¡Un objeto raro!
Propiedad con uso exclusivo de piscina no lejos del centro histórico de la ciudad medieval de Lucca.
Ofrecemos dos apartamentos luminosos, ventilados y espaciosos (¡ambos incluidos en el precio!) a los que se accede desde la misma escalera, por lo que son ideales para un grupo grande que busque algo de privacidad.

Cada apartamento está amueblado individualmente y tiene su propio balcón. Uno de los balcones está amueblado para comer juntos al aire libre y también hay espacio en la cocina.
Esta propiedad es ideal para grupos que quieren su propio espacio, pero que también quieren pasar tiempo juntos en el jardín y cenar bajo la pérgola. El jardín es perfecto para hacer vida al aire libre.

La ubicación es perfecta para explorar - una posición semi-rural sin embargo, sólo 5 minutos en coche o 2,1 km a pie del centro de la encantadora Lucca. A sólo 5 minutos en coche de la autopista ideal para visitar las muchas delicias de la Toscana en coche, o si lo prefiere, viajar en tren desde Lucca también.

Nuestra opinión es que esta opción es una oferta excelente para quienes deseen utilizar una propiedad como base para explorar la zona sin tener que desplazarse a mitad de camino desde las montañas. También existe la ventaja añadida del uso privado de la piscina, una ventaja que normalmente sólo se encuentra cuando se alquila una villa en el campo.

NB - Hasta 2024 teníamos todos los comentarios de 4 y 5 estrellas para esta propiedad. En 2024 recibimos comentarios de que el anuncio no había dejado claro que la villa es la casa familiar de los propietarios, y que alquilan los 2 apartamentos a los huéspedes. No utilizan su jardín o la zona de la piscina y hacen todo lo posible para respetar la privacidad. Tienen su propio jardín familiar en la parte trasera de la propiedad y para 2025 han preparado su propia entrada desde la carretera. Los propietarios dejan el aparcamiento para su uso exclusivo (aunque ocasionalmente pueden utilizar el camino de entrada para descargar). Por supuesto, ¡tienes la ventaja añadida de que los propietarios pueden ayudarte si necesitas algo!

Un poco sobre la zona:
Tenga en cuenta que la información automática sobre distancias puede ser engañosa en las zonas rurales. Aunque algunos lugares pueden parecer cercanos «en línea recta», las rutas a pie suelen ser poco prácticas.

La propiedad está cerca del centro histórico de la ciudad medieval amurallada de Lucca y también de la estación de tren de Lucca - 2,1 km a pie y 4 km en coche.

Desde la estación de tren de Lucca se puede viajar regularmente a Florencia, Pisa, Montecatini y la costa directamente y también existe la posibilidad de llegar por ejemplo a Siena con un solo cambio.

Explorar Lucca en bicicleta es una de las actividades favoritas y hay muchos lugares donde alquilarlas en ........

Idealmente situado a sólo 50 minutos en coche de Florencia, a media hora de Montecatini, a media hora de Pisa, a 20 minutos de la playa, a 90 minutos de Siena, a 40 minutos de la zona montañosa de Garfagnana y de la ciudad medieval de Barga, este es un lugar ideal para aquellos que quieran explorar la zona de una manera fácil.

Pero con tanto que hacer en la hermosa ciudad amurallada de Lucca, este es también un lugar ideal para un largo fin de semana de distancia....Lucca, tiene mercados regulares, mercados de antigüedades, conciertos al aire libre, tiendas de diseño, conciertos de ópera, la pared para el ciclismo, la relajación, parques infantiles, un montón de restaurantes y bares, hermosas plazas.

Torre del Lago - "la torre sobre el lago", famosa por su festival de Puccini - 25 minutos
Lerici - zona de playa más arriba hacia Génova - 50 minutos
La Spezia - para el famoso patrimonio mundial de la UNESCO Cinque Terre - 1 hora
Pistoia - ciudad cultural - 35 minutos
San Giuliano Terme - baños termales - 15 minutos
Pietrasanta - hermosa ciudad medieval y Marina - 35 minutos con el puerto deportivo a sólo 30 minutos

Great accommodation near Lucca

Very helpful host makes you feel really welcome. Large well equipped apartment with bathroom for each bedroom. Excellent pool and outside facilities. Surroundings outside the garden with a waste water plant nearby is the only thing preventing 5 stars.

