Great stay!

We were very happy with the unit overall. The condo is a good size (we hosted 15 people at one time when we had family over for dinner one night). The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Great views of the Gulf! The ONLY negative about our stay was the wait for the elevators. That isn't a critique of the unit but is an issue with the property itself. If you bring your patience, you'll enjoy yourself.

Beautiful Unit

I loved the unit. Online pictures don't do it justice, it is much nicer in person. It was very noisy with road traffic echoing in the unit. According to my daughters, the bunk beds were very uncomfortable and hard. My bed was okay but needed to be larger and softer.

Perfect location

The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do and see. The ocean front view was exactly what we wanted. The pool area was also perfect. The Unit was very clean, it smelled slightly of paint, I'm sure it was just painted prior to our stay. There was some peeling of the paint on the closet doors and the cabinets had some lifting on the laminate coverings, otherwise the unit was pretty perfect. Only complaints would be, that the pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable and we did have to go buy an air matress for our teens to sleep on. Also, The listing states there is beach service but it should be known that beach service is available, for additional costs, it does not come with the unit. Other than that we loved our stay and plan to stay again!

Majestic

A few details should be addressed. Bedroom ceiling light needs to be replaced because it shines like a strobe light. The small bathroom toilet doesn't always flush well, requiring a plunger. The wrist bands are too tight. These are minor things, and overall this is a nice place. My only major complaint is the entrance process, but I don't know how to resolve it. Pushing the luggage cart to the room, and then returning it, and then walking back to the room is a major walk for us elderly. I think the long walkways should have a few benches so we can rest. I counted steps and calculated the walk to be equivalent to walking four football fields. For that reason, I will not be returning.

Cute Room

Overall, this room was good. It was nicely decorated with a beach theme. It had great patio furniture. It was pretty clean and pictures from vrbo were accurate. The only issues we had with the room itself was the ice maker didn’t work and the dishwasher lever was really hard to shut. The follow through with Panhandle Getaways wasn’t good. We asked for two parking passes ahead of time and they weren’t located in the room when we arrived. I called right away and was told we should have them the next morning, but never did. We risked getting towed from the parking garage the entire stay. Our only other issue was that my husband and I had our flops stolen from the bottom of the stairs going onto the beach. We had left them there all day and within ten minutes of getting our stuff together to head up to the room they were gone! This wouldn’t happen in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores!

The condo was as shown in the pictures. It was nice and clean.

We only stayed 2 days of the reserved week before the mandatory evacuation order for Hurricane Michael, so our experience is limited in nature. I feel sure we would have enjoyed our stay at the condo. Enhancements would include adding bulbs/fixing light fixtures in the hallway. 2 of the 3 lights didn't come on. This was really only an issue when coming back after dark. The hallway into the condo was quite dark. An Xfinity remote in the bunkroom would have made my kids happy. We managed to work around it, stealing a remote from another room, but it wasn't programmed for the specific TV so use was still limited. I agree with another reviewer that some plastic cups would be a welcome addition to the dishes. I would recommend this property. Majestic Towers is our favorite place to stay in Long Beach because of the location and amenities. It did seem busier this year, so there were issues with elevator use. It was not uncommon to wait 20-30 min for an elevator with sufficient space for more people. We often used the stairs, which is a workout from the 13th floor! The elevators are typically my one complaint for Majestic Towers but it doesn't stop us from returning year after year.

Majestic vacation

We love staying at the majestic we love the security of the parking garage and all the workers are very friendly and courteous very clean and the pools are amazing beautiful view from the balcony and our condo was very clean we love the H2O bar and the Bloody Mary bar was a very good addition we will stay there again

Everything was fantastic… the only thing we didn’t like was the walking back and forth to the parking garage. It had great views and was clean! Would stay again.

Columbus Weekend Getaway

Overall condo was as pictured, nice and clean. The lights fixtures in the bathrooms were fuzzy from dust and condo getting very close to needing to be updated. View was spectacular and amenities were very much enjoyed! There was a power outage in Tower 1 (4am to 10am) and it would have been nice to have received some information via text about what was going on . Thanks for the much needed break!

NEEDS AN UPDATE ASAP!

Overall we had a good experience, however for the price they charge the place needs an update ASAP; we had other family members staying at the same condominium units who paid less than us and had a better kept unit. *The bunk bed is wobbly and makes the loudest noise when you move; my teen daughters (12 & 15) slept there and every night I’ll wake up in the middle of the night because of the loud squeaky noise. *The microwave is rusty and falling apart. *the living room carpet and the restroom carpet were so dirty we ended up rolling it and not stepping on. This was our first family reunion, we rented a total of 5 units at the majestic and everyone else had some sort of communication/welcome email, text from their condominium owner except for us. I never heard a word from mine, I didn’t have any issue, but just the small details that sometimes matter.

Majestic Tower 1. Room 1305

Nice open floor plan. Comfortable beds and furniture. Kitchen well supplied. Toilet in the master was broken upon our arrival. The flapper in the toilet needed to be replaced. I called and emailed the management company at 8 am Monday morning. There was no reply so I called them at 11 am. . I was told they would try to have someone come fix it by the end of the day or first thing on Tuesday. I made sure they knew what the issue was so the repair man could bring the correct replacement part and save some time. Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 and still no repairman. I called again and was given the response “we never promise a time for service”. The repair person magically showed up 30 min later. Took 10 min to repair because I talked to repairman talked about Florida for 5 minutes. Condo excellent Management company could use some improvement.

Great Vacation

The only issue we had was the elevators at our building. constantly long lines and waits. This sometimes made us not want to go back up to our room from the beach because of the waits

Highly recommend!

We had a great time staying here. There were a few things that definitely had been damaged by other renters, like a closet door and handle, but overall the condo was very clean and had a great selection of kitchenware to use. The facility and ammenities were amazing. We loved the majestic and would stay again for sure. There were lots of negative reviews about the elevator wait times, but we didn’t have an issue with this. Around 4pm you would have to wait some, but nothing terrible. We used the beach service for the week and they did a great job. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We hope to return one day soon!

Was everything we needed

We totally enjoyed our stay at Majestic Tower 1 ... the condo was equipped with enough things to make our stay comfortable. The views from any condo on the beach at PCB are wonderful, and this was no exception. Only issue was Panhandle Getaways cleaning was not as expected and I did have to call them to come before we would actually stay in the place! and since we left I have been unable to contact them and they do not return calls as I am looking for next year.

Nice complex- very easy reservation/checkin process online. We did have a few minor issues with our unit but nothing worth reporting while we were there. The window in the master bedroom really needs some kind of room darkening curtain since the light (and noise) from the street comes directly into that room. We would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to pineapple Willy's and a few other things. And our weather was perfect!
