Hermosa casa costera de Maine

Nuestra casa fue construida en 2001 con un impresionante primer piso de 'concepto abierto' que cuenta con hermosos pisos de madera y grandes ventanas y puertas que permiten que la luz natural llene nuestra casa cuando. entras Con un amplio espacio al aire libre para juegos de jardín, leer al sol o disfrutar de una hermosa puesta de sol, te enamorarás de esta casa por excelencia frente al mar de Maine.

El primer piso cuenta con una cocina completa con despensa, barra de desayuno con encimeras de granito y taburetes, comedor que desemboca en una sala de estar con estufa de leña. Hay una sala de lectura / televisión con televisión, sofá cama y sillas para sentarse / leer. El primer piso también cuenta con un baño completo y un lavadero completo con lavadora y secadora.

El segundo piso tiene tres habitaciones. Todas las habitaciones tienen ventiladores de techo y vestidores. El primer dormitorio tiene una cama de tamaño completo y da a la entrada. El segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales, ideal para niños, y está orientado hacia el costado de la casa (también hay dos colchones inflables disponibles en el armario de esta habitación). El dormitorio principal está frente al agua, con grandes ventanales, una cama queen y una cómoda.

Perfect for Parents’ Weekend

This house is a gem. It was perfect for our visit for parents’ weekend at Bowdoin. The house is down the road in Harpswell from Brunswick and is beautifully and comfortably furnished and well-stocked and clean. Our student was happy to have a few nights at home-away-from home. Although we visited for a fall family weekend the home would be a wonderful place to visit in any season. Dan left easy-to-follow information and lots of great suggestions for activities. We wish we could have stayed longer and spent more time enjoying the view and the outdoors and watch the sunsets from the edge of the water. We felt very lucky to have found this lovely home and terrific host!

Beautiful home

We just spent five days here and left feeling thoroughly relaxed. The house is great and the owner is very responsive and helpful. Comfy furniture both inside and out. Great appliances, including a washer and dryer. Even though there was a television, we didn’t watch it once! We did a lot of hiking at various state parks up and down the coast, and of course visited LL Bean in Freeport. What a great store. We highly recommend this home and hope you’ll love it as much as we did.

Wonderful house and great location

We loved our stay. The property was beautiful and the house was just as described. Lots of nice extras. Dan provided great directions, helpful information, and was very responsive. We would stay here again.

Lovely house and property

Such a pretty house with private grounds and a beach at the end of the lawn. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the owner was super helpful. We especially appreciate that our dog was welcome, with a large crate and bowls provided. Loved every minute!

Wonderful house with beautiful views

The house was beautiful with sweeping views of the water. We enjoyed sitting on the porch as well as walking to the waterfront to sit in the Adirondack chairs. The homeowner was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Although there are 2 bathrooms, one has a shower, and another has a tub. With 5 adults, it would have been helpful to have 2 showers, but we managed. All in all, I highly recommend this house and would stay here again.

Peaceful and Beautiful location!

Absolutely beautiful spot in Harpswell. The home is lovely, comfortable and was impeccable upon arrival. Daniel was communicative and responsive. Great getaway for family and friends! Would highly recommend.

Serene and Charming

This was our first visit but won't be our last. The home, host and location surpassed our expectations even with all of the "10" reviews. The location is so quiet and peaceful-the only noise we heard over 4 days, besides the birds and wildlife, was one running lawnmower from a distance. The home is unique and loaded with charm, as is the town of Harpswell. As others noted, the house lacks for nothing and feels cozy yet well-appointed. We enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs and gazing at the view. Boothbay is an easy day trip as is Kennebunk. Thank you to Dan for being such a wonderful host. This is a not so hidden gem it seems!

Scenic and quiet

Beautiful property, exceptionally well managed and highly communicative property owner. Great place to get back to old school family bonding without electronics. Beautiful rocky beachfront and location. Wonderful place to stargaze. I’d say stop at a grocery store on your way in town.

Lovely Quiet Grand Secluded Maine home

Our second visit to this well built, nicely appointed, secluded country home. Rural Maine can be a bit depressed and forbidding. This lovely home with its secluded lawn that borders a beautiful tidal basin, is a gem.

Great Maine Stay

We just returned from a month long stay in Maine. This is a beautiful home - a quintessential Maine style home. Very comfortable and well laid out. The location is private and with beautiful views of the water. It was well-equipped with everything we could need. Our dog loved the open yard and explored every inch of it. Dan is a fantastic host. Everything was in order and he was quick to respond when we had a few questions. He also provided a large dog crate so we didn’t have to bring one with us. I would highly recommend!

A gem in Harpswell

Tucked away on the Harpswell peninsula but still only 20 minutes from Brunswick & 40 min from Portland - this property is a fantastic getaway! The property is exquisite and Dan is a fantastic host. You just have to think of something you need and chances are Dan has it stocked up! Dan was also fabulous with his recommendations on things to do in the neighborhood and beyond. The house itself has a warmth and welcoming feel. It’s spacious, comfortable, and scenic. Thank you for your warm hospitality Dan and we hope to be back soon! Harpswell has its own

Enjoy Coastal Maine

The home is nicely situated along a cove where one can enjoy the local nature. The town has numerous galleries with works from local artists. There are countless restaurants and food shacks that specialize in local seafood. All the while visitors are not far from lighthouses, trails, and amazing coastal rock formations.

We had a great time at Dan's house. It is hard to find anything negative to say and we did not find it. The location is outstanding, the house is exceptionally clean, and incredibly well furnished including if one wants to cook. On top of that, Dan was so helpful and very responsive. It is one of these rare places you are just sad to leave. We just hope to have the opportunity to rent this house again

A Great Maine Stay

The home and property were more than we expected. The home was clean, minimal, and efficient. There was water access on the property. Very quiet neighborhood, which was great for our dog. A large dog crate was provided, which was amazing and reduced our anxiety for when we left the house and left our dog behind. There were plenty of linens and blankets. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We would recommend this property to all!!