Lovely Lucca

We had 6 days in the Lucca region and we loved it! Lucca city was fabulous, never a problem parking outside the city walls, and the shops and restaurants were many and varied. A wonderful visit!

very nice stay

we were a group of 8 with 2 children 6 & 11, the apartments were very clean , the grounds were great and the pool was a great way to keep everyone happy. Just 10 minutes from Lucca, the only negative was you need your own transportation which we had so it was not an issue

Clean and welcoming

The apartments are modern and well stocked. Be aware that the apartments are up two flights of stairs. The owners occupy the ground floor apartment and were very responsive to our questions and needs. The kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the patio grill. Plenty of room for all of us (7 people total). The AC was a must and was a welcomed respite after a day of exploring. We were minutes from the walled city of Lucca. It was an easy drive to Barga. We took day trips to Florence and Siena as well. Highly recommend!

Great property, with pool.

The property was perfect for my 9 people. Designed to be split into two separate apartments. The pool was the big hit. After hot days on tours, coming back to a pool was perfect. I would recommend a rental car. The house is 1.2 miles from Lucca.

Fabulous holiday!

Fabulous holiday in very comfortable villa - excellent facilities for 2 families (4 adults and 4 young adults). Plenty of space for us all to relax both inside and out and good kitchen facilities made cooking easy. Pool area was lovely and spotlessly clean - great outside eating area and BBQ. Perfect location as quiet and peaceful but close enough to walk to Lucca in the evening and explore pretty villages/restaurants nearby. Close to local supermarket which had huge range of produce and good access to station so day trip to Florence was enjoyed by all! Would highly recommend for two families or a large group. Owners very helpful and friendly but also not at all intrusive despite living on site. Possibly one of the best holidays we have had with our good friends and their family and we have shared a few since the kids were little!

Perfect

We were picked up at the train station by our helpful host, and welcomed by his lovely wife on arrival at the property. Both ensured we were able to ask them anything. The apartments and outdoor areas are immaculate and well-maintained. Having two areas for 3 family groups was very helpful. There were spaces for us all to gather and also the opportunity for quieter spaces when needed. The apartment is well-equipped with appliances and cooking and serving utensils. The beds were very comfortable, large rooms and great bathrooms. The weather (and water) were still a little too cool for us to fully utilise the beautiful pool - but this did not stop a few of us from trying. The outside dining area was lovely. We hired bikes in Lucca for all 8 of us. This was a great option for us as we did not want to be driving. Thank you for your organisation, Lorraine. Thank you especially to Elaine and Sanai - you are kind and generous people. We loved getting to know you and your family.

Villa Rosa was fantastic.

I really didn't want to write this review as I may be cutting my nose off and spoiling our chances of another visit! I have travelled alot and am not easily pleased and have never reviewed our holiday but we had such a fantasitic time I felt I ought to. Villa Rosa is fantastic. It was absolutely immaculate to say the least. facilities were great especially the kitchen which was filled with everything any decent cook needed. A family of four in each apartment would be great but for those with smaller children there is a sofa bed too which would do the job, two couples could share one apartment easily, with the two huge bathrooms you would easily manage. The owners are on site but to be honest we hardly saw them and when we did they were lovely, really knowledgable and helpful, even giving us a discount card for the local supermarket. Location wise this spot is fantastic, five minutes drive fro Lucca with access to major motorway only minutes away, train station is on your doorstep. We travelled to Pisa, Florence and Sienne with ease as well as the many beaches and mountain villages. You could spend a couple of days in Lucca alone with its lovely shadey streets and many places to eat or drink coffee. I don't like to recommend holiday destinations as everyone has different tastes, but if you want to have a good look around northern Italy and stay in a clean, beautiful villa with access to major tourist spots then this is definately for you. For all we had done our research this was definatley a lucky find.

