Unidad del tercer piso muy bien decorada, capacidad para 8 personas, excelentes vistas al golfo.

Destin Towers está en el corazón del tranquilo pueblo de pescadores que llamamos Destin. El edificio está alejado del ajetreo y el bullicio, por lo que es tranquilo y relajante. Esta unidad se encuentra en el tercer piso y tiene vistas espectaculares, ya que puede disfrutar de los amaneceres con un poco de café recién hecho.

Nuestros condominios están completamente amueblados, solo traiga su toalla de playa y protector solar. Este complejo privado ofrece una piscina frente al golfo y una bañera de hidromasaje. La Unidad 31 tiene 1 King en el dormitorio principal, 2 camas Queen en el dormitorio de invitados y 2 baños completos. Sofá cama en la sala de estar.

Everything was great. Loved that it was a smaller complex and not over crowded. The place was very clean and stocked well. Although it was clean the condo had a bad smell. The beds were soooo comfortable!!! We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing and beautiful

I read some reviews that weren't that great but I'm glad I took a leap because our family of 5 enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for my bf and our 4, 5, and 6 year old. Beautiful views and very clean. Great location to everything.

Amazing views, perfect location!

My children and myself had the best time here. The beds in our unit were very comfortable and we all slept very well. Having a full kitchen really was a great convenience. Our place was very clean and welcoming and we hope to be able to use the same unit when we travel back to Destin next March!!

Ocean view from 3rd floor balcony was beautiful.

Gate and property code didn’t work upon arrival. Entrance on 2nd floor from parking deck was not very appealing. Our condo was on 3rd floor. Old beach accessories were left in hallway and not discarded. Our condo was very nice and well equipped. The only exception was the bedding in both rooms. Beds were very uncomfortable and outdated. Definitely needs new mattresses. The swimming pool area was clean and well kept and enjoyable. Entrance to beach was very accessible.

Could’ve been way better!

We stayed at Destin Towers, which is one of favorite places to be. Everything was good during check in. The room wasn’t what we expected tho. The refrigerator ice maker didn’t work at all, plus the fridge wasn’t getting cold. We called maintenance. They somewhat fixed the coldness but didn’t fix the ice maker. The a/c wasn’t the greatest either. We won’t ever book anything again from the 3rd floor down. There is no view. They need to upgrade this room with better pots/pans etc. very lacking. We will continue to go to Destin Towers, just not this room.

This unit needs updating

We have stayed at Destin Towers multiple times over the past few years and have always had a great experience. However, this unit is in desperate need of repair. The pictures are very deceiving. Both of the beds are in need of new mattresses- the guest room bed was so bad we would roll to the middle of the bed and ended up having to sleep sideways in the bed the entire week! The sofa was sagging in the middle and the mattress on the pullout was so thin you were almost sleeping on springs. Several of the outlets in both bedrooms were not functioning and in need of repair. When we arrived the freezer drawer would not close on the refrigerator and the whole fridge would not cool. I was able to reach someone and they repaired the door but we lost some of the groceries we had bought the night before because of the problem. We overall were very disappointed with the condition of this unit. Destin Towers is an older building, but most of the units are very well maintained- this one is not. I would not stay here again!

Spacious Condo in great location

The good: Condo is in a great central location of Destin with easy access to the beach. Condo is spacious, interior was clean, and the check-in process was very easy. Just get your door codes and go. What can be improved: 1)The VRBO "host" never responded to my messages prior to arrival. 2) The queen size bed mattress had very little support. I would sink into the mattress every time I laid down which made sleeping uncomfortable. Mattress has no spring and needs to be replaced. The twin size bed mattress sunk the same but not as bad 3) Several of the windows had no curtains or blinds including the window panes at the entrance of the apartment. Anybody in the main hallway on the 3rd floor can see directly into the apartment because of glass panes that are completely uncovered. 4) Some of the cooking pans are very old and need to be replaced. The coating on them is completely gone and leave soot on the washing sponge. 5) Place will come with no cleaning supplies besides dish soap and a small dish sponge. You won't have anything else such as a cleaning spray to wipe down surfaces. No extra trash bags. You only get the bag that is in the trash can. Granted, the check-in instructions will give you some warning about this, but I wasn't completely sure of the extent until I got there and saw for myself.

