Guido the owner arranged our taxi from the airport which was great as we arrived at night and would never have found it.
It is a good basic no frills apartment and good value for money.
The only window is the patio door, the patio gets some morning sun but not afternoon sun it has a drying rack, table and chairs.
Plenty of pots and pans in the kitchen, full size fridge, microwave, gas hob, 2 slice toaster, small kettle but only one plug which makes a cup of tea at the same time as toast difficult. Decent size bed but the mattress is a bit soft.
Nice bathroom and plenty of hot water in the shower.
You have to bring your own tea towels and Beach towels.
The resort was quiet whilst we were there but if it was busy I don't think there would be enough sun loungers which are heavy wooden ones and either up or down but not adjustable.
Guard on the gate so only residents can get into the resort.
Ideally situated for strolling along the beach. windsurfing, kite surfing etc.
Most restaurants have wi fi
There is not much to do in the way of visits, we did an island tour which takes 6 hours and saw all of the islands sights. booked from the kiosk in town on the corner opposite the pier. really nice guide.
we had some lovely food and some awful pizza's. The best food was at the Barracuda.
The whole area felt safe and we were not hassled at all, asked a few times if we wanted to visit a local market but in a friendly way.
It can get very windy
Bring plenty of books, puzzles and games, films to watch etc.
A very relaxed place and not commercially developed yet!
