La Villa se encuentra en una propiedad privada en las colinas de Sorrento (10 minutos en auto).
Completamente inmerso en la vegetación mediterránea típica, puede disfrutar del sol en una terraza con vistas al mar del Golfo de Sorrento.
limoneros bordean el largo camino de entrada, su olor se extenderán a partir de la entrada! En este rincón del paraíso virgen que estará rodeado sólo por los sonidos de la naturaleza.
La casa de piedra local está bien cuidado y atención a los detalles le sorprenderá.
La villa consta de tres dormitorios, dos con cama de matrimonio y otra con dos camas, dos baños, uno con jacuzzi y el otro con ducha. Una cocina equipada con todas las comodidades: quemadores de gas, horno eléctrico, microondas, tostadora, cafetera, vajilla. Por último, un gran salón con televisión. Además, la villa cuenta con wifi y aire acondicionado. piscina al aire libre con tumbonas y hamacas, gran jardín con mesa y sillas. Un amplio aparcamiento en frente de la Villa.

Simply beautiful house and property! Our host was so helpful and attentive to every detail. Wonderful stay!Just be careful about the car you choose to get there. The roads leading to the house are incredibly narrow, and you cannot pass through if you have anything bigger than a small four-passenger vehicle (like a Fiat 500)

We loved our stay at the Villa and Alfonso and Tony were the perfect hosts. We appreciated all the little details, like the basket of fresh veggies and fruit from the garden, the breakfast goodies and the beautiful outdoor pool and terrace where we spent most of our time. It was the perfect location to visit Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Capri with parking for your Vehicle and Vespas. They also picked us up and dropped us off and were there to answer questions as it was our first trip to Italy. We walked to town on a path that took us about 40 min with breathtaking views and could easily bus back from town. The inside of the Villa was beautifully decorated and had hints of Italy and their family through it, making it feel very comfortable and homey. It was truly so much more beautiful than what we were expecting. We didn’t want leave and highly recommend this Villa. We will be back!

It is outside busy Sorrento. Peaceful and relaxing. It is a family run business so has character and history. You need a car to be independent. The roads are very steep and tight bends so need to be a confident driver. The hosts were extremely kind and generous with their time. Highly recommend it all considered.

Wonderful Villa.

Everything about this villa is just perfect. Alfonso and his family could not make booking or check in easier.We are grateful for the wonderful hospitality that certainly was most welcome after a late arrival. The villa is gorgeous and the gardens, pool and views are spectacular. We took the advice of hiring a small car ( Hyundai I20) which was perfect up and down the narrow lane. The villa is well situated for all the sights you may want to visit as well as Borgo’s just up the road for a delicious meal. The beds were so comfortable and the villa was spotless. We enjoyed the pool immensely and although it is not heated it was a real pleasure to use

Really great place! Getting in and out is a little tricky. We love the hike from the Villa into town down a charming path. If you enjoy walking, it’s a great way to get to town. The family was extremely hospitable. Consider cooking your own meals there as they have a great outdoor barbecue and eating area. You will enjoy this villa!

Lovely garden and amazing view

We had a very nice stay in the villa with the lovely garden with the most amazing view over the bay of Napoli with both Vesuvius and Capri in sight. Fresh vegetables, fruits and eggs was a daily luxery. Such friendly hosts. The road leading to the house is very narrow, steep and with sharp turns, so be sure not to bring a large car :)

Lovely Villa!

The villa was beautifully restored by Alfonso and his brother. The grounds were breathtaking, spacious and tranquil. Alfonso was such a gracious host and went above and beyond ensuring we were taken care of including taking us to pick up our rental car, showing us the town and making recommendations. We read the previous reviews so we were prepared for the difficult driving on the backroads to get to and from the villa. Be sure to read the reviews and get the right sized car (super small). I ended up skipping the car most days and took a fantastic road for motorbikes and pedestrians down to town (35 min. walk). You’re immersed in the landscape, olive trees, lemon trees with panoramic views. Just remember it’s a very steep climb back up (and a great workout)! Truly a magical spot.

Quiet and Peaceful, this villa is the perfect place to unwind. Perfect. Absolutely lovely Alfonso will do everything to make you feel at home; so kind, helpful and incredibly friendly!! Love love love!

