2 Harbour House is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. We loved the views of the bustling harbour and so perfectly placed for access to St Ives beaches, shops and great restaurants. Very helpful and friendly owners and management team

Best Cornwall holiday
Beautiful property, amazing ever-changing views, plenty to do even in the rain! Right next to shops, restaurants, etc, but very effective double glazing means no noise and a great night's sleep.

2 harbour house
I can’t recommend this property enough. Orange roofs made the booking and check in process seamless and efficient. Information on how to get to the property, parking space and how to enter the property were clear and easy to follow. It was perfectly located in the heart of st ives with outstanding views of the harbour, Close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Due to the one flight of steep steps it may be difficult for anyone with restricted mobility. On arrival a lovely welcome pack was received. Housekeeping were efficient, friendly and quick when requested to change the double bed into 2 singles. The property was beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped(including fish boning tweezers) making you feel completely at home. We were four ladies spending an extended weekend away, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 2 harbour house feeling it was one of the best properties visited in st ives. We would definitely hope to return for another fabulous stay.

A winter getaway.
After a very long journey, 12 hours in all, down to St Ives it was with relief that we, my daughter and I, entered the very beautiful flat in Harbour House.
As it was out of peak season driving through St Ives and parking outside the property was relatively straight forward as was finding the parking space after we had unloaded our bags.
We were bowled over with the overall cleanliness, spaciousness, attention to detail and felt immediately at home. The gift of scones, jam, clotted cream and wine was the icing on the cake.
We had a very relaxing time of it, which was the plan, and found to our delight that we also got quite a lot of our Christmas shopping done in the individual and quirky shops that were open.
We visited the Tate, Barbara Hepworth and Leach Pottery all of which were much quieter than the summer months.
We look forward to booking this apartment again and enjoying it's location in the heart of Harbour with easy access to all local amenities.

Lovely place with great views
Great location right on the wharf overlooking the harbour where you can admire the view or just watch the world go by, also convenient for galleries, shops and restaurants etc. being right in the heart of St. Ives. Very nicely furnished living/dining areas with nice personal touches with everything you could wish for. Secure undercover parking was provided although given this is St. Ives it was 10-15min walk away. Only downside were the bedrooms which were tucked in at the back with little outlook/natural light hence the 4 stars, otherwise it would have been 5.

Perfection!
We had a wonderful stay at 2 Harbour House. The apartment is so cozy and comfortable, and it is even cuter in person! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking (we only cooked breakfast). There were manuals available so you were able to look up any questions you might have (i.e. how to run a European washing machine) and Orange Roofs was quick to respond to any question we had that was not answered by a manual. There were also maps of the area to use, in order to explore the surrounding country side.
We loved sitting in any one of the three bay windows to watch the harbor during high and low tide. We had one day of "rough seas" and that provided some pretty amazing waves crashing into the sea walls.
The only thing that you might need that is not provided is paper towels and napkins. And since this is an apartment and not a hotel, you will need to bring your own shampoo and shower gel.
The scones that were provided upon our arrival were so yummy! What a great way to start our Cornwall vacation. We had one of the best meals of our 10 day trip at the Cellar Bistro (recommended by Orange Roofs).
We would stay here again in a heart beat! It was perfection! If I can figure it out, I will add our own photos!

Fantastic flat: fantastic location.
First impressions, although traffic is slow on the front, parking and off loading cases was fine. On arrival in flat we were like kids in a sweetie shop, rushing from window to window admiring the view. Indeed every free moment during the week was spent sitting watching life go by in the harbour. So restful.
The flat was well equipped withcoffee machine, dishwasher etc. 3 toilets and showers and a bath: no complaints there. What probably sets it apart is the fact that the people at Orange Roofs were genuinely keen to make the experience as good as possible. Prior to arrival we got emails giving advice on how to maximise our stay. Also during our stay they were in contact. We had a problem with our HDMI cable. I emailed to say there was a problem but since weather was ok it was not an issue but to be aware for the next tenants. Within 24hrs a new cable was couriered to the flat. Now that's service!
St Ives itself is lovely and the flat is located centrally so that restaurants and pubs are within easy walking distance.
Overall this was a lovely holiday and the location and condition of the flat was an integral part of it. The service provided by Orange Roofs staff could not be bettered. Thank you so much.

The best view in St Ives
The apartment was stunning and all the communication prior to arrival was prompt and very helpful. This is a place where you don't want your holiday to end. We will most certainly be back as soon as we can.

Great location and view
Location Great for people watching and Harbor access. Staff was quick when we needed something. Only downside was that the steps leading up to the property are very narrow and quite steep which may be a problem for some.

St Ives is alway an amazing place.
Having been a frequent visitor to St Ives since 1981 you can tell how much we love the place, but this apartment is something extra special.
To be able to sit and just look out of any of the 3 bay window at such wonderful views is priceless.

Perfect apartment perfect location
Absolutely beautifully presented apartment where everything has been considered to ensure a great stay. Underfloor heating, mood lighting, coffee machine and welcome cream tea all add to the experience . Very comfortable, loved sitting at the window seat just watching the changing tides, waking up every morning to those views took my breath away and we never tired of them. Loved St Ives was very pleased to see so much open in February and a healthy amount of visitors. Wish we had booked another week!

Superb
It was the easiest arranged holiday ever. The accommodation was wonderful, from the cleanliness, its position in St. Ives to the cream tea welcome in the apartment. I have never known my husband to feel so relaxed and at ease with everything from the get go. Fully equipped with quality equipment and utilities. Light, bright and spacious, comfy large beds, three bathrooms effectively! The window seating was fabulous and the views to die for. Ideal spot if you like people watching, boats bobbing etc. All maps and local information supplied. All booklets supplied on how to use any of the equipment. It's a great place whatever the weather. We ate in great places most on the doorstep to the apartment. If we had any queries Sam answered them immediately. If I had to say any down side, the few steep steps up to the apartment would not be suitable for disabled. We would definitely go back again and especially this apartment and book through Sam and Orangeroofs. Thank you for making this so easy and enjoyable.
