Basic property with hygiene and structural issues: We stayed at this property in Calahonda with two couples. While the location is excellent for day trips and we enjoyed our time in the area, the accommodation itself did not meet our expectations, especially compared to previous well-equipped VRBO rentals in Puerto Banus and Cabopino. The key was located in a lockbox outside the gate, which was easy to find thanks to clear instructions. However, we were only provided with one set of keys for four adults, which was impractical. The hygiene was substandard. We immediately noticed mold in the bathroom. This was further confirmed in the kitchen: the oven was greasy inside, and several plates and pieces of cutlery still had food residue on them. The second bathroom is extremely small; the shower stall is too cramped for an average-sized adult to even bend down. Additionally, the showerhead broke off during its first use, and we had to replace it ourselves. Facilities and Comfort. The property is very basic and lacks essential comforts. While the washing machine worked, the tumble dryer mentioned in the description was missing. With only one drying rack, it was impossible to dry bedding and towels for four people during a rainy period. The AC was insufficient for heating during the winter. The roller shutter housings have an open connection to the bedrooms (covered only by a wooden plate). During stormy days, this caused a significant draft directly over the beds.
