Encantadora cabaña junto al lago en Newport

Nuestra cabaña durante todo el año está justo en el lago Memphremagog, que es un lago de 35 millas de largo y más de 350 pies de profundidad que se extiende desde Newport Vt. A Magog Canadá con increíbles amaneceres y atardeceres. Caliéntate en invierno cerca de la chimenea con mucho espacio para familiares y amigos. Esta cabaña cuenta con un frente de agua privado que tiene una pequeña playa y se mantiene poco profunda durante unos 20 metros. Lugar ideal para levantar una silla de playa y relajarse.

La casa es una casa bastante grande y tiene capacidad para 10 personas con 5 habitaciones y 4 baños (2 baños completos y 2 medios baños). Las cinco habitaciones están situadas de la siguiente manera:
# 1 suite principal con 1 cama king (78 "x 80") y baño privado en la habitación
# 2 1 reina (60 "x 80")
# 3 1 cama queen (60 "x 80")
# 4 2 camas individuales (39 "x 75")
# 5 1 cama doble (54 'x 75 ")

La cabaña cuenta con comodidades modernas que incluyen wifi y un Smart TV en la sala de estar común. La casa está totalmente equipada con toallas, ropa de cama y utensilios de cocina.

La cabaña viene con 1 kayak para dos personas, una canoa tres, chalecos salvavidas, 2 windsurfistas y una gran cantidad de sillas de arena y juguetes acuáticos.

We love this Newport property! Our family has been vacationing here for 5 years and our children and grandchildren have many wonderful memories from our stays.The house is lovely, comfortable and well equipped and the location and views are spectacular! The closeness to Canada is an added feature, we’ve enjoyed exploring the nearby towns.Thanks Mike for making us feel so welcome, We’d all love to return!

Beautiful lake house

We love Lake Memphramagog. While the weather didn't cooperate, it's still a beautiful lake and a fire at the end of the night is the perfect wind-down any time of year. The owner lives directly next door and is serious about the rules of the house- and it all makes sense because it is such a quiet lake community. House has everything you need for fun on the water, the lawn, or the bike trail!

Great place to stay !!

Very updated house on the lake. Better than what we expected. Beds were all comfortable and everything was clean. Owner lives next door,very friendly and accommodating. We loved being there.

Great Lake Vacation

The house was very nice and updated. Great place for our family of 6 + 1 small dog and our boat. The lake is beautiful and clean. Great for wakeboarding, tubing and fishing. Took a nice day trip to montreal as well.

Family vacation #4 at Newport house

We love everything about this house! The location and the view are spectacular, and the house accommodates our large group of 15 comfortably. It’s clean and equipped with everything we need. The outdoor space is incredible with a large lawn for the kids and a fire pit, and lots of water toys at our disposal. We have made so many wonderful memories at this property!

Our Stay at the Space House

This was our first time staying at the Space House and it certainly will not be our last. The house has an amazing location at the south end of Lake Memphremagog with a paneramic view of the lake and mountains that is just spectacular. The house was immaculate and the amenities and accomodations exceeded our expectations. Our host. Michael was outlasting, he shared the history of the house with us and made sure our stay was very enjoyable.

Amazing home - great layout, location & cleanliness; superior views of gorgeous lake all times of day; fantastic hard rippling SAND bottom off small access on right side of the property- minimal clams but enough for fun in picking up & putting on floats - activity for children & young at heart - plus easy in & out off Bluff Road.

Very nice, recently renovated lake house

Property was exactly as shown on the site, right on the water, lovely views of the lake out the living room and kitchen windows. 5 bedroom layout worked well, beds were comfortable, linens spotless. Bonus points for having a leaf for the dining room table so all 9-10 of us could eat at the same table!

Back to Newport

We had family in Newport growing up and came back to visit from different states after forty years away. Our time in Mike’s home was relaxing and convenient to all the places that we wanted to visit. The house is beautifully appointed, very spacious and right on the lake.

Would gladly move in!

The property is wonderful! The house is large, well appointed, and exceptionally comfortable. The property is right on the lake and the kitchen and living room have a beautiful view of the lake. I have been to Newport several times and have fallen in love with the area. This has been my favorite place to stay so far. The property owner is very communicative and leaves clear instructions. I would love to visit again.

Highly recommended.

The perfect location right on the shores of the lake with spectacular views. The house was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The outside included lawn furniture and a fire-pit. There were bikes, a kayak and a canoe. We plan to return!

A return to a favorite place

My large family made our third trip back to the Newport house. We love the beautiful location and gorgeous views, and the house accommodates us all very nicely. It’s clean,spacious and equipped with everything we need, and the large lawn and waterfront provide lots of entertainment for the kids. There’s great biking and hiking trails nearby,and we enjoyed a trip into Magog, Canada this year. This us a special place for all of us, and we hope to return.

Great Week

We were in town for my son's wedding. Family from all around the country joined us for our stay at the house. The location was beautiful (right on the lake), and the house was perfect for our needs. Mike was very responsive to us whenever we needed to contact him. I would highly recommend this property.

Friends get away

When we arrived the property was clean and the waterfront was beautiful. Having stayed in the area for the last 10 years on vacation I was familiar with the area and was the reason we wanted to stay here. Close to the bike trail, downtown and great area to be able to go for morning runs. Mike lives next door so if we needed anything he was right there when he was home. My recommendation would be mow the grass weekly so that it might control the ant problem outside. Make sure the cleaners are cleaning under the beds… wasn’t very happy with that, more towels, more than one roll of toilet paper, paper towels in the bathrooms for large groups. Steak knives, blender would be great. The house was definitely the right size for our group of 8 and would probably rent again if we were able to get a Saturday to Saturday check in. We are very easy and are able to adapt to anything so everything in this review is constructive criticism no hard feelings. Thank you Prospect Acres OCR Team

Beautiful lake house

We booked this house for a family vacation, and a celebration of my Mom’s upcoming birthday. The house was very clean, easy to find, and looked exactly like the pictures. It was lovely walk from the house into the nearby town of Newport, which we did almost every day. The only other item to note as others have mentioned in previous reviews is that the host lives nextdoor and the fire pit is on his property. It is still available for use but is not really private. Overall, it was a lovely stay and our family was so glad to vacation here. We have deep roots in this part of the country.

Great stay for family get together

Location and house were great for our needs. We had a family get together to handle some difficult family business. This location was great as there was enough space for many to stay. Good shared spaces for family meetings and discussions, and nice quiet hideaways for some private time. The views of the lake were great and a nice recharge. Thank you.
