Aquí está tu oportunidad de vivir como un local en la ciudad vieja de la capital de Suiza, Berna. Paso fuera de su puerta de entrada para descubrir las principales atracciones de la ciudad como el famoso Zytglogge (Renacimiento Torre del Reloj), Münster (catedral), Kursaal, Kultural Casino Bern, sala de conciertos, Bärenpark, y la casa de Einstein (donde desarrolló su famosa teoría de la relatividad) y una serie de excelentes museos.

Un escaso 10 minutos a pie bajo las arcadas románticas te lleva a / desde la estación de tren y tan sólo unos segundos de todas las principales líneas de tranvía y autobús.

This is a charming apartment in the best location imaginable in the old town part of Bern.It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I had the best night sleep in our two-week tour of Switzerland here.We love to stay in a property that makes us feel part of the community and history of an area. This one definitely did. It’s authentic in every way, and the description was spot on.Our host was very friendly and had many good suggestions for us. A magical place.

This apartment in the heart of Bern was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Sara and Rob were clear in all their communications and provided excellent resources for using the equipment in the kitchen or even where to have dinner. This was such a lovely place and excellent stay overall.

Location of the apt is awesome if you are looking to visit old town Bern. The famous clock tower is just around the corner. The cathedral just down the block. Restaurants all over the place, and groceries just a short walk. The only thing I would say is the apt is 3 stories up an old spiral staircase. So elderly people or someone with luggage or kids might think twice before picking this apt. Otherwise it was great for us (only backpacks) and the owner Rob was very nice.

Our Bern Adventure

Our stay at Bern was excellent. The apt was centrally located in old town Bern. It was furnished with everything we needed. The owners left us delicious coffee and with the bakery downstairs, it made our breakfast options easier. A beautiful city and very enjoyable stay.

Great Old City stay

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, well-appointed apartment in the old city, only steps to all of the sights. It felt very special to be in such a grand, old townhouse, yet with modern conveniences—especially fun for a holiday stay over New Year’s. Great bonus to have access to clean, modern laundry facilities, too. Kind hosts Sara and Rob were great— very responsive and accommodating, and communication with them was quick and easy. This stay was definitely a 10/10 all around. We definitely would return, and will recommend to others. Thank you!

Charming Bern Apartment

This is a wonderful property in the middle of the city center of Bern. It is minutes away from all the main sites. There is a small bakery next to the entrance. Aldi super market is 2 minutes away. Also, the train station is about a 15 minute walk. The hosts, Rob and Sara are very helpful and accomodating. They even let me store my luggage prior to check in and helped me obtain a Bern transportation pass (Just leave cash in Swiss Francs or Euros according to the current rate as directed).

Welcoming Apartment

Sarah and Rob have done a beautiful job renovating this apartment! They have a real eye for design and attention to detail. We loved the non-white wall colors in each room, the Adrianos coffee machine, and ability to cook meals in their well-equipped kitchen. They take their hospitality role seriously and they provided a great experience for us. Lastly, they are wonderful people to meet. Very open and friendly. The location is perfect for exploring the charms of the Altstadt in Bern. Great apartment! Great hosts!

We loved the location and the apartment. The apartment is very quaint and yet modern. It was so nice to open the windows and look down at the old city and its people. Bern is a wonderful city and an easy train ride to see Zermatt and the Matterhorn! It was a challenge to get our luggage up three flights of stairs, because we are in our seventies, but we managed. Many thanks, Sara and Rob!

Weekend in Bern

Amazing location, could not have been better for our stay in Bern for the Gurten run! Apartment was clean and well appointed and communication with properly owners/managers was timely. Highly recommend!

Great place to experience the sights and sounds of old Bern

Nicely appointed apartment with period features in a historic building in the heart of the old town. Very handily placed for restaurants, bars etc. Three flights of a narrow spiral staircase to climb, part of the period charm, but might not suit everyone. Excellent communication from the owners, which we appreciated.

