Casa rústica, vista al mar, 6 personas, terraza con barbacoa.

La casa está adosada con otra de nuestra unidad, está situada en una gran propiedad de 4 hectáreas, en la colina que se encuentra entre el pueblo de Sesimbra y el Castillo. Área protegida donde no hay más construcción que las otras dos casas que forman parte de la misma propiedad.
El contacto con el mar y la montaña permanente, la tranquilidad y la privacidad, hacen de este alojamiento el lugar ideal para unas vacaciones relajantes.
Respondemos a las solicitudes de reserva dentro de 1 hora.
Las casas están totalmente equipadas para estancias de vacaciones familiares con wifi internet y TV.

Los huéspedes tendrán acceso a toda la casa y al área del jardín circundante y a toda la propiedad, que eventualmente se puede compartir con los huéspedes vecinos de nuestras otras dos casas en la propiedad.

Nous avons passé un semaine de vacances exceptionnel. L’appartement est parfait avec une vue extraordinaire sur la mer et un balcon très agréable. L’accueil et la disponibilité de André et Verena est top.

Sesimbra Sensational Holiday Home!

Top floor of the house had XL covered terrace for enjoying view of the town & beach within a 10 minute walk away: good climb up a significant grade on return. Enjoyed morning beach walk routine: end to end then home about 2 hours. Great Thai place for lunch in town & often had early tapas style meals on the deck at home here prior to sunset. Great place to relax & unwind at start of a holiday: for us prior to 20 night cruise & time in Lisbon thereafter. Our host was excellent & the house was very clean & well equipped: great value! Thank you, James & Tamie

Location avec terrasse incroyable

Les propriétaires sont très gentils et accueillants, la location idéale pour des vacances en famille. La vue de la terrasse est magnifique, c’est parfait pour des apéros et barbecue… on conseille vraiment !

Familienurlaub

3 Generationen in einer gut ausgestatteten Wohnung, kein Luxus, aber sehr gemütlich und viel Platz für unterschiedliche Aktivitäten. Der Blick auf Meer und Stadt ist phantastisch und die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Wir waren flexibel und preiswert mit dem Bus (Carris) unterwegs. Die Haltestellen sind in der Nähe und die wiederaufladbare Karte VIVA viagem (für Lissabon und Umland) gibt es am Busbahnhof. Vielen Dank an Verena und André für den lieben Empfang, die Erstausstattung mit Verpflegung, Getränken und den Kochzutaten, die meinen Enkel zum Kochen mit dem wunderbaren Fisch aus der Markthalle animiert haben. Sesimbra ist immer eine Reise wert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Prachtig uitzicht

Het uitzicht is fantastisch! Het terras is heerlijk voor lange lunches en zwoele zomeravonden! De inrichting en het meubilair is wat ouderwets, maar comfortabel en volledig. De keuken is goed voorzien van servies, bestek en dergelijke. In het huisje en op het terras is voldoende privacy. Als er gasten in de woning onder het huisje zijn, kan dit soms voor wat omgevingsgeluiden zorgen. Verder is het zeer rustig gelegen. De hosts zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam en reageren snel. Het is een pittig eindje wandelen naar het strand/centrum. Dus een auto is wel handig. Er zijn mooie kleine wandelingetjes te maken naar het kasteel en door het bos. Al met al een heerlijke plek! Een aanrader!

Fantastic house and Views

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The views were amazing and the terrace was a fantastic outdoor living space with comfortable chairs, bbq and dining area. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the hosts were - they provided us with some really great recommendations too. Don't miss the walk from the property to the castle - well worth the climb! Would very much recommend staying here. As with most places that have good views, it was high and up some steep hills. Although we always walked down to the center of town, we quite often caught a taxi back up the hill - they are plentiful and inexpensive.

