Retiro de pescadores. En la rama sur del río AuSable, limpio, cómodo

Bienvenido a la cabaña del río de nuestro pescador en South Branch, con muelle para relajarse sin prisa. ALQUILAMOS SELECTIVAMENTE esta propiedad que encontrarás bien equipada y limpia. Cabina casi nueva, interior de pino nudoso con banco de atado de moscas. Dos habitaciones cada una con dos camas y un futón en la sala de estar. Cabina duerme y tiene un máximo de 4 personas. La cocina está totalmente equipada con lavavajillas, microondas y horno, cafetera, ollas, sartenes, utensilios. WiFi es sólido como una roca.

La propiedad está justo aguas abajo del legendario Mason Tract, que tiene kilómetros de río salvaje sin cabañas, poca presión de pesca y excelentes senderos para caminatas. Estamos ubicados a 5 millas de Gates Lodge, y a una milla de distancia del lago Kneff. Excelente área para pesca, senderismo y observación de aves. Tenga en cuenta que esta es una PROPIEDAD DE NO FUMADORES por dentro y por fuera.

Great Property, Love the solitude

Great return trip. Steve has a great place. We look forward to the solitude and family time here. Will return again if Steve will have us. Kids are officially hooked on fly fishing for trout now. This place helped make that happen.

Great location, great owner

We've made some great memories and had some great family time at this South Branch cabin on the AuSable. Close to Grayling, Hartwick Pines, the main branch of the AuSable, canoe liveries, fly shops, Mason Tract wilderness, Kneff Lake, Lake Margrethe, and Roscommon. Full kitchen and bathroom, great fly tying desk, bluegill pond, and grassy backyard overlooking the South Branch to just enjoy and let your south BREATHE! Just bring your towels, fishing gear, toothbrush, and food. We love this place. Thanks for sharing your gem with us, Steve. Looking forward to returning in 2025.

Another Great Week on the Au Sable!

Thanks, again, to Steve Loving for letting us enjoy the "Fisherman's Cabin" on the South Branch of the Au Sable River. It was another perfectly enjoyable week! I also want to comment on the quiet neighbors you have: Please pass along my gratitude to them all. It was almost as if we had the entire area completely to ourselves. We have rented cabins in the past and had to deal with noisy, partying neighbors day and night during our entire stay, but you are certainly blessed with some of the best!

Great Spot on the River

The location of this property is the best part. It is right on the South Branch of the Ausable. Very private and quiet. Fishing was great right out the back door. No cable television, but that is probably best to get you outside. The only thing is that you are expected to do more cleaning of the property at checkout than other properties. That is likely because of the difficulty of finding help cleaning the place due to it being remote. Overall, it was nice to get away and I had a great time fishing.

Great trip

This was a repeat family weekend for us at this property. Steve is a great host and communicator. House was stocked with all amenities needed, wifi was strong, and the view/grounds were impeccable. Close to Grayling if anything was needed. My kids loved fishing on site, and pizza from Paddle Hard Brewery can't be beat. Great wholesome, family weekend. We will be back!

Great stay, great place for small families

This is our second stay at the Fisherman's Cabin. Steve is a great communicator, and the place is great. Our family loves it. Great accommodations, river access, kids are obsessed with the bluegill pond, great wifi, kitchen/grill, big table for family meals and games, fly tying desk, back entrance with a great bench for puttingon fishing gear...close access to Grayling and Roscommon. The only minor wish list recommendation would be a thicker mattress on the futon or a different couch, but that's minor. I'd still grade the cabin a 99%. We love it, and I hope we can go back again in the future. Our young daughters (ages 4 and 6) ask all the time when we can go back to "fish camp." Thanks for helping us make great family memories.

Great stay on the South Branch.

Perfect location on a very fishable part of the South Branch of the Au Sable River about 13 miles east of Grayling, MI. This is definitely the best "fishing cabin" I've ever stayed in. Thanks for allowing me to be your guest. We will be back.

This place is as advertised, with ready access to the South Branch. We had a Wednesday to Sunday booking after a hectic week,and this property afforded us some much needed down time. It was the perfect match of isolation and convenient access to everything we needed (17 minutes from Grayling), and centralized access to all of the Au Sable. We didn't actually need to leave the property to enjoy nature, and so we didn't. This was pretty fantastic as I forgot my handy dandy Au Sable guidebook and would have had to rely upon memory to navigate to all the obscure honey holes around town. The rental is exactly as described in the photos, and is fully furnished with everything you need to have a good time. It was lovely fishing off the dock, and seeing people wrapping up their water sports day at the Smith Bridge pick up spot as they paddled through. 10/10 would recommend whether or not you're an angler.

Great Stay at the Fisherman's Retreat

The property was well maintained and as advertised. The interior was clean and comfortable. The location was great. We dropped our kayaks onto the South Branch from the property and had a wonderful kayak trip.

Perfect Getaway

Very nice location with the Ausable River running through the backyard. The overall property was very well maintained. Our dog had a blast and appreciate Steve allowing us to share some memories with him. Double thumbs up on this property.

Very clean and updated cabin with everything necessary except you had to bring your own towels. Couldn't quite understand that reasoning. Also, it was listed rather in a confused way that one did not have use of the big house but only the little one. Perhaps, it needs to be stated differently so the renter understands exactly. The cabin was in a central location and the water was delightful.

Weekend away Canoeing

Property is clean and well maintained. It is off the main road down a two track that opens up to a nice cabin complex right on the river. Family enjoyed playing in the river and canoeing/rafting. Downtown Grayling is just 16 minutes away. Perfect place for fishing. We saw many wildlife.

This property has been in our family for 15 years. We love the AuSable River and the surrounding area. You will enjoy the great outdoors of northern Michigan, fly-fishing, and swimming in the river.....if your up for it. : )

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Fish out your back door. Take a walk up stream and fish down to the cabin. Enjoy the dock for cocktails and the large wrap around porch with a view of the river. If you have beginners they can practice their skills on the pond before hitting the stream.