This property is amazing- from the view, the patio and the comfort of the house. Alfonso is so easy to communicate with. He answered any questions that we had. Each day he or his father delivered fresh produce from their gardens and eggs from the chickens. When we arrived he had meats and bread for sandwiches, chips, cookies and drinks in the fridge. The house is a little tricky to get to in a car (we had an Audi C3- no bigger!) but they met us at Ristorante Il Borgo and showed us the way. This restaurant was recommended by Alfonso and we loved it- stunning view, nice staff, delicious food. Would love to stay here again! We had a wonderful stay.

Unbelievable setting

The property just seems impossible. You’re in an air conditioned villa nestled in an olive grove, surrounded by lemon trees, far above the Tyrrhenian Sea. With a swimming pool. It had me feeling a little imposter syndrome…I am not accustomed to the villa life. My only caution about this idyllic place, is that you have to be comfortable with driving in some tight spots. You will want to rent an appropriate vehicle. We had an Audi Q2 and that would be the absolute biggest car that could work.

Perfect house in the perfect place

I could hardly say more than the previous guests: everything as described: quiet location among the olive trees, huge shadowed terrasse with view on the sea, pleasant garden, warm pool, dayly fresh vegetable from the garden. We definitively had a really resting and pleasant week. Many thanks to Alfonso and his brother for the warm welcome and for filling the fridge for the first evening and morning, to their parents for their friendliness and to Marika. We had to leave one day earlier for personnal reasons and they spontaneously refounded part of the day we missed while we were not even thinking asking for it. This gives anyone an idea of the kind of hosts they are. The only minor point: we stayed too short. So once again thanks you some much for all Alfonso. Emmanuel

Lovely family holiday

We have just enjoyed a delightful week at Alfonso’s villa which is stunningly situated in an olive grove in the hills behind Sorrento. The villa was immaculately clean and well provided with everything we needed for our stay. The views from the beautiful garden balcony were magnificent and the pool was safe and adequate for our three children. Sorrento is a 30 minute walk away but as the hill is very steep you will need to hire a car. Nerves of steel are required for the narrow and busy streets but with so many great destinations a short drive away a car is really a must. Alfonso was a wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble. Every day we were left baskets of eggs, tomatoes, figs, peaches and lemons from the extensive gardens. We enjoyed visits from a family of cute cats and especially tiny fluffy kittens which were a huge hit with our girls. Thank you so much for your generosity during our visit Alfonso, it won’t be forgotten.

Wonderful family-managed property

We had a great stay at this house about 15 min outside of Sorrento. Alfonso and his brother were very helpful in the lead up and during the stay. We appreciated the personal attention that the family provides to the property and to their guests. Alfonso’s father regularly visited to check on his garden and chickens without ever being intrusive. The welcome basket with hone-grown produce was excellent. Also, the air-con also was very comfortable at night, Although we would return without hesitation, I would recommend this property to experienced and confident drivers only. Take the advice seriously to rent a small car. An option that worked well for our family of 5 was to have a van transfer to and from Naples with a small Fiat rented from Sorrento. We were even able to stop for a pizza lunch in Naples. Alfonso was very helpful in assisting with the booking of the transfer and a transfer for my husband to the car rental agency. Lastly, the views from the terrace were beautiful and will be remembered.

Utterly Delightful

If you're looking to book somewhere in this area, don't hesitate! This is the one! Alfonso and his family gave us just about the warmest welcome we have ever received anywhere, and as we were on our honeymoon, they generously gave us a beautiful cake and some bubbly as well as some delicious homegrown tomatoes and basil. Little gifts of homegrown produce continued to discreetly appear during our stay and were very much appreciated. The fridge and house were well-stocked with some essentials on our arrival, which was great and saved us having to immediately leave and go to the supermarket. Alfonso was very helpful and communication was always excellent. The house itself was lovely, with the outside space being a real winner. There are lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun and the views and it was difficult to know whether to go out and explore the surrounding area or just to relax and enjoy the garden and the pool! Highly recommended and we would definitely return here if we ever visit Sorrento again.