Beautiful view, and well equipped

The focal point of the house is definitely the view of the town and bay pointing South, It is superb morning, day and night, and relaxing from the spacious terrace from very comfortable chairs and sofa outside undercover. The surroundings are very quiet, being on the side of a hill to the bay. The access to the house by road is quite steep but manageable, typical of the rest of the town. It is possible to walk into town and energetically back. The house itself is very very homely and the kitchen is well equipped. There are many other nice touches - CD players with a good range of CD's, hats (if you forget how strong the sun can be), garlic press, etc etc, plus the essentials (towels/linen) The house is one of 3 connected apartments. This one faces the bay above another apartment, and there is another behind. Privacy is assured between the 3. This is not part of a complex of apartments - it has an individuality to really appreciate. The town has a number of restaurants many serving fish based dishes. Parking can be a problem when visiting the town - suggest walking or paying approx 1 Euro per hour before 10pm. A car is recommended for journeying around and there is ample parking space at the house. The town and especially the beach can be busy in high season. I think this is a favourite resort for those living in Lisbon. Travelling to other towns and from Lisbon is easy, taking 40-50 minutes but be aware of the Lisbon bridge toll and which lane to enter. The owners were very helpful indeed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing time on the edge of the town and doesn't mind a bit of a walk or has a car.

Im Urlaub wie bei Freunden

Die gut für die sich selbst versorgende Familie ausgestattete Ferienwohnung liegt mit zwei weiteren Ferienwohnungen (jede mit eigenem Parkplatz und Außenbereich) in einem kleinen einfachen Haus am Hang am Fuße der beeindruckenden Zitadelle von Sesimbra. Sie ist mit ihren vier Zimmern sehr vernünftig geschnitten und besticht durch eine riesige sonnengeschützte Loggia (Zugang von Küche und Wohnzimmer), auf der sich auch der Grill befindet. Hier kann man den Sommer und den Ausblick auf das Städtchen Sesimbra und den Atlantik genießen! Das Haus befindet sich mit zwei weiteren kleinen Häusern auf einem weitläufigen eingezäunten Hanggrundstück mit Zugang zum Wald, was sich für unseren Hund als Glücksfall erwies! Wir haben sehr von den freundlichen Insidertipps der Gastgeber profitiert und die Urlaubswoche sehr genossen!

A beautiful view

We were looking for a home with plenty of space, a good kitchen and barbeque grill. We were not disappointed. The kitchen appears to be newly remodeled with large refrigerator that isn't often found in many european homes. We like to cook half our meals on vacation. I have never seen the variety of seafood offered locally. We loved buying fish at the town market and grilling them in the evening on the back deck. I invited my brother and his wife for candlelight dinners on the porch and we had a great time eating and drinking the wonderful and cheap local wines. Early October had beautiful weather for our visit, still some warm days at the beach but not hot. The atmosphere of the house is relaxed and welcoming and so were the owners Andre and Verna. We were just two, but I can recommend this for families as well, since it is a spacious home. Thanks Mike and Stan

Séjour magnifique vue inoubliable et super accueil.

La maison est au calme très propre avec tout ce dont on a besoin voir plus! La vue sur la mer est juste magnifique. La région est riche en visites, les plages sublimes et on y mange bien. Mais surtout ce qui marque c'est l accueil d André et sa femme. Gens charmants de bons conseils et le petit message en milieu de séjour pour savoir si tout va bien et si on ne manque de rien le top! Bref si nous revenons à Sesimbra nous y retournerons les yeux fermés.

A wonderful 'home from home' with a spacious and comfortable terrace to dine, relax & enjoy the view

We stayed in this wonderful house for two weeks with our 12 and 9 year old boys. It was a super base from which to visit a great range of different beaches within half an hour's drive - from the town beaches of Sesimbra itself, a long but worthwhile walk down the hill, through beautiful south facing and protected beaches at the foot of the Serra de Arrabida which were great for swimming, stand up paddle boarding and snorkelling, to the wide expanse of west-facing Meco Beach, ideal for playing with the waves and sunbathing. It was also a great base for daytrips to do walks in Serra de Arrabida and to visit the attractions of Lisbon and Sintra. We loved coming back to the cool and inviting house in the midday heat, where we could eat out on the large terrace and enjoy the views over Sesimbra and the sea. It is very well equipped and comfortable, and in a quiet location, though only a walk away from the restaurants and shops of Sesimbra. Verena and Andre couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful hosts. They provided a great range of excellent recommendations on what to do and where to go in the area, and were very thoughtful and mindful of what might interest us. It was a memorable stay!

