike and kayak rentals are half a block away. The bay-side beach is never crowded and there is a tranquility about being so close to the water. You're 4 steps away! You begin to live according to the rhythm of the tides. Yet, just steps up the walkway is the zaniness of Commercial Street where so much of the action is.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

There is a reason why Ptown is filled with the quality of light. The views from Puffin Cottage are spectacular no matter what time of day or night. Artists come to our beach to paint. Formerly, a bunch of cottages for fishermen, our sweet Seaside Condos has people who have been coming for more than 20 years. We stopped renting our cottage for 4 years because we just couldn't stand to miss any month; but we began renting again three years ago. Get in touch soon! Our weeks go fast!
