Alternativa perfecta a caro habitación de hotel sin renunciar lujo o la ubicación! En un edificio nuevo y completamente el interior de marca, pero con fachada original fuera en la popular calle Huertas, muy cerca de Prado, el Thyssen y el Reina Sofía y el Palacio Real, en el centro histórico de Madrid, el famoso Barrio de las Letras. El apartamento cuenta con una cama king size, además de sofá-cama en la sala de estar. Mucha luz y justo en el medio de todos los lugares sucediendo.

El apartamento está justo al lado de la Plaza de Santa Ana. Cerca de la Puerta del Sol y la Plaza Mayor. Se puede ir andando a La Cava Baja, una calle llena de restaurantes y pequeños bares. Además, el Mercado de San Miguel. Un gran lugar de encuentro y buenas tapas

Great apartment convenient to attractions and restaurants. Loved the little balcony. And there was a nice living area with sofa and small table. We didn’t use the kitchenette, but there was one - also a washer in the apartment as well. Was perfect for our needs and Gorete was very responsive and helpful.

This lovely apartment was central, clean, secure and the owner flexible in our request to drop off our suitcases prior to occupying. A/C was so welcome after a day of Madrid traipsing- would stay here again.

Perfect Location

We had an excellent short stay in this property. The accomodations for 2 are perfect. Everything worked as stated. We had a little difficulty getting in due to extenuating circumstances but were still in before the check in time and communication was excellent. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Always a great stay

This was the third time we stayed at this property, we love it. It’s a nice apartment in a great location. It’s walkable to all the attractions in the area with good restaurants and cafes nearby. You do get a little bit of street noise from things closing down but it has never bothered us.Hopefully we will be back again next year!

We had a wonderful time in Madrid! The apartment was in a wonderful location. Many destinations are within walking distance. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was set up nicely. I would definitely return!

Perfect for our short stay

We traveled through Madrid on the way to a music festival in Malaga. Location was perfect for exploring on foot. Vibrant neighborhood close to museums and many restaurants. Very comfortable bed and living area/kitchen. Would stay here again!

Great location

Great centrally located apartment. Could use some fresh paint and updated furniture. The sofa was unbearably uncomfortable. Fortunately, there were extra pillows to help out. The owner was great and genuinely wanted to make sure our visit was memorable.

Location/Property Very Good. Taxis bad

This property is perfectly located mid way between Plaza Mayor and the Prado. An easy walk to both and near many nice restaurants. The property is fully equipped and in excellent condition except for a couple of touch up needed in the bathroom. The landlord communicated easily in English which we appreciated. The only problem was the taxis which the landlord should try to improve through her Vrbo/Air B&B owners association. On the way in the taxi driver took us on a circuitous route from the Antoch train station. He ripped us off 45 minutes and €20 For a ride that should have been 15 minutes and €8. On the way out of town Alicia called a taxi for us. When he arrived, for reasons unknown he thought we were going to the airport. When we informed him we were going to the train station, he refused to take us, refused to call us another cab and drove off, leaving us locked out of the apartment, standing a the curb.

Outstanding stay!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property (first time 5 years ago) and it was excellent, once again. The owner was easy to reach and responsive from booking to checkout. The place was clean and comfortable. The location can’t be beat. It was a bit cold in Madrid during our visit, but the apartment’s heating/AC kept us very comfortable. We highly recommend and will book again!

This is our second stay at this beautiful and most lovely apartment! Loved it even more the second time! Great location with a perfect place to relax - gorgeous linens; fluffy towels, and just about everything else you need. Gorete is wonderful and shares so much information - truly remarkable!!

Perfect

We absolutely loved this apartment. The location couldn't be better, walkable to everywhere we wanted to go and on a lively street with lots of great bars and restaurants. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well decorated - the glass enclosed terrace was a lovely spot for coffee or a vermut. We were there during a very hot period and were extremely grateful for the powerful AC. We thought it might be a little noisy and brought ear plugs, but we didn't need them, the windows blocked street noise even on a Saturday night. Gorete was a particularly charming host who had lots of great suggestions for local restaurants etc. Will definitely return.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Location, location, location! This is smack-dab in the middle of the historic Barrio de las Letras (Literature Neighborhood) very romantic, safe and with countless places to eat, people-watch, on a pedestrian street (no traffic).

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The building was completely gutted a few years ago and they saved the facade and the 100 year old staircase, but everything else is brand-new modern construction. We have furnished and equipped the apartment with everything we would like to find in a rental, we use VRBO ourselves when we travel so we understand that small details are paramount.
