Great place to stay

Spacious, peaceful property and, above all, warm - weather was atrocious- days of fog punctuated by rain. Lots to see and do in the area. Would highly recommend - even in the rain.

Wonderful holiday

Clean, well equipped with all mod cons , a lovely big garden with wonderful views , very comfortable and unbelievably peaceful, this was my second visit and I will definitely be back again, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I highly recommend staying here.

Lovly Cottage in the Contryside

We had an incredible stay at this charming Cottage. The peaceful Atmosphere, open felds and cozy interior created a perfect retreat during our Vacation. The Host is very nice and provided us with very good Tipps for our stay.

Stayed in 2018 & 19, so this was our third stay. Definitely the property/housekeeping needed attention in places and we have emailed owner with our observations.These observations did not lessen our overall enjoyment of staying at East Byreleask.

Peaceful, rural location

A lovely home in the countryside. Excellent facilities and fully accessible for my daughter who uses a wheelchair. Very good communication from Allan too.

Peaceful location with stunning views

Been here now for 6 years over Christmas and new year. We love the peace and quiet and access to lovely walks with the dog. The house is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all and is equipped with everything you need. Although remote, Ellon is only 10 mins drive and Aberdeen just 30 mins so perfect if you want to get out. Highly recommended

Love this place. So peaceful!

This is our 4 Christmas and new year here and we love it. It is so peaceful and perfect for walking or just cosying up either the log fire and watching films! Aberdeen is just 30 mins away which suits us. The house has everything you could need and Alan is very accommodating. Thank you again for letting us stay

Absolute tranquility

This was our 5th stay and we love it. It’s so peaceful and has everything you could need. Allan, the host, is great at keeping in touch and always available if needed. Fully recommended for those who love walking and the peace and quiet. But close enough to Aberdeen and other surrounding town. Close to the Brewdog bar and restaurant at Ellon which allows dogs and lovely food.

A peaceful retreat in Aberdeenshire near Ellon

Set in rolling farmland not too far from the coast this spacious cottage offers a quiet retreat with a wonderful view. We were fascinated by the harvesting of the cereals and by the wildlife. We didn’t have binoculars but there were definitely some birds of prey and geese. The cottage was well equipped. We would highly recommend

Stunning country views

A beautiful well furnished private cottage with an open plan layout, providing a perfect family space for dining and spending time together. Each room was well sized and complimented with 3 bathrooms and luxurious bedding, enabling a restful stay. The centrepiece must be the stunning views, enjoyed from the living room with windows opening straight out into the enclosed garden – a delight on a bright sunny day, but equally enjoyed by the warmth of the indoor fire when the Scottish weather pours down! Allan was also very friendly and communicative accommodating us with our request.

Had a problem finding the house but a friendly neighbor helped when we could not contact the host. As for the house and location, it was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Loved the rural experience with the cows in the adjacent pasture, sheep up the road, fresh eggs just up the road. The bedrooms were excellent, the kitchen was very good, the living and dining areas wonderful.

Sehr geräumiges Haus auf dem Land mit super weitem Blick in die Landschaft

Ein sehr großes und geräumiges Haus. Wir (2 Erwachsene + 4 Kinder (5, 8, 11, 1) haben uns super erholt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Etwas abgelegenes Ferienhaus auf dem Land mit wundervollem Blick

Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas abgelegen und sehr ruhig in Farmland neben einer großen Weide mit Kühen und Schafen. Den letzten Kilometer dorthin fährt man auf einem sehr unebenen Feldweg mit vielen Schlaglöchern, mit einem tiefgelegten Fahrzeug ist es sehr schwierig zu fahren. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr geräumig, der Wohn- und Essbereich ist groß und offen, herausragend sind hier die großen Panoramafenster, durch die man einen wunderbaren Blick in die Landschaft hat. Die drei Schlafräume sind sehr groß, die Betten sind sehr bequem, es gibt viel Stauraum in Schränken und Kommoden. WLAN ist von mittlerer Geschwindigkeit, es könnte schneller sein. Leider haben wir das Ferienhaus nicht so sauber vorgefunden wie es von anderen Urlaubern beschrieben worden ist. Z.B.: Schmutz und Haare in den Ecken der Fussböden, verdreckte Filter in der Abzugshaube über dem Herd, schmutzige Küchenschubladen, usw. Und leider hat das schöne große Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss nach Zigarettenrauch gerochen, obwohl das Haus ausdrücklich als Nichtraucherhaus vermietet wird, sodass wir dieses Zimmer nicht nutzen konnten.

Best of both Worlds

This property is even more stunning in person than in the photos. Beautiful scenery as far as the eye can see, including distant views of the sea! Incredibly peaceful but really convenient for the nearby village of Ellon, a giant Tesco (10 minutes away) and only half hour drive to Aberdeen. The host was so thoughtful leaving us supplies for a cup of tea after a long journey. Everything you could possibly need has been considered from a hairdryer and towels to a washing machine. A superb place to escape. A light, open space with modern facilities that you won't want to leave. We are very likely to come back again in the future!

Kurzer Aufenthalt im Nirgendwo

Das wirklich sehr gut ausgestattete Haus entsprach zu 100% der Beschreibung und wird von uns bedenkenlos weiterempfohlen. Es ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen, aber trotzdem Stadtnah. Lediglich die regelmäßig vorbeifliegenden Helikopter trüben etwas die Ruhe. Das einzige was dem Haus noch fehlt, ist eine Ladestation für Elektroautos.

Super family accommodation

Myself and my husband visited with my father in law and 3 young children. We have family around Aberdeen and wanted somewhere to base ourselves whilst we visited them. The accommodation is beautiful and very well equipped. The layout of the property worked well and an incredibly comfortable stay was had by all. We look forward to returning in the future. A perfect stay

Gorgeous place to stay

Clean, well equipped and beautiful view. We used this as a base for playing NE Aberdeen’s links courses. Although remote, easy to get to places we needed to to.
