The beaches in Panama can be hot and not as cool as the highlands, so it is essential that you know what you are looking for. The house has several windows facing the ocean breezes, but when it is not windy it could get stuffy, which is why we have A/Cs in the bedrooms. The restaurants at the beach do open throughout the year, but mostly on weekends to cater to locals/visitors who make their way to the beach.

Thanks for your positive review. Yes, we had some issues with the refrigerator, but we are glad to have fixed the situation in a timely manner. We're happy that you enjoyed a quiet stay.

Based on your review, it sounds like 3 stars should have been been 4 or 5 stars, but we'll continue to try to improve the house to make it the perfect getaway. Hi Jocelyn, I just read your review. I am very disappointed about how you depicted Uverito Beach, the Uverito Beach House, and your experience with me. I told you repeatedly that it was my first time ever using VRBO and that I was on vacation with my family for 3 weeks, so you would have to wait until I returned to get your damage deposit refunded. I did not know how to refund the money and was not going to take my family time to research how to return $200 to you. As soon as I returned home, I refunded the damage deposit, which for you may have seemed like months, but was really 3 weeks or less. I don't have any control over the dogs outside of the property or the local patrons who have a right to use the beach too. The locals almost always go home when it gets dark, and if not, you can't hear the noise from the bedrooms with the AC running. The restaurants in the area are well attended by foreigners and locals alike, so maybe they are not to your high standards, but read other reviews and most people like them. The BBQ had been purchased a while ago and was always covered, so I didn't know what condition it was in, which is why I asked you to look at it before using it. Apparently, it was still in good condition since I have had several renters since your stay in March 2015 use it with no complaints. A tankless hot water heater for the showers and a water pump providing strong water pressure have been installed since your stay. An exterminator was hired to rid the house of any bugs/insects/rodents (if any) in April 2015. I have been successfully renting my beach house for over 12 years. People before and after your stay have had very positive reviews. (See the two 4 star reviews that are on VRBO since your stay). Its unfortunate that Uverito Beach or the house was not to your liking, but there are way too many people who would disagree with most of your review, which is why I will continue to rent out the beach house.
