Our family really enjoyed staying at this property. It exceeded our expectations. The large kitchen had everything we needed to prepare great meals. We all were able to gather around the kitchen table and play games with an unbeatable view. The beds were comfortable and everything was so clean and fresh.We also appreciated how kind and responsive the host was to any question we had. This is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in and would return in a heartbeat.

Easy, relaxed retreat

We had originally selected this property because it had the space for us to gather with other family. Our plans changed, so only my partner and I, and our dog, actually stayed there. This place works for both--it was a comfortable place for the 2 of us to relax--bird watch, go for walks, nap--but it will also work when we can gather with extended family again. The very large and well-stocked kitchen plus the full dining room and breakfast nook can easily accommodate. The lake is lovely and the dock provides easy access.

Best trip ever!

What fabulous lake-related entertainment! Paddle boards, kayaks, peddle boat, canoe and oars and life vests to go with. Everyone (age range 3 - 71) had a great time. Dined downtown, saw salmon run and the seals that live nearby, Went to Northwest Trek for adventures there. Stay at home time had great spots for morning coffee, toys for rainy moments, tv for game days and a deck from which the view was spectacular!

Magical place on the lake

We chose this lovely property in Lacey, WA, to be driving distance from Seattle and outdoor activities. The house was just perfect for us, we enjoyed mornings, birdwatching and sipping coffee on the deck, paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake, and having dinner and playing cards, watching the sky at sunset. We enjoyed the peace, lovely surroundings, and perfect location. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owner was communicative, kind and easy to work with. Would love to return!

Great Home for Family Gathering

We had a great time at the house... lots of room to spread out and beautiful views. Everything we needed was in the house, including a portacrib and high chair, and the kitchen was well stocked. Mike was available and responsive to all communication. We hope to visit again someday!

Lovely, homey, peaceful

We stayed in this lovely spot as we were transitioning to a new home. It provided us with much needed respite. The beautiful view and a super comfortable spaces made us feel right at home.

When The Weather Is Hot This Is The Place To Be

My daughter and her family visited us from VA this past week, which just happened to be during the longest heat wave in Seattle history. So being on a lake in a house that meet and exceeded our expectations was wonderful. Mike, the owner, lives on the property was very helpful and informative. My grandsons want to come back next year. Who knows we just might do that.

Nice spot on the lake

Nice, relaxing location. Weather was a bit chilly so we didn’t get to enjoy it to its fullest extent, but it was still lovely to sit outside and enjoy the lake, watching the bald eagles and other critters. Easy access to all things in Lacey and a super easy check in.

Lovely getaway

Mike’s house is wonderful. Beautiful setting, lake views as advertised, well equipped house, very private location but still easy access to supermarkets/restaurants/etc. Great water activities as well for all ages (with a wide range of life jackets available). We wished the house had been a bit cleaner. It needed a bit more attention, especially for us with young kids. We would stay again.

Beautiful place!

We rented the lake house for a family gathering So we could visit with our children and grandchild before they get stationed in Japan. The house had absolutely everything we needed. We are looking forward to renting again for our next family event.

Sanctuary during Remodel

This home and property were tranquil and provided each of us with what we needed - a respite from the chaos of a full downstairs remodel, and from the chaos of life right now. Owner was gracious, responsive, patient; and the home was striking.

The most Christmas- Christmas EVER!!!!

We’ve stayed in a few vacation homes before, but this was by far thee best experience anyone in my family had ever had!!! The pictures of the view do it NO justice! Not to mention it snowed on Christmas! We also knew we might see some wild life, but we never imagined we’d see 4 Bald Eagles sitting in the trees right on the small island shown in the listed pictures!!!! • You can order groceries on InstaCart to be delivered! • All the cookware- i mean everything- was available • Wi-Fi connection was great! • All the streaming services Mike was an amazing host! He was excellent in communication and made sure we had an uninterrupted stay. We will def be back!

Peaceful

Very peaceful yet not at all isolated, this property is well maintained, very clean , spacious and perfectly equipped. The large deck and open view onto the lake and its ducks families is soothing and revitalizing! We had a short but very nice stay.

So Quiet and Relaxing

This place is great! The views are incredible and it’s very comfortable. You feel so far away from everything, but any thing you need is less than 10 mins. away.

Great place!

This property is great, six of us stayed there And we had other friends and family visit. We didn't get to spend as much time at the house as I would have enjoyed, since we were in town for a wedding and had a very full weekend. But folks got out on kayaks and SUPs, and I think we all got hot tub time. Kitchen is fully outfitted, there's plenty of water toys, hot tub is great. Mike, the owner, was very communicative and helpful but respected our space; we never actually saw him in spite of the fact that he lives on the property. The twin beds in the third bedroom are a bed and a trundle, so they do not match height and cannot be put together for a couple to sleep on, but all the beds were comfortable. The deck and the view over the lake is great, and it's a long deck across the back of the house. If I come back up with a group, I will look for this place first, to be able to stay there again.

Lovely Lakefront Home

This was the perfect place for our mini-high school reunion! The house was beautiful and Mike was so accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better location and view or a better stocked kitchen! Four groups had 3 lakefront houses and this one was chosen the best!

Beyond our expectations

The property is beautiful and well kept. The house is spacious, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen - wow - I could not believe how well equipped it was with high quality cooking and baking tools. The neighborhood was peaceful. We enjoyed paddling on the lake. The view is amazing. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed looking through the telescope at the Bald Eagle in the top of the island trees who seemed to be looking right back at us. This house had everything we needed and more. We will be back!

Great for family get-together

Very spacious house and kitchen, comfortable beds, quiet at night. There were lots of towels available and a nice washer and dryer. We had a family reunion here on Father’s Day - plenty of outdoor space for adults and kids. Big kitchen with everything we needed. Oven and stovetop are old and a bit sketchy, but seemed to work fine. Everyone had a blast using all of the boats (row boat, kayaks, SUPs and pedal boat) and rowing out around the island. Unfortunately the lake was kinda gross with algae so we didn’t do too much swimming. We loved watching the pair of eagles roosting on the trees in the island right in front of the house!
