Quiet and roomy apartment, very comfortable and pleasant. Near bus stop and in a nice neighborhood off the tourist trail (though walking distance to Rathfarnham Castle). Terrific bakery just down the street, also Tesco and Aldi. Personable and helpful host.

Great Location to visit Dublin

This is a Great location for a safe and quiet stay in Dublin.Secure Off street Parking an added bonus. Only 10-15 mins on the bus to the heart of town.The apartment has everything you need and more- a comfy bed, strong shower important.The welcome pack milk and biscuits nice touch! John as a host is A1- communicated from start to finish- all questions answered - would return if needed thanks

Fantastic Stay in a nice part of Dublin.

I had a wonderful stay at this ground-floor apartment in a nice part of Dublin. The apartment is wellmaintained, spotless, and very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and does his utmost to ensure you have everything you need for a pleasant stay.The location is almost perfect – the bus stops right in front of the apartment, making it very convenient to get around Dublin. Different supermarkets are on walking distance and there is a nice little coffeeshop (Black Sheep) across the street to fullfill all your cafeïne- and breakfast-needs.I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely stay again in the future. Highly recommended!

A nice cozy apartment

I stayed in the apartment for a long time. It is cozy and well equipped, I felt comfortable in it, I could make myself at home. City centre not far away. Bus just in front of the gate, facilities very convenient. The building is quite old though, and some things are old too. The host is very nice, always ready to help and provide what needed. This is definitely a plus.

Perfect place for us while in Dublin.

The property was small, but perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed being in a safe quiet neighborhood outside the busy and noisy city central. The bus stop is very close. There is a nice coffee shop and a restaurant within a block. Groceries can be purchased about 2 blocks away. Perhaps the best reason to stay here is because the owner, John, went way out of his way to ensure our stay was delightful. He checked with us during the stay to make sure all was well, and exhibited the kindness and graciousness for which the Irish are renowned.

La propiedad es tal y como se describe en el anuncio y como se ve en las fotos. La parada de autobús esta a 15-20 metros de la entrada y solo toma 1 autobús para llegar tanto al centro como al aeropuerto. John siempre bastante atento antes, durante y después del hospedaje, nos dio varios consejos y nos explicó como funciona el transporte incluso antes de llegar a Dublín. Recomendado 100%

Cosy flat and friendly host

We liked it very much in John's flat. The flat is cosy and equipped with the most necessary things. The flat is located in a nice part of town and you can reach the city centre quickly by bus. It's also easy to get there on foot, but it takes a little longer. The host John is very nice and takes good care of his guests before the trip and during the stay. He was able to answer all our questions and gave us tips for Dublin. We can definitely recommend the flat!

Excellent Host

The host went above and beyond to make sure that his guests were fully satisfied with their Home Away experience and stay. He was extremely helpful, providing useful tips of how to get to the property before arrival and checking in with us regularly before even arriving at the property. Would highly recommend.

Excellent property, excellent location !

We stayed in this apartment on the longitude weekend. Was perfect for getting to Marley park and the city. Bus stop right outside. No road noise. Overall really nice apartment, exactly as advertised. Host (John) was very helpful and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend enough.

A great place to stay

This accommodation is outstanding and is a genuine one bedroom apartment as listed. It has everything you need for self catering and laundry facilities which were a bonus. It is an easy bus ride to the central city and the communication from John the host was excellent including great directions and information re busses etc. We highly recommend this property.

Séjour très agréable

John est très gentil, et très facile a contacter, il a été présent pour nous donner tous les renseignements nécessaires pour le bon déroulement du séjour. Beaucoup de petites attentions qui font la différence avec un appartement très équipé et calme. A 20 min en bus du centre ville, tout est facile d'accès. Je recommande à 100% cet hôte et cet appartement.

Comfy stay near Dublin City Centre

John is a very friendly landlord, he was always available. I can recommend this accommodation. You can reach Dublin City Centre easily by bus. The flat is located silently. A supermarket is very close.

Hospitality is the difference

The property itself is comfortable: similar in size to a 1 bedroom flat. It was the perfect size for my wife and me. The location is very good: About 10-15 minute bus ride into the City Centre. John was very accommodating, from our arrival into Dublin at 6:30a until we left. He met us outside the complex at 630a even though the guests staying in our room were not leaving for another 2 hours. He took us to a local Starbucks where he bought us a coffee, gave us a quick local rundown, and then drove us into the City for us to start our adventure, all before checking in! He also gave us use of his Leap Bus card, which saved us probably 20 Euros for back and forth trips in and out of the city for 2 days. Regarding the room, a few unique features (at least for us americans): the shower has a switch which is outside the bathroom/shower room and requires the switch to be turned on/off in order to turn the water on/off. So if you are going to take a shower, you ideally have a loved one you can hollar at to turn the switch off so you don't exit a running shower all soaking wet to turn off in the bedroom (getting floor in bathroom and bedroom wet). The mattress was not very comfortable. If I would make one suggestion, it would be to update the mattresses in the rooms. But I would not downgrade my review as a result of this. Having eye masks for sleeping was very nice since in the summer it's light until 10p or so and gets light again around 4am, and there was a skylight directly above our bed. All in all, my wife and I would unanimously recommend this property and their hospitality. Thanks again John!!

Amazing Dublin find!

John was so welcoming and completely wonderful. His directions and instructions were very thorough and completely easy to follow. His place is spacious and perfect for two people. Great spot for a Dublin stay

John is a great host. The suite was very well equipped right up to the tea and cookies. He lent us his Leap card to use on the bus system. The #16 is right in front both coming and going. The suite is very quiet and peaceful.

Cracking apartment in the suburbs of Dublin. 10/15 minute bus journey from Temple Bar/City Centre. Tesco Metro just down the road that sells everything you will need. Finally, John the host is extremely helpful/welcoming and will give you all the information you need to maximise your stay in Dublin.