Good stay but not quite as expected

We have just returned from a week in Lucca. We had a lovely rine and particularly enjoyed the outside space which really make this rental. The pool was very welcome in the extreme heat and the garden space around the pool is great, with plenty of space to relax and dine. Always able to get shade too. It is 2 separate apartments which worked well as we were 2 families so it was nice to have our own space. The following areas were disappointing and not as expected or advertised - you are renting 2 2nd floor apartments within a villa, not the whole villa. The ground and first floor are occupied by the owner and their family. Whilst they dont use the pool and garden, they are always around and have a balcony that overlooks the pool and so it doesnt feel very private. There was also noise in the apartment from the children living downstairs. It feels like you are renting a room in somebody's house rather than renting a villa. If you want a private space, this is not for you. - the listing says the owners have their own entrance and parking but they don't and park inside the gates right infront of the pool. This made it more difficult getting our 2 cars in and out and again doesnt make it feel private. - the listing says there is a ping pong table in the garden but there isnt - there is a municipal dog pound on the same road so you do get a lot of dog barking, particularly in the evenings

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the property and the beautiful garden. We have had in depth discussions with the owner over the winter and they confirm they will no longer use the driveway unless for unloading and will park outside. We have also amended the advert to clearly state this is a 2 apartment Lucca holiday, with the rare benefit of being, located well for exploring & a pool for exclusive use but that it is a family home. The balcony above the pool is not used but I understand the 'sense' of being overlooked.

Schöne Zeit in Lucca

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in Lucca. Die Gastfamilie war sehr freundlich, spricht gutes Englisch und hatte uns Ihre Rabattkarte für den Supermarkt ausgeliehen. Trotz dessen, dass sie mit auf dem Gelände wohnt, wurden wir zu keiner Zeit gestört und hatten unsere Privatsphäre. Der Eingang und Pool Bereich ist separiert und nicht einsehbar. Der Gastvater hat zudem jeden morgen den Pool gereinigt. Die beiden Apartments haben Klimaanlagen in jedem Zimmer. Neben dem klasse Pool war eine Außenküche mit starkem Grill und Kühlschrank. Die Nähe zu Pisa und Lucca ist super für Ausflüge. Durch den Pool waren wir nur zweimal am Strand, welcher aber innerhalb von 25 Minuten mit dem Auto erreicht werden kann.

Tolle Unterkunft in Lucca

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Lucca. Wir hatten uns Fahrräder geliehen, damit war man in 10 min in der Innenstadt. Der Pool und der Außenbereich waren sehr gut. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war einfach und man hat unter der Woche nicht viel von ihm mit bekommen. Die Tischtennisplatte war aktuell kaputt und nicht verfügbar.

Nicht weiterzuempfehlen!

Keine Villa, nur 2 Wohnung im 2.Obergeschoss mit sehr viel Treppensteigen und Garten/Poolbenutzung, dort wohnt eine 3 Generationen Familie im EG und im 1.OG mit 3 kleinen Kindern, die sich alle sehr laut verhalten. Morgens um 8.30 war an Schlafen nicht mehr zu denken. Bis spät abends 11.30 waren die Kinder aktiv. Auch am Pool war es so laut zu hören, dass man nicht ungestört sein konnte. Nach 3 Tagen haben wir dies dem Vermieter mitgeteilt und es wurde nur kurzfristig besser. Der Vermieter war bei verschiedenen Gelegenheiten sehr hilfsbereit, was toll war. Der Eigentümer hat aber nicht gewusst, dass wir mit Hund kommen. Er selbst hat Katzen, was zu Konflikten geführt hat. Das sollte man bei Buchung mit Hund wissen! Außerdem wurde das Gartentor oftmals offen gelassen, ohne uns in Kenntnis zu setzen, so dass unser Hund das Grundstück verlassen konnte und es fast zum Unfall kam. In ca. 100m Entfernung befindet sich ein Tierheim, was Ganztägig zu Hundegebell geführt hat. In ca. 150/200m Entfernung ist ein sehr großes Klärwerk, was zu intensiver Geruchsbelästigung geführt hat. Kühlschrank im Garten war mit Ameisen bevölkert und ist bei Ankunft erstmal von uns gereinigt worden,kein Backofen vorhanden, dadurch konnten wir keine Pizza backen und unser Geburtstagskind nicht mit einem Kuchen überraschen Waschmaschine hat 2 Wochen nicht funktioniert, kein vorhanden

