This three bedroom, main door flat is in the center of the action, with everything Edinburgh has to offer right on your doorstep. Located on locally trendy Broughton street, and only a few steps from the incredible new St James Quarter with luxury shopping, unique food options, and entertainment, plus the Playhouse theatre. Walk from Waverly Train Station, Picardy Tram stop, or The Royal Mile & Edinburgh Castle, George Street and The Royal Botanic Gardens. This flat is your city centre oasis, a cozy place to kick your feet up and have a cuppa (tea). The lounge has a cushy, oversized corner sofa and chic modern decor. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up the local fishmonger's daily catch. The bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements; primary one offers two single beds with private office or snug space, primary two is a king bed plus private ensuite shower and toilet, bedroom three is a single bed plus private ensuite shower and toilet. Arrange to fit your needs. Beds all have plush mattresses, hotel quality sheets, and lots of pillows for a restful night’s sleep! Bathrooms all include fluffy towels, mats and hand soaps. We really enjoyed our stay at the New Town Broughton property. As advertised, this is a four room apartment with 3 full bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms and then a well-equipped kitchen/sitting room. It’s a short walk to Waverley train station and a reasonable walk, not even a mile, to attractions on the Royal Mile. Directions to the apartment were easy to follow and the host promptly answered any questions we had. Thank you!

Last minute booking

Booked at the last min and Alicia was very responsive to all of our questions. Location was great with plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy walking to all our needs, including a small grocery store and coffee shop.

The location is great. But also the worst. The establishment above it doesn’t close till 11:30 and have music playing and moving chairs around 24/7, and then you have bright sunshine coming in, as soon as the sun is up no curtains or anything. It’s also down stairs, on a main busy road so you feel like you’re in a dungeon. The only good main thing is the bathroom with the tub, also has heated floors. Would not rebook.

We always appreciate a guest's feedback on our space. Yes, being in the city centre means that you will have the hustle and bustle on your doorstep. But that also yields a great opportunity to take in the energy, live like a local, and enjoy everything the Capital has to offer! Edinburgh is a historic city with incredible architecture, but that does mean the flats might be situated a bit differently than you are used to at home. Perhaps that's what lead to your feeling of a dungeon filled with bright sunshine? We do have heavy blackout curtains on all the windows, for both privacy and a little peace if you want to sleep in, sorry you missed that detail. We are pleased you like the heated floors in the bathrooms, we made sure to include many upgrades in this flat to ensure guests had a comfortable stay. Safe travels to your next destination!

Lovely host. Great location in one of Edinburgh's best streets. The property was noisy in the evenings though as there was a bar directly above and the footfall meant considerable noise.

You could not be any more central. This flat is walking distance to everything you'd want to see in Edinburgh. Best food (Escargot Bleu, Coco Bistro), Shopping (St James Quarter or anywhere along Broughton Street for local trinkets), Sites (Calton Hill, The Castle, Royal Mile), Transport (Edinburgh Tram). Simply cannot get any better.
