Idílico bungalow junto al mar ubicado en Linstone Chine Holiday Village en Cliff End Freshwater en la hermosa Isla de Wight. Wii fii ilimitado y gratuito está disponible en esta propiedad. El bungalow de dos dormitorios es de ladrillo construido con baño con bañera y ducha. La cocina y el salón son de planta abierta y el salón tiene un t. v. con grabadora. Fuera del bungalow hay un patio con mesa de patio y cuatro sillas con sombrilla si es necesario. El alojamiento tiene capacidad para 4 personas y está cómodamente amueblado y bien equipado para todas sus necesidades, un verdadero hogar lejos del hogar. El bungalow disfruta de impresionantes vistas con vistas al hermoso campo al frente y al mar hacia las agujas, al costado del bungalow. El pueblo de Freshwater está a poca distancia en auto oa unos 15 minutos a pie. La ciudad muy popular y el puerto de ferry de Yarmouth, donde hay varios pubs, restaurantes y cafeterías muy buenos, está a unos 30 minutos a pie. La playa se puede ver desde el lado del bungalow y se tarda solo cinco minutos en llegar caminando por el sitio de vacaciones hasta el camino. Un poco más arriba en la playa hay una cafetería y un bar y restaurante junto a la playa y un cubo tradicional y palas y helados a la venta. Desde la playa, siéntate y observa los barcos que navegan y disfruta de la hermosa vista del castillo de Hurst a través del agua.

Great little spot with beautiful views

Great Chalet

We were delighted to stay in this chalet. It was clean and well equipped. Powerful shower and a comfortable bed. Situated in a quiet part of the park, with lovely views. We would definitely return to this chalet if it is available when we return to the Isle.

Comfortable bungalow in great location

Bungalow is in a great area for walking, with views of the Needles and sunsets from the back. Well equipped - even has an air fryer. We found it a comfortable place to relax after a day out and about.

Property was clean on arrival, check in was easy. Property is located in the country side, on the cliff looking out over a beautiful bay (albeit view from property is inland). Beautiful sunsets from site, and dark skies for star gazers. Generally located on the quieter side of the island

Everything we needed

A lovely Easter break, the property was exactly as described and perfect for me and my daughter. The site has a crazy golf and playground and lots of space for kids to play. The views were great and we would stay again.

Week at Cliff End

We were very pleased with our stay. Though the property is part of the Linstone Chine resort it is actually a few hundred yards from the main resort area and hence offers more privacy and better views. It was very clean and perfect for our requirements. The location is perfect with great walks literally from the doorstep. We used the bus service rather than the car as you can get to anywhere on the island via Newport.

Lovely bungalow . Fantastic scenery

We enjoyed our holiday only downside it was a bit remote and had to use the car to go anywhere. The brochure said it was within walking distance to the beach but that wasn’t possible with towels , buckets and spades and picnic

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. The bungalow is normally within walking distance of the beach but unfortunately the steps going down to the beach from the slip way, were damaged and we are awaiting the council to replace them, hopefully will be very soon. You can go down the actual cliff but difficult whilst carrying beach stuff! Yes, I appreciate that you do need a car to visit all the islands attractions, luckily, being an island, nothing is too far away. Although many guests love to just stay in West Wight and enjoy the stunning scenery. I hope you will come back again and enjoy all our beautiful island has to offer. With best wishes

Home from home highly recommend accommodation.. Host go out their way to ensure a comfortable stay. Accommodation is ideal with breath takings views/scenery, there are a couple of excellent costal walks on the doorstep. Location has easy access for many amenities and excellent restaurants. Recommendation Horse and Groom approx 5 miles on the the A3054 Excellent communication from the host you will not be disappointed with this accommodation. Overall good experience

Brilliant serene location - especially if you are going there through Yarmouth Ferry. Value for money considering it's size, although general hygiene at the property could be improved. Host was excellent in prompt communication. Please note, the online listing for sea at 50 meters away could be mis-leading - as most of the travellers would expect a beach with access which is not true.

Sorry to hear you considered the general hygiene of the property lacking, as I do the cleaning myself and always make sure that every surface is thoroughly cleaned and of course disinfected, to make Covid safe. I have never had any complaints regarding lack of cleanliness, in fact quite the opposite, most guests say how clean it is.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped, no screaming children or barking dogs.. Good views when it was not raining or foggy. Poor lighting in the seating area- had to use torches to read by and bathroom could do with a shaving mirror Unlikely to return as poor approach road bad for car suspension and old bones

Thank you for your feedback, it’s appreciated. The light in the lounge area was on a dimmer switch, we have now replaced that to make it brighter. I’m sorry you found the speed humps in the road uncomfortable but I’m afraid they are necessary. The road has recently been completely relaid, as the potholes in the old road, were becoming impassable. The road is also used by walkers, many with children and so for safety’s sake, the speed of vehicles needs to be kept at a safe level. I do hope it didn’t affect the enjoyment of your stay too much. Pretty good

Could do with some updating. For instance who put the bathroom cabinet and mirror up. Need to stand on tips of toes to shave. Also the mirror in the twin room. Shower door needs new water seal along the bottom edge - looks as though never cleaned YUK! The settees are looking very tired with holes and internal stuffing showing. The electric fire in the lounge does not work. The lounge clock has stopped. Quite a few ants on the prowl but no ant powder? If you are going to provide a 'J Cloth' then how about a whole one? Most of the windows need a bit of general maintenance so that they can be opened and closed effectively. Generally ok but too many niggles. You did ask!

Thank you for your feedback, which we take seriously and we have investigated. I am pleased to report that the electric fire does work perfectly, after pressing the on switch you just select the heat level required and it comes on. The seal along the shower door has discoloured but I can assure you, is cleaned at each change of guest and is hygienically clean. I was alarmed by your mention of holes in the sofa and have thoroughly inspected and I can see where you must be referring to, the seam stitching on one of the back cushions has stretched and pulled, showing a little of the wadding. Thank you for highlighting it, as it isn’t immediately noticeable. The clock battery has been replaced. There were a couple of ants and I expect you saw that some powder was sprinkled in the corner to stop them. I also left ant powder in the kitchen under sink cupboard along with fly spray etc, sorry you didn’t see it. I discovered one of the bedrooms top vent window had jammed, just before your arrival. A new handle was ordered and has now arrived. Apologies for that but beyond my control. The other windows appear to be working well. I have also now provided an additional mirror that can be angled for guests of varying heights. We pride ourselves on offering a high standard of accommodation and I hope this has reassured you. I do hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise. With best wishes

Home from Home by the Sea.

The bungalow was convenient, clean, spacious and very comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and furnished. The kitchen was well equipped with all the extras that I had forgotten to pack. Eg salt, pepper, kitchen tool, foil and tomato sauce. There was plenty of hand wash in the bathroom. The cleaning cupboard contained all the essential items. To summarise “A Home from home”
