Un elegante y renovado apartamento en el segundo piso con vistas a la histórica Royal Mile de Edimburgo. Ubicado en el corazón del casco antiguo de la ciudad, el apartamento es el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de un breve descanso o una estadía prolongada. El apartamento se encuentra a minutos a pie del castillo de Edimburgo, del palacio de Holyrood y de las principales galerías, museos, excelentes restaurantes y las principales zonas comerciales de la ciudad. También está a un corto paseo de la estación de Waverley y tiene buenas conexiones de transporte al aeropuerto de Edimburgo.

El alojamiento en el apartamento consta de tres habitaciones amplias: una habitación tamaño king con baño en suite, una habitación doble y una habitación con dos camas individuales. Hay un cuarto de baño familiar con bañera y ducha. El cuarto de baño tiene una ducha. Como parte de la renovación, las habitaciones han sido equipadas con camas nuevas y hay sábanas de algodón, edredones de plumas y almohadas de plumas (o edredones y almohadas antialérgicas, previa solicitud).

If you want to stay somewhere great then this apartment is it. Smack bang in the middle of everything on the mile. Immaculate and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfy, kitchen decked out and a washing machine which was a bonus for us. Spacious rooms too which we found really good for our baggage etc. Cat is really easy to deal with also.

We loved our stay here and it was perfect for us as 3 adults. It was very central and easy to walk almost anywhere from this location and we loved sitting in the flat overlooking all the activity on the Royal Mile below. The host was very responsive to questions. As others have said, there is a 2 story spiral staircase but once your luggage is in the flat, it was easy. However, we wouldn't recommend it to anyone where stairs are a challenge.

Amazing location, right in the heart of the Old Town and close to all the major sights. The apartment itself was just ok. It’s spacious and has all the things you need, but it feels basic for the money. You’re clearly paying for the location. Hosting felt a bit phoned-in, too. I had to ask about check in details on the day and we weren’t offered an earlier check-in, despite asking about luggage storage and the fact that the junk mail behind the front door showed no one had been in for a little while. It’s a shame, it wouldn’t take much for this to be a truly fabulous place; just a bit more care and attention.

Great Location!

This apartment was so cute! Great Location! and very comfortable! I was visiting with my two adult children, and we enjoyed this very much! Just plan to walk about spiral staircase with your luggage, which was fine! But if don't have the strength to carry, you will for sure need help! We would definitely return! Host was very responsive as well!

Very Convenient Location to Old Town, Plenty of Space

If you are seeing attractions in Old Town, this is an extremely convenient flat. The location enabled us to see lots of things in a shorter amount of time. This is very convenient to the Royal Mile, the castle, Holyrood Palace, Victoria street and about a 15 min walk to Princes St and a tram stop. Pros:1. Very convenient to the sights in Old Town2. Plenty of room for a family, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.3. Washer/Dryer combo. Worked well for us4. Property owner/manager was easy to contact and responsiveCons (overall minor):1. The royal mile is loud on Saturday nights. Weeknights we were able to drown out the noise easily by closing the inside shutters, but Saturday expect ruckus until the wee hours of the morning and much louder than during the week.2. Tight stairs - This wasn't an issue for us and shouldn't be for most able-bodied individuals, but if you have trouble getting up stairs, or have to carry several heavy items, the narrow circular stairs could be a challenge. There is no lift if you were to need one. 3. Maybe a little more plain than in the pictures. The vinyl flooring and carpet could use a little work, but it was very clean and tidy.

Fantastic flat

Wonderful, extremely clean flat in perfect location. Beds were very comfortable. Stairs are challenging for carrying luggage but once luggage is up, is a total nonissue. At times was a bit loud at night being on the Royal Mile but was absolutely worth the location and price. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Great stay.. was a little warm in the apartment not all the heaters would turn down and the central thermometer didn't work but overall had a great stay. Lots of loud people out late at night but that's what you get when staying right on the like I think. Overall great stay.

Great location, well appointed

We totally loved staying in this apartment in Edinburgh. A few things need some attention for repairs (chairs at the table in the living area) but overall the apartment is great! Beds are comfortable, linens are good, plenty of glasses and dishes in the kitchen. Washer/dryer takes a very long time to do its job, but is new and maybe is just not what we are used. Getting to the apartment is no joke! 55 steps up a narrow spiral staircase! We definitely improved our gluts with that climb! Location cannot be beat! Close to everything! We love Edinburgh and hope to return to this apartment in the future!

Beautiful apartment!

The apartment was beautiful, clean, beautifully decorated and very conveniently located. We loved it! Renters should be aware of the long climb on a spiral staircase required to get to the apartment. When you're carrying your luggage to and from the apartment, it can be pretty challenging -- especially at night as the staircase is not lit.

Xmas in Edinburgh

Had a great stay at the property for our Xmas vacation. Location is central to everything, easy walk to all the main sites. We are a family of 5 and the apartment worked perfectly for us. Space is generous and rooms/beds for everyone.As others have written, stairs are definitely a thing. Was expecting them but didn’t expect them to be narrow spiral staircase. Only an issue when we had to take large suitcases up/down and one early morning when I went out and there were no lights (had to use flashlight on my phone)

Great Location, but take earplugs!

We spent 3 days here in October. It is a great apartment in an amazing location, with everything within easy walking distance. The only thing to be aware of is that as the property is right on the Royal Mile there is some street noise from early morning to late at night, so if you are a light sleeper make sure you pack earplugs.

What a location!

We fully enjoyed our father-daughter trip at this location. Lots of private and community space to laugh, play cards and enjoy the sights & sounds of Old Town. Our dads who are both in their late 70s were able to navigate the 55 steps of the circular staircase! Thank you Cat!!

David bought the Royal Mile flat when he lived in Edinburgh and knows what a great place it is to stay! Before marrying David, Cat was a journalist who travelled extensively as part of her job – often staying in inspiring places. They now hope to offer the best of Edinburgh to guests at the Royal Mile apartment.

Everything you need to enjoy a relaxed stay in the heart of the beautiful and historic city of Edinburgh. The Royal Mile is Edinburgh's most historic street and the only place to stay to soak up the atmosphere of the city.

Despite being a historic property the rooms are bright and spacious. The flat has been renovated in a way that his sympathetic to its past but also feels fresh and contemporary.

There are few flats in Edinburgh that are more central. The views down onto the street below are enhanced by street performers during summertime so you can have your very own personal cabaret just out the window. On the other side of the building the flat offers iconic views to the south of the city.