Thank you for your review which I feel may be negatively biased, grossly exaggerated and in some part factually incorrect due to the fact the owner was surprised you arrived with 2 dogs instead of the 1 agreed, were leaving dog poop in the garden for him to clear, opened sofa beds to use for dogs to sleep on (using blankets from the bedrooms) despite the agreement that dogs were not to use furniture. Furthermore the house was left in a real mess and an additional cleaner was needed on changeover. This was all reported to the agency during your stay. There were 2 ovens, but of the countertop type. They are perfectly fine for cakes and for the chef when she provides meals. However, if you had reported that you didn’t feel you could make a cake in the oven, we would have arranged for one to be delivered. The owner does listen to feedback and since some other guests have mistaken these ovens for additional microwaves he has has removed 1 small oven and replaced with a full size oven for 2025. We do not understand the comment that there was no washing machine. As you are aware there were 2 washing machines on site, and the 2nd was reported broken a few days into your stay. The owner was upset that there was some difficulty in finding an engineer speedily (due to Italian Bank Holidays) but a lovely guest in your party said you were happy to share 1 machine while an engineer was found. This resulted in your 2nd machine not being repaired until towards the end of your stay. You were kept fully informed, and advised it was not a problem at all. Our advert has been recently updated to make it clearer owners are living at the house.

Mooi huis, fijn verblijf maar niet zoals beschreven staat

Het verblijf was heerlijk, de appartementen ruim, netjes en met goede inventaris. De ligging is verder van de stadsmuren af dan de tekst beloofd. Het is 15 tot 20 minuten met de auto en zeker 45 minuten lopen. In het donker is dat laatste geen pretje want de straten zijn donker. Handig om te weten dat er geen restaurants in de buurt zijn en er bijna geen taxi's zijn. Fietsverhuur is er veel maar allemaal binnen de stadsmuren. Afval scheiden is zeer belangrijk maar niet goed georganiseerd in het huis. De eigenaar checkt de hele dag door of alles wel goed is gescheiden tot vervelends toe. De eigenaar is ook best aanwezig. Het appartement is op de 2e verdieping (niet 1e zoals de tekst beschrijft) en de verdiepingen daaronder worden bewoond door de eigenaren. Zij scharrelen de hele dag rond. Vriendelijke mensen maar niet erg privé bij het zwembad.

I will write to you separately re the waste separation as we would like to make it more simple and suggestions are welcome! I will also speak with the owner re privacy - he is usually very good with this. Best wishes, Lorraine at tuscan-retreats NB - for future guests, the walk to the City walls is 2.3km as per google maps and just over half hour, but it may feel longer in the heat! To the station is 2.1km and 29 mins. Part of the walk from the house will be unlit and without pavements - until you are closer to the walls. We have tried the drive on various occasions, in summer traffic and it is 10 mins. Taxis do need to be booked in advance but if you are a group of only 6 then the owner will also operate a taxi service for you on request. Our recommendation is however to hire a car unless you are staying in an apartment in the City walls - but then you sacrifice having a pool.

To lejligheder. Plads nok til ti, som vi var. Ikke klart af annoncen, at vi skulle bo på 2. Sal Køkkenet indbød ikke til større kogekunst. Ingen ovn. Dejligt poolområde. 2 km fra muren i Lucca, men et stykke af vejen smal, befærdet og uden fortorv

Each apartment does have a microwave and also a good size counter top oven but the owner is studying to see if he can place a full size oven at the pool area since we appreciate a full size oven will be much easier. Een prachtige vakantie in Toscane

Wat een warm welkom door de gastheer. Geen enkel moeite was teveel voor hem of het nu een reservatie in een restaurant betreft of een gordijn tegen de zon. Ook de rest van de familieleden waren zeer behulpzaam. Alles was voor ons daar super.

Utmärkt boende nära Liucva

Nära den trevliga staden Lucca. Gav direkt känslan av Toscana. Bra lägenheter, bra pool och uteplats med grillmöjligheter. Mycket trevlig värd, som var väldigt serviceinriktade.

Relaxing holiday

2 families: 4 adult and children aged 18,16,14,9. Wonderful host couple welcomed us and gave us thorough tour of apartment. Extra towels no problem. Dishwashing powder no problem. Laundry detergent no problem. So helpful and hospitable. Pool cleaned every morning. Fridge, sink, bbq and gas stove by pool an absolute bonus. Things to be aware of: the apartments are on the 2nd floor so no easy indoor/outdoor flow. Quite a few mosquitoes and flies by the pool. We decided to purchase mosquito nets at ikea and ‘wrap’ the pergola which made it so nice to eat dinner by the pool. We loved our week at the house and will recommend it to other families.