A gem on the Amalfi coast

We stayed at the villa for almost a week in late July with our two girls, 10 and 13. We truly enjoyed our experience and hope to go back soon. The house is very comfortable, benefits from a huge patio, a beautiful terrace with amazing views of the coast. You are surrounded by olive trees and enjoy total privacy and quietude. The pool was awesome at the end of the long day. And after the pool, nothing beats watching a romantic sunset on the terrace with a glass of local wine! The house is about a 10 min drive from downtown Sorrento. The access road/driveway is narrow and steep, but so are all the access roads in the region (and many most cities throughout Europe). The few locals who use it will go out of their way (pun intended) to make your life easy. Alfonso and Marika were warm and welcoming. We were able to enjoy fresh produce from their garden every day! They were great in providing tips for things like parking, groceries, beach access and more. If you are hesitant about Sorrento, don’t! It’s an awesome place to spend a vacation. And this house is truly a gem to enjoy the area.

Beautiful house with stunning views

We were a family of 5 who visited Sorrento in late October. The house was just perfect for us. 3 Large bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen and comfortable living area. But it is the garden, pool area and stunning views that make it truly special. The large outdoor tiled dining area is where you will spend most of your time. Great barbecue, great outdoor lighting and everything is so well maintained. The pool was good , very clean and we used it daily even in October. The views over the sea are even better than the photos suggest. Take Alfonsos advice thoughts and hire a small car as the access road is very narrow and the hill was tough for our Qashqui with 5 on board. The welcome we received from Alfonso and his family was very warm and they had plenty of travel advice and kept us stocked with fresh eggs, as well as all the essentials when we arrived. This really is the perfect place to just relax, unwind and enjoy the sunshine and that’s what we did. Things to see : Pompeii needs a whole day but it’s a must see. Also Vesuvius, drive and hike up from car park . Takes only 20 mins to reach the top. If going to Capri make sure your boat tour includes blue grotto. Tide was high when we got there so we missed it. Disappointing

I was left very disappointed with this Villa. My expectations are usually fairly low. This Villa promised so much, but after arriving and taking my socks off, to finding the bottom of my feet black within 5 minutes - this theme continued over the course of the week. It needs a generous clean. There are cob webs everywhere and people are randomly working as you try to enjoy the garden which is also quite surprising and you’re not sure who people are or if they should be there. You simply cannot get anywhere by foot, you rely heavily on Alfonso arranging transport. Sadly, the transport that’s arranged is ridiculously overpriced and for literally what is a 4 minute journey there and back costs €40 each time. It felt like a continuous shake down exercise since arriving. Alfonso arranged a transfer when we left for the airport. The man who had been overcharging us the entire time, promised car seat and bigger car. He arrived 45 minutes late and without a car seat. We had to pick one up, making us late for our flight which we missed and had to rebook. All because this man must have wanted the transfer fee. There is no entertainment for the evening in the Villa. A few programmes in Italian, the TV needs upgrading to have Netflix or something neutral for audiences of different countries.

Wunderschönes Haus, sehr netter Vermieter

Die ganze Anlage mit Haus, Garten und Pool ist sehr schön und gut gepflegt. Die Aussicht ist besonders toll. Die Lage ist auch gut, wenn man über ein kleineres Auto verfügt. Der Parkplatz reicht sogar für mehrere Autos. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich, hat uns Obst, Snacks und Getränke bereitgestellt, und hat mehrmals frische Eier aus dem Hühnerstall vorbeigebracht. Ich kann das Haus nur empfehlen und hoffe das wir irgendwann wiederkommen können.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour avec nos 4 enfants (23 ans à 10 ans). Nous avons été très bien accueillis et très bien conseillés. La maison est très agréable. Son caractère exceptionnel est lié à sa situation: le jardin de citronniers, la lumière, les oliviers, la vue, le patio en font un très bel endroit. Nous rêvons de revenir! Chaque matin, Alfonso nous a fait déposer des œufs frais, des figues, des pêches ! Un grand merci. La seule petite difficulté est la route d'accès très pentue mais surtout très étroite. Louez une petite voiture ! Cela vaut le coup. Nous avons pu en une semaine visiter Naples, Capri, Ishia, Positano, Sorrento, Pompéi et profiter de la piscine avec nos 4 enfants ...ravis. Amazing olive grove

Alfonso and his family are some of the most hospitable people I have ever met. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was very enjoyable and answered any of our questions within minutes. The property was absolutely beautiful and is a great home base to explore Amalfi coast and area. Renting a car will make your stay very comfortable. Thank you Alfonso and Marina and family!

Paradise home

Everything was perfect ! We had a really great time there. The home is just amazing !! We really recommand it !!!!