Very cute apartment in central location

Very comfortable and central to anything you would want to see in Bern. We were very grateful for two tower fans during a heat surge. Leaving the windows open made a nice breeze but could also be closed to block sound during the night. Quick walk to several swimming areas as well! Getting a big bag up 3 flights of steep stairs was tricky, but the owners also have first and second floor apartments available.

Great apartment, great location!

We loved our stay here, it was such a great place in a perfect location. So many great restaurants and bars to walk to and it was a very easy 10 minute walk from the train station. The hosts Rob and Sara went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were very helpful in some local recommendations.

Modern apartment located in Old City Bern

An UNESCO designated site, Bern is a modern city which has preserved many of its medieval features. This apartment has easy access to all the sites in Bern and is a short walk from the train station. We loved the character of the building, hundreds of years old, but with all the modern features you would expect. It was wonderful to have all the energy of the city just outside your door. We plan to stay next time we visit family in Bern.

Excellent residence in historical appartment

We had a fantastic stay in this warm and luxureous appartment in the historical heart of the city of Bern. We discovered that the heater that is still present in the living is an exact copy of one of the 17th century heaters exhibited in the Bern Historisches Museum. Although not functional (luckily I guess, the current heating system is perfect) it's a jewel to see this in your living. Furthermore everything was perfect!

Fantastic Bern Apartment

Amazing location and lovely apartment! Walking distance to everything from dining to shopping to museums. The apartment is perfectly styled with a crisp, clean Scandinavian feel. Sarah and Rob were very accommodating and so easy to communicate with. They made sure we had everything we needed and were accommodating and helpful with last minute disruptions on our part. Can’t wait to visit again!!!

Perfect location in Bern, perfect hosts, perfect place!

We always look forward to staying here in beautiful old town Bern. The accommodations are perfect! Sara and Rob are great hosts, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. We would not stay anywhere else in Bern - we will be back again!

Sehr zentral

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral inmitten der Altstadt, alles kann zu Fuß oder mit dem bereitigestelllten Tagesticket für S-Bahn, Tram oder Bus errreicht werden (auch ein Ausflug auf den Gurten). Sara und Greg sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber, alles funktioniert schnelle und reibungslos. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, neu und sehr sauber. Das Haus selbst ist sehr alt und dadurch etwas lärmanfällig. Ich kann den Aufenthalt dort nur empfehlen. Stephanie, 2 Erwachsene mit Kind

wonderful central location

We stayed in the apartment for 3 days (June 2016). I've traveled extensively with my family of 4 over the past 10 years and have stayed in many hotels and apartments. This was one of the top 1-3 best experience. 1st of all our host Rob and Sara were fantastic from the start to finish. They were always available and very prompt to respond. The apartment was centrally located (2 stops by tram/bus or less than 10 minute walk from the train station, right in the heart of old town Bern, 1/2 block from the famous clock tower). On Saturdays the open market is held on the street in front of the apartment. The apartment was roomy even for a family of 4, spotlessly clean with quality furnishings including several centuries old antique items. From the apartment we could walk or simply take the local public transportation (which is free with the transport pass provided by Rob and Sara) to everywhere. Tons of restaurants line the surrounding streets. Local markets less than 1 block away (Coop, Migros). Again we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the apartment for visiting Bern or as a base to explore central Switzerland

Fantastic apartment!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, spotlessly clean 3rd floor apartment. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and great to be able watch the world go by from the lounge. Excellent location in the centre of Bern - we were able to walk everywhere. Last but not least - Rob and Sara were very helpful and welcoming hosts - thank you!

I live with my husband, Rob and our two kids on the fourth floor of the building. The rental apartment is located on the third floor so we are never far away should you need any help. We love meeting new people and sharing the beautiful city of Bern. We have been operating Bern City Rentals for 10 years.

Add to that, our own experience hosting travelers for almost 10 years gives you everything you need for a great holiday or work stay on Münstergasse.