Gerne wieder.

Die 2 Wohnungen sind sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Besitzer wohnen ebenfalls im Haus und sind jederzeit hilfsbereit, freundlich aber nie störend. Im Garten mit schönem Pool kann man wunderbar relaxen. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.

SUPERB VILLA LOVELY LOCATION

The owners could not have been more charming or helpful. The villa is excellent and in a lovely location. A 20 minute walk into Lucca, or a 5 minute drive. The pool area is excellent with shade when needed. The accomodation is spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Very nice house close to lucca

Close to the beautiful town of Lucca, very friendly and hospitable owners and lovely house with lot of space. We loved it! We would recommend to rent bikes to go to lucca.

Wonderful, peaceful, and beautiful!

The villa outside of Lucca was a perfect place for us. The rooms were clean and spacious. We were six in all and we rented both apartments on the top floor which means we had access to two kitchens and 4 bathrooms. We enjoyed everything about our stay, including the pool, trips to the local supermarket, collecting water from the fountain near the aqueduct. It was a wonderful place to come back to and relax after a long day of sightseeing. The owners were very friendly and hospitable, always willing to help answer any questions we had. We hope to be able to come back one day. This place is a great example of “La dolce vita”.

Lovely villa in great locstion

“Idyllic stay in perfect location” Perfect location. Lovely uninterrupted views of the Tuscany hills but only on a short drive, or 40 minute walk into the amazing town of Lucca. This fully walled town is a real gem with a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes that seems to have escaped the tourist hordes in places like Sienna, San Gimignano and others. It's central location makes visits to Pisa, Florence, beaches, vineyards etc. all within easy reach. The villa is lovely, we had the two adjoining apartments for our whole family which gave us lots of space and also some independence for our adult daughters. The rooms are well appointed with traditional furniture and modern and well appointed bathrooms and kitchens. The private pool and outside area is a lovely and was used everyday for cooling swims and alfresco eating. The owners live in the property and are around to help with anything you may ask and to offer suggestions on restaurants, places of interest etc. The apartments are on their own floor with separate entrance so you really feel that you have your own independent villa and the owners are very unobtrusive and you only see them iif you need any assistance. We had a fantastic stay at this property and can recommend to anyone, particularly if it is a large family or even two families using both apartments.

We had rented both apartments which were very nice and clean. However we had been shown around and everything explained and there was no mention of the downstairs communal room by the pool until we asked. He than said it was not ready but we could have it the next day and we feel we would not have had the use of it if we had not asked. Also the pool area was very nice but they have 3 cats which come around you and as our daughter was pregnant we were not happy with this, as this was not mentioned in advert. As the villa is a distance away from the walls of Lucca I would suggest you rent a car as taxis are very expensive and hard to come by.

Thank you for your review - we are glad you had a good time and enjoyed these beautiful apartments! I am sorry the communal area was not available for you on arrival - previous guests had asked if they could stay on late and the owner agreed they could use the downstairs area. The cleaner then got called away so it was left for the owners to prepare the following morning. This should have been made clear to you on arrival and not left until you asked. I am afraid the owner is so kind that he finds it difficult to say no to requests, but he now understands that guests will have to adhere to check out times unless there is nobody checking in same day. We hope you got good use of this area (which is being improved for next year too) for the rest of your stay. With regards to the cats, we understand this was raised when you were at the property. They do not belong to the owners but cats do just appear in Italy as they do in lots of countries where they have a different attitude to cats and spaying. They often live between various houses depending on wherever they get fed, and of course at rental properties guests often feed cats as they feel sorry for them which encourages them to try and adopt a place for home. We do annotate our adverts if there are resident pets, since we are aware some people have allergies or phobias, but I am afraid there is little we can do re those that are 'homeless. '. although they do tend to be pretty transient and will probably move on somewhere else .... For future guests, do note that the owners can assist with booking taxis, and they also offer a personal taxi service to guests at a lesser cost than local firms (and do airport runs) but they can only take a maximum of 6 guests so they are only able to do this for smaller groups. Many guests walk in, but it is 2.6km which is why we recommend hiring a car. Thank you for taking the time to submit a review of your stay.
