Great location for Chania old town

Nicely presented apartment for 2. We loved the terrace and the 2 minute walk to the beach. Chania old town was a short walk away and plenty of places to visit with a car.

Perfectly located Penthouse apartment

A lovely apartment with a large terrace from which you can see the sea and watch the sunset. The apartment was kept clean and was a good size for 2. We loved the location, a 2 minute walk to the beach and an easy walk into Chania. It was also a great base for visiting the surrounding area. We could have done with a frying pan!

Disappointing

The VRBO website featured pictures of inside of the apartment are accurate BUT the outside pics are somewhat misleading. The view is of other roofs and is sort of industrial with only a tiny view of the sea. The evening sounds included barking dogs cars, crying babies and occasional loud music. The unit is supplied with bare minimum of supplies. (e.g.. no salt or dishwasher detergent, few cooking utensils and minimal and barely sufficient bedding/pillow/towels.) Some of the lights did not work. The shower worked but some of the features were broken. Be aware that there is not an elevator and you will have to ascend 60 stairs to get to the unit. The only positive is that the unit is about two blocks from the beach. The maid was friendly. Would not book again or recommend to a friend.

We are really sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay in our apartment It is the first time we have complaints for loud noises. Of course the apartment is near Chania town and in an urban area but never had complaints about noise, especially from the penthouse which is on the top floor. Oreo travel is 24/7 available to solve any kind of problem our clients may have but we never received a message from you that something was missing or needed. Be sure in case you wanted something we would be more than happy to assist you with. Yes there is no elevator at the apartments bur it is not stated somewhere therefore nothing to mislead you there and again we could have moved you to an apartment on the ground floor if you were informing us that there was a difficulty there for you .

Ophold i NEO chora

Området pragtfuld, beliggenheden fin- udsigt og terrasse fin- men bad og stue/ køkken trænger til en opgradering, lille bord i stuen, kunne ikke bruges - Rengørings damen var det sødeste menneske og prøve det bedste sammen med manden, da vi 2 gange ikke kunne komme ind på grund af strømsvigt.

This was a nice apartment in a good location, and we enjoyed our stay there.

The apartment was clean and well-equipped, although we found that the cooking pots needed to be washed and there was mouldy coffee in a filter in the coffee maker. Fortunately there was a dishwasher, also a washing machine, but it would have been very helpful to have a small amount of cooking supplies (salt and pepper, sugar, oil, dishwasher and/or washing machine detergent) to help us through the first day or so.The location was quiet and within walking distance of restaurants, beaches and the Venetian harbor. We had a problem a couple of times with hot water for showers, but that was fixed on our last day there. The shower stall appeared to be leaking, which meant there was quite a puddle of water on the floor to wipe up. Our contact with the owner/manager was very good and helpful. We enjoyed being able to spend time on the terrace, and in general we enjoyed our stay in Chania.

Excellent Apartment

Great apartment, I loved the large terrace in particular. Location could not be better. So close to the beach and local restaurants. Old town centre and harbour only 20 mins stroll away. Ticked all the boxes for us.
