Loved our stay

Pedro met us to open up his beautiful little home to us. A very accommodating gentleman who gave us a number of great suggestions for dining and sight seeing. We had the most amazing time enjoying walks along the beach and hikes along the oceanfront. We will definitely be back.

Lovely by the sea

Cozy and comfortable seaside cottage. Great area for walking on the beach, in the lands or in the little valley nearby. Wonderfully helpful owners. Well equipped with good quality accessories. Close to nearby attractions at Sintra and even Lisbon by car.

Captivating views and wonderful owners! Worth the short drive outside the city!

We had a wonderful stay in this very comfortable beach home outside of Sintra. Pedro and his wife cooked us a traditional Portuguese meal that was delicious. This home is perfect for a family vacation or just a weekend getaway for 2. We rented a car and were able see every part of Lisbon with nothing more than a 30 minute drive. Most sites are within 15 minutes but the beach towns down south are a fun activity and the surf town to the north is also a fun destination. The location could not be better with easy access to the beach across the street and never ending breath taking views!

Schönes kleines, großartig gelegenes Haus

Die Aussicht ist noch besser als auf den Fotos, die Lage in Strandnähe fantastisch. Im kleinen, netten Haus selbst darf man keinen großen Luxus erwarten, doch war alles da, was wir im Urlaub so brauchen. Alles war sehr sauber. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Pedro. Wir können uns vorstellen, wieder hierhin zu kommen.

Wunderbares Haus in traumhafter Lage

Schon der Empfang durch Perdo war herzlich, in das kleine, schmale Haus verliebt man sich sofort. Die Lage ist perfekt, die Sonnenuntergänge einzigartig. Der weitläufige Strand ist nur 50 Meter entfernt und wirklich groß. Lebensmitte findet man in Magoito, größere Supermärkte mit tollem Fisch in Terrugem. Spazieren an der Küste ist wunderbar, es gibt einige tolle Lokale in der Umgebung. Ein Besuch in Sintra ist ein muss, aber unbedingt ganz früh oder erst kurz vor 6 pm, sonst steht man an unzähligen Schlangen an. Zum Palacio am besten vom Bahnhof mit dem Bus fahren! Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub in toller Umgebung. Vielen Dank Pedro!

Coastal retreat in Sintra

Absolutely stunning views on the Sintra Coast. Close enough to explore Sintra Castles and Surrounding, yet set back from the crowds. Beautiful beach and miles of coastal cliff walks. A fantastic place to hang and relax.

Amazing View!

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! We had the most amazing view of the ocean, right on our doorstep! Our rental was lovely and cozy! It also had a fireplace that we used on chillier evenings. After visiting the sights of Sintra, Fátima, long walks along the ocean, it was so nice to come back to this home away from home! Thank you also to the owners who met and welcomed us with a bottle of champagne and fresh bread. We would highly recommend this place!

Awesome Atlantic views

Spent a delightful week in the house with a view and what a view. The house is very close to Sintra and Praia Grande with lots of great places to eat. Pedro was extremely helpful and provided all we could ask for to enjoy our stay. We also had the bonus of meeting his lovely family prior to our departure. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the property and would definitely like to return if the mighty Pedro could arrange the sunshine !

Het ideale vakantie adres met spectaculair uitzicht op de oceaan

Wij hebben met onze twee kleine kinderen van 4 en 2 jaar een fantastische twee weken vakantie gehad in het huis van Ana en Pedro. Het huis is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin met gazon is omheind zodat de kinderen veilig kunnen spelen. Het is slechts een kleine wandeling naar beneden en je staat op het strand. Na een dag met sightseeing is het heerlijk thuiskomen. En wat is er nou romantischer dan aan het eind van de dag de zon te zien ondergaan in de zee? Ana en Pedro staan altijd klaar om te helpen en tips te geven en doen hun uiterste best om het voor de gasten zo comfortabel te maken dat je alleen nog maar hoeft te genieten van je vakantie.

A piece of heaven

This house is simply wonderful. Loads of thoughtfulness packed into this narrow house. We were told by the owner Pedro (who, incidentally is very charming) that the house had to be built to fit on this narrow lot, with 3 meters on either side. The result is this wonderful narrow and long treasure. The clever design of the house makes the interior seem much larger than it is. Quite comfortable for our 4 adults. And a giant plus is that this is 1 of only 4 houses (and 1 is a ruin) that overlook the ocean on a dead end street. A welcome respite from the crowds in Sintra.

The cutest property ever!

We have stayed in well over 50 villas and apartments in Portugal and this is the cutest one yet. The home looks small because it is narrow, but it is long and when you are inside it really feels airy and spacious. It was spotlessly clean and is decorated with so many lovely pictures ornaments and tiles. It really felt like a home. We loved sitting on the front steps facing the sea and watching peoples reactions as they walked past because it is such a unique place. They would point and stare...probably quite jealous of its location too. If you want privacy however, there is a huge back garden which gets the sun all day and as there is no one living in the properties on either side, it is not overlooked at all! There is wifi and a big tv for watching dvds on.(no English channels but who wants to watch the tv when you can look out the window to see the sea!)There is a well stocked spar a few minutes drive away and 2 cafes within 100m. Magoito beach is stunning and not overly crowded either. No issues with parking as you are 100m from the beach itself. There is no aircon but the property does remain cool due to the lovely sea breeze. The only things missing are a washing machine and some sun loungers. Pedro was simply charming and it was so lovely to meet him and stay in this beautiful home. Would definitely recommend and hope to return. Muito obrigado. Mark and Susan.x

Wunderschönes Haus mit Traum-Blick

Wer es ruhig und komfortabel mag und den vollem Blick aufs Meer genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist (bis auf dem fehlende Waschmaschine) super ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Die Magoito-Bucht ist eher ruhig, aber in max. 20 Minuten Umkreis findet man weitere Buchten und die Schlösser und Burgen von Sintra. Pedro und Margarita sind sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber, die uns bei allen Wünschen zur Seite standen. Vielen Dank dafür!