Relaxing place, perfect hosts

We (family, two kids) had a great time at Verena's and André's apartment at Sesimbra. For diner we enjoyed the stunning view from the terrace. Verena and André helped us a lot by sending recommendations for tours and restaurants. The handover was performed in person. The apartment was clean the furnishment practical relaxiing place, great hosts.

Wohnung in allerbester Lage

Eine außerordentlich großzügige Wohnung mit einem phantastischem Blick auf die Stadt und das Meer. Alles was wir brauchten war in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden, trotzdem hatte man das Gefühl auf dem riesigen Grundstück allein und fernab vom allgemeinen touristischen Trubel zu sein. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und bei einer Wiederholungsreise wäre diese Wohnung unsere erste Adresse. Wer allerdings nach Luxus sucht, ist hier fehl am Platz, dafür ist das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis einfach unschlagbar.

Ferienwohnung mit traumhaften Meerblick

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet und die große Terrasse mit traumhaften Meerblick lädt zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein. Sesimbra ist ein sehr netter Ort und mit einem Mietauto ist man an in einer knappen Stunde in Lissabon. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist angenehm und unkompliziert. Wir können die Wohnung nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Charming cottage overlooking the sea

Can't imagine a better way to settle in and get to know this part of Portugal. The house is exactly as pictured--a comfortable little place high above the hustle of Sisembra. Stunning views of the village and water from the porch. You'll definitely want a rental car ... trek to town is great on a mild day but in the Summer heat the walk back up the hill is steep. Lots of different beach and sight-seeing options nearby. Kitchen is new and great for cooking easy meals, which you can eat on the porch morning or evening. (I recommend not skipping the fantastic long lunch hours in the towns nearby or at the beaches). No AC, so you have to be ok sleeping with windows open and dealing with the (very occasional) mosquito. Wifi works really well. Sound of the daily church bell adds to the considerable charm of this lovely little house.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This enchanting house is set in a 4 hectares estate, and is fully integrated in this beautiful protected area, where building is very restricted. It is the last property before Sesimbra Castle and only at about 500mt from the well known fishermen's town of Sesimbra. It is an excellent choice to lovers of nature, both the countryside and the sea. Privacy is guaranteed by the extensiveness of the property and its position. The house is 1000mt from the sea, which you can view and smell everywhere. Although the property and the houses are private and isolated, all the amenities of the local village of Sesimbra are only 1km away, making your purchases and local restaurant trips very quick.
And of course we have a beautiful terrace with a barbecue.
There is safe shaded parking for 1 car and there is plenty more parking around the house.
Beaches & Nautical sports: "Praia de Sesimbra" the nearest beach walking distance from the house; 'Praia da Foz' is a fine sand beach, only 6 km away by car, it is a beautiful unspoiled beach surrounded by cliffs. You can also find the beach “Praia das Bicas”, popular for surfing, and 'Praia Rio da Prata'. further south you'll discover the largest and main beach “Praia do Meco” with three miles of white sand and beautiful cliffs. This is the most uninhibited and naturist beach in Portugal. Praia do Meco is so long that if you walk long enough you will always find an uncrowded spot.
Gastronomy, wine tasting and other activities: In a country with such an extensive coastline, it is not surprising that the sea should be one of the main sources of its cuisine. In the many restaurants of Meco, Sesimbra or Setubal, sample all sorts of the most fresh and delicious grilled fish and the best seafood, such as clams, mussels or shrimps.