Condo 31 of Destin Towers

Below average condo For example here are a few very simple things that would have made our stay better: Pans that could actually be cooked in. Bed that did not make the god awful noise every time you moved. Noisy toilet that ran 24-7 HVAC that kicks on and off all night that wakes you up, so rest was very challenging. Furniture in living room was not comfortable….flat worn out Tile on patio - about 1/3 of the tiles are busted. It is really a shame because this condo is beautifully located and has a very nice view. The layout is good. All the items above could be fixed for small investment.

Almost a win

Well….this is a tricky one to review. I will start with the pros of this place: the location is perfect. Right in the main strip, target, Dunkin’ doughnuts, grocery are all close. The beach is absolutely amazing. There is no lie about this area being some of the best beaches in the world. Using number pads to get into the unit and public areas is crazy smart so you don’t have to manage keys. The property is on the smaller side so you can always get a chair at the pool and a place at the beach. In general- it’s a perfect get away. The cons: the unit itself is a very basic rental. Everything is pretty worn out. The couch is so stained that we covered it with a blanket, the chair pads were really stained too. The pots and pans are scratched from years of use and the overall amount of kitchen utensils seem to have disappeared over the years and not been refilled. Knives are dull, cutting boards are stained and smelly…it felt like everything has been used SO many times. Maybe this doesn’t matter to you- we managed- but it would be nice to get some new stuff. The master bedroom master was probably the worst bed I have ever encountered in a rental. It’s like two scoops have been carved into the bed. You cannot sleep in your stomach. We slept terribly. Especially the husband who had back surgery last year. I read this in a previous review- but didn’t realize it was really that bad. It is. It’s awful. The couch sleeper is old spring coil mattress. When we lifted it up there was old food waste underneath it. It was unsleepable even for a kid. Luckily we found a single cot for the six year old and set him up in the giant closet in the master. His own little room! Most of the electric outlets are so loose that we couldn’t keep lamps plugged in. The fans included we absolutely filthy. And as far as the view- if you want a view of the ocean- i would try to get another floor above this one. You can see the ocean, but you have to stand because of the palm trees. One of those things you learn the hard way. I would also recommend the other side of the property- you will have a unobstructed view of the ocean whereas this property is right next to another condo and doesn’t get any sun. Again- depends what you want. Last complaint- day two- i couldn’t understand what the smell was…until…i discovered a glob of dead fish in the disposal that wasn’t taken care of. It was disgusting and I had to use a bag to remove it while gagging.

Great Place

Loved the Condo overall. Great location. Easy access to the beach, dining, and the boardwalk. The condo definitely could use more kitchen utensils.... We cooked most of the time we were there and the utensils were sparse. Also the plugs were older so most of our chargers just fell out of the wall plugs.... I would recommend staying here.... Spacious and clean and just what we needed.

Always wonderful at Destin Towers

Property was fantastic, but washer and dryer were not functioning properly. When I called, they were already aware and new ones were ordered and they sent maintenance to help with a band-aid fix for us. Otherwise wonderful stay.

Owner needs to spend some money

The mattresses all need to be replaced, couch sags in the middle, washing machine needs fixed. We tried to turn light on in spare bedroom and it fell apart. After a day of walking around barefooted, our feet was dirty. Don’t think they cleaned the floors very well.

Destin Spring Reak

Went with daughter and her bestie (15 yo’s). Close to the ocean walking to some local stuff good local restaurants. Property was clean with an excellent view and access to the ocean.

Family Vacation

We have stayed at the Destin Towers for our family vacation for over 10 years now. We love the location, but this unit was our least favorite unit. The unit is dated with an older HVAC which is very noisy and bathtub/showers are tired looking. The unit was not cleaned properly either. The master tub was clogged and not used, filter on the HVAC was dirty and several light bulbs were out. Management responded but the clogged tub required a plumber that could not come out during our stay. This was the the only unit available. We will stay at Destin Towers again, but will shy away from this particular unit unless it is “renovated”.

Great Stay

The overall property was definitely dated. It could use a lot of updates. However, our condo was very nice and comfortable. The beach area was so nice and so close. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

Nice vacation spot

1st time to Destin with my family. Beautiful beach and amazing water. Our unit was exactly what they said it would be, nicely decorated and conveniently located to walk many places to eat and shop. I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because the hallways need some TLC... overall great experience here.

I have stayed here a total of 9 times, this is the first time that we have arrived to a condo that was not clean, the toilets were dirty, there was hair everywhere. The kitchen area and bathrooms had not been cleaned on arrival

First Trip to Destin

Very spacious 2 bedroom condo. Decorated perfectly and very cozy. Enjoyed our trip even though we started out with a tropical storm. Only negative WiFi password didn’t work. But no big deal.
