Great location - about 8 minutes from Hocking Hill park and conference center.cute enough cabin, quiet and in the trees.Smelled strongly of fireplace smoke Main issue was spotty and unreliable wifi. We spent most time exploring and hiking our first day so no big deal, but after a busy second morning of more hiking, we wanted to relax and watch Ohio State and college football and that was not possible. We ended up leaving early. Signage around the area claimed Spectrum is coming soon so maybe that will fix that issue.Hot tub was nice too.

We had a great time staying at the Pioneer Chalet and exploring Hocking Hills for the first time! The chalet was clean and exactly as listed, very easy check in and check out experiences. We loved the hot tub! It's in a great location, easily drivable to local, popular hiking sites and restaurants, but quiet and private, as well.

Just wish we could have stayed longer but we were limited in time. We did have to go buy batteries for the remotes but otherwise everything we needed was there or we brought. We're hoping to be able to return to the same cabin for a longer stay sometime in the near future.
